Episode 245 Discussion: 13th April 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.
Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.

Episode 245 Discussion - EOD summary

Resting Period for the Hostage Drama. Time to show affection and to be either receptive to it or not.

Events of the Episode

Radhaji convinces Madhu to eat, reasoning out to her that without energy she would not be able to fight.Radhaji leaves at RK's prompt once Madhu starts eating. RK watches Madhu eating food. Looks very calm and pleased about and does not disturb her until Power-outage happens and room is darkened.
We have parallel scenes shown to us over the same power outage scenario. Aryan and MAdhu are afraid of dark and we have Sultan and RK taking care of them in their respective settings. Sultan's scene had the musical lighter sound and Sultan remembering Madhu's parenting lecture to him, that its okay to be scared as it means a sign of being human and living person. That is how he soothes a frightened Aryan.RK'scene has lighter too and lits up all candles around Madhu, with him asking not to be afraid, as he is there besides her.
While Aryan is all happy with his father taking care of him, here Madhu is unhappy with RK's antics. She is unable to appreciate what he is doing as she remembers one particular night, where dreams were presented with lit candles around her. What a big DHOKA it was to be cheated that way.
By the end of these scenes Aryan is asking his father Sultan if he will get Madhu if he behaved. Kaka and Sultan have no answer. In contrast in RK Mansion, RK actually goes to Madhu and asks her tie his bandage as it got opened. Madhu doesn't want to tie it, but reluctantly gives in to her urge to be kind. She shows mercy on her heart and also RK's wish and ties the bandage. While she is tying the bandage, RK is remembering the karwa Chouth scene where she fasted for him without caring for her health. As she ties the bandage, she sheds tears on his hand as she remembers the candle-lit dream that RK showed her one night, about their small simple life.
RK asks Madhu why she gave a balm in the form of her tears when he asked her just to tie the bandage. Irritated Madhu tells him not everything is about him, to which RK refutes and states that when it is she, its only about him (as she certainly was thinking about his deceit). Its pathos for both of them, may be which should be treated as bathos and yet scene just becomes realistic...as hate/love/fight or be friendly, they have enmeshed themselves with each other.
The last 2 and half mins minutes, we see RK watching Madhu asleep, caressing Madhu's hair while she is asleep. RK affectionately pulls a sleeping Madhu towards himself supporting her against himself in his arms. He looks very pleased and remembers the studio night when in a similar manner he supported her while she was falling off into fire.

I am astonished to see that the guy who manhandled you, kidnapped you, blackmailed you emotionally to be around him, that same person is being very tender and caring towards you. I know you will not believe me. I could not too. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. Initially I refused to believe thinking now what is he up to? But I think Madhu, your husband is finally falling in love with you. Though the realization of the magnitude of injustices he heaped on you is not there fully, I think he is realizing that you are not responding to him the way you used to before. That particular feeling is making him restless. He is unable to express his feelings when you are awake.
I know you will ask me, so what is stopping him to show his TLC to me when I am wide awake. The thing is I don't know the answer to that either. I so wanted to reach inside my screen and shake you to wake you up and tell you ,look Madhu see what you are missing. Your jaw would have surely dropped.

It looks like for now, you need to be asleep (aka act indifferent) longer for your husband to realize the situation. I think this is his way to gather courage to admit to himself (and to me of course) that just keeping you around him does not mean things will go back to what they were before. He really needs to make every effort to heal your wounds. He might act more crazily if you keep your no-response stance but I don't want you to give in easily at all.

I hope for your and his sake to that, that day is not too far when he owns up his mistakes completely and starts working towards winning over you by first letting you go. I will wait for you to trust him again and accept him and his love wholeheartedly. Because only then will I accept this love story and think it is now complete

A cute episode today. With both RK and Madhu remembering the happy times. Somehow I feel the main intention of todays episode was to make realize that RK is not faking this time and he is really in love. I loved the way he said 'I will be there with you always'😳 The only irritating part was that the kid really needs to learn that not everything you desire is yours. I feel the dialogues were more intended to show that finally Aryan will get Madhu after Sultan is gone.

I thought Aryan had promised not to mention Madhubala. He is pushing Sultan closer to Madhu again. At least the CVs didn't do it directly with phone calls to Madhu.

RK uses candles to light up the room.. He tells Madhu that there is nothing to fear as he is there and will always be there. The last time he said that was during the KarvaChauth track I believe. Slow and simple. He is calm. That craziness seems to be totally missing now that he has Madhu with him.

I'm not sure who mentioned this in yesterday's EDT but I agree that Sultan's home is nearby. The light goes out at the same time, the lightening outside is also in sync.

Tujhe Sochta Hoon from the movie Jannat 2 fits RK. As did the story which Madhu told him. And as for the answer to the second question, Sultan-Aryan are not related to RK, not yet atleast. But everything else is. If RK's love is Madhu's balm then she is RK's.

Madhu is just taking it one moment at a time, as it comes. She is talking to RK again, that must have helped in creating this good mood which he has.

RK is back to being a lover boy, staring at her, caressing her cheek, stroking her hair as she sleeps. So content to have his biwi back in his home, in his room. This the same man who was yelling, pulling, carrying his biwi just that morning. The same man who threatened his wife and mother with self-harm. Once he achieves his desired objective he is so easy going. The studio night again. Something changed not just for Madhu but RK also that night. Wonder what it was exactly.. seeing her vulnerable? Amazement at the strength that Madhu showed that night? Respect for it? A mixture of them ..

RK was gazing at Madhu so affectionately .. He's like a kid, just give him what he wants when he is crying and watch the 180 transformation.

Random thoughts :

Crorepati's get power-cuts too. 😆 Or it may be so that RK specially made one happen. Kuch bhi ho sakta hai in RKland.
Loved the 5mins of no-talking in between, when RK was going around lighting up the candles and also that he kept looking back at Madhu.
With flowing curtains and so many burning candles😲 - fire hazard!
Same day, Madhubala finishes dinner. Yet Sultan comes back to his home at random and asks his son whether he has eaten or not.😕 I thought they had fed each other 2 episodes back.
RK, the child - desperate for attention and affection. Reminded me of myself as a kid, when I used to run into my Dad's arms howling for the minutest of nick and cuts.
RK, the shrewd observer can be one the finest tactless person as well. 😡When he senses something is not about him, he simply makes its about him with a few tweaking words. He has to be the one around whom everyone's world revolve.
Madhu, the queen of emotions - why does she have to reflect so many emotions and give him the pleasure that he has any sort of effect on her! Keep it either blank or stone cold. Let him grovel in his own bewilderment.😡
And in the middle of all this, she goes to sleep. 😕 Well, that's what warriors do, stock up on sleep when they can, before the next round of combat begins.

After the intense and crazy drama yesterday with full on dialogue-baazi, today's episode was subtle, high on emotions and full of undying love of RishBala❤️ At the moment, RK is obsessed with Madhu and Madhu hates him (bahar se😆) but they can never never forget those beautiful moments they spent together, can they?😳

The scenes that stood out for me.

1. RK showing lighter to Madhu and then lighting candles for her. He knows how much his BIWI is scared of dark. That gesture of his was super cute and for a change RK was silent today😲😆

2. Sang Hoon Tere❤️ Could they choose a better song than this? NOPE. It was definitely RK telling Madhu that no matter how much darkness I bring in your life, but I'll always be your knight in shining armour And they have so much chemistry even when they just stand and stare at each other.

3. RK asking Madhu to tie the cloth back on his hand. Awww.

RK - Ab yeh zakhm tumhe hi sambhaalne hain BIWI.

So true. RK would take care of Madhu's wounds and she would take care of his because their lives are entwined❤️

4. When RK asks Madhu if she was thinking about him, Madhu tells him about the story of egoistic KING who thought that everything just revolved around him in the world👏 She won't relent easily, neither I want her to😛

And RK being RK tells her two things😆

That he doesn't like paapads (it was related to Madhu's story)😆
That even he knows that everything that revolves around Madhu involves only him❤️ So true RK, Madhu was reliving those beautiful memories of both of you only😆

5. When Madhu's tear fell on RK😳 RK said that it was the his OINTMENT How cute RK!!

6. RK caressing Madhu's face while she was fast asleep and admiring her I also loved their flashback

All, in all, RAAPCHICK episode⭐️👏 Thank you CVs, for small mercies😆

Since yesterday ( in episode terms) normalcy seems to be limping back to RK Mansion with RK getting a little reassured about Madhu's feelings for him. RK is showing his softer side while Madhu isn't giving an inch. She won't make it easy for RK. Good, keep it up girl! 👏

Radhaji coaxing and explaining Madhu that going on a hunger strike won't help her fight was perfect. The same explanation from RK was not received well by Madhu. She doesn't seem to be in the mood to accept any advice from RK. Did Radhaji have to leave the room immediately after Madhu assured her that she will eat? She could surely stick around?

RK seems to be getting over his dark, angry mood. Madhu is back in his house by hook or by crook and this has calmed him down for the time being. The power cut and seeing Madhu scared of the dark makes him light up the room with lots of candles.

Don't people use inverters/generators in Mumbai? I use it, so was confused with the darkness. Was the room too dark even after lighting so many candles? Not sure as I watched the episode from somewhere else and either the brightness setting was low or maybe they shot it so. Had to strain to watch the scenes.

RK asking Madhu to retie his bandage and also that Madhu only will be responsible for curing his wounds and he in turn will take care of Madhu's wounds was sweet.

It was also nice to see RK remembering the 'studio night' scene when he saved Madhu from falling into the fire and also the KC scene when Madhu kept a vrat and fainted. Both seemed to be sweet memories for him. Is he changing? If things between Madhu and him remain calm, there might be hope of him understanding Madhu's pain and doing something to alleviate the hurt and pain. At the moment he either does not want to acknowledge that aspect or is unable to understand her heartbreak and pain.

Madhu tries to ignore RK but is reminded of their times together - especially their 'dream home plan' and how she wanted to run off with RK that very day. The memory brings tears to her eyes which are misunderstood by RK as caused by his wound?

RK taking care of Madhu is sweet to see - the pre-revenge RK was kind of off-hand and never looked at Madhu in this manner. Is this love or is this obsession?

Aryan - beta, you had won me over during the last two episodes but today you reverted back to the 'will I get Madhu' track. Really disappointed with you, couldn't you have stuck to your yesterday's 'I will never ask for Madhu' stand?

Why do CV's always fool us with the precap? They showed this precap all week as though it will be shown on Saturday. Madhu wakes up in the dead of the night, is confused and flustered. She sees RK sleeping beside her and tries to get up from the bed only to find herself chained to RK.

ETA: Loved RK's lines:
1. Biwi dieting toh no fighting! So he expects his Biwi to fight tooth and nail.
2. humne patti jo apne jakhm pe bandhwayi toh aap kyu roye..

tabahi jo humare ghaav pe aayi toh aap kyu roye..

wow i soo soo loved that song they played on Rishbala...thats one of my favourites song (errr...lets not talk abt the video its 🤬)and besides that the thing which stood out in the epi was Madhu's story to prove RK wrong that she doesnt think abt him 😆...but kameena is too smart, kya mast reply diya - i dont like papad and when its u then its abt me only 😆😆

and dont need to say i loved the precap 😃

that's what I felt too..bec. after yest. episode, and watching it again, i got this feeling that RK was happy bec. his revenge plan succeeded in breaking Madhu..this much that she can never love anyone else.. the man lost his credibility long back...but today was a different story altogether..i have serious doubts over this track..where is it leading us? i dun care if they show the RRR, but till now, there haven't been any convincing scenes which make us believe that RK loves Madhu...anyhow, if he's serious this time, he's honest in his efforts to win over Madhu's love once again, I'm all for it

Today was a treat for Rishbala fans..Chakku , group dance again?

the first 5 mins. were slow..🥱 Radha is a saas and aurat but she's also a mother..and the last role overpowers the other two...if Radha as a woman, really cared for Madhu's self respect then she wouldn't be praying to Bappa to bring RK and Madhu together isn't it? She could have asked Madhu to sleep in her room...why this stupid fake talk of nari shakti and atmasamman? she's RK's mother first then anything else and her son knows it...

RK mansion mein batti gul?😲 that's strange ! bec. no power back up means no lifts nothing..but it created a nice cozy romantic atmosphere..him lighting up each and every candle, one by one and looking at Madhu after lighting each one of them got boring after a while...he handed over a candle to her...both shared an eye lock...He asked Madhu to tie the bandage again but Madhu refused...I loved DD's acting today..she didn't have any major dialogues but emoted through her eyes and she hit bulls eye everytime..each of her expression was bang on..it gave us an insight into MAdhu's mind, what she's thinking now...like in candle wala scene, was she confused,

hurt, slightly disgusted..after a while she just gave up on him 😆

tujhe sochta hoon main sham aur subah it's a lovely lovely song..Thank you CV's for playing it today..it uplifted my mood...only if RK really meant it "ye zakhm tumhe hi sambhalne hai biwi" 😆 haan..his highness ne koi kaam nahi karna mehnat wala 😳 he had tears in his eyes in this scene?😕

Madhu telling him some stupid story (i heard it for the first time..ye story Padmini ki hi ho sakti thi 😆) ...RK giving an apt reply "i don't like papad biwi" 😆 dun take panga with me..ask yourself this question, tumhari har cheez mein main nahi hoon? in a good or a bad way yes, he's always on her mind...

the last scene where Madhu falls asleep and RK takes her in his arms was aaawww ! I dun want Madhu to agree anytime soon...let him belofy all the papads in Mumbai..

Why did they have to include Sultan scene? 🤢 whats with Aryan now? he WANTS MAdhu?😡 and his father will get Madhu to him?😆 really if CVs r taking up this route, it's gonna be worth a watch...only till the time RK ka dimag theek chale...for the time being , i wanna issue a warning in Mumbai ke all the girls living on first floor or above should be careful while drying their hair bec. thodi si rimjhim boondein kisi par gir gayi toh he might come running to you for marriage proposal 🤢
