a gud story which engrosses the readers needs all the elements ranging from the character sketch of each person,their emotions,their reaction during every situation,the small background details,and of course the plot combined in the perfect way..and i must say throughout ur story u have grown as a writer.The way u have sketched Roshni's character have always amazed me..to be honest u inspire me a lot..happy that smthing thriling is gonna happen in ETF..naya case jo mil gaya hai..

Part 48

Rathor's loud voice was enuf to make Arjun and Roshni bring back to reality. Both embarrased looked at each other and nodded to him. All were in the rum now sitting arnd the table.

Rathor : "Ek bahot important news hai. Informers se pata chala hai ki Mumbai port se aaj raat ko ek ship jaane wala hai. Mere sources k according, kuch illegal consignment hai...aur hume wo har haal me apni custody me lena hai. Hum log aaj raat waha jayenge. Make sure team ki un logo ko pachtana padhe ki wo ETF se kyu takraye."

Rathor and Arjun xplained the whole plan to the team - where they wud hide, who wud pair with whom, how they wud attack them - everything.

It was 11:00 PM. The team took their positions. Arjun was with Shree, and, Rathor with Roshni, both teams accompanied by some commandos. Chotu was leading a separate team of commandos. There was an unusual silence in the atmosphere. They waited there for almost one and a half hour. Nothing was suspicious.

Shree : "Sir hum log kitni der se wait kar rahe hai. Yaha to kuch b nhi hai."
Arjun : "Nhi! Sam... I mean Rathor..."
Shree : "Its ok sir! Aapk muh se Sam sunne me zyada accha lagta hai"
Arjun (smiles, after a pause) : "Sam k informers galat nhi ho sakte. Kuch to badha hone wala hai yaha."

Shree was amazed. It was the first tym that Arjun has passed a smile to him and has went on with wat he said. And he doesnt look bad at all while smiling. Shree looked at Roshni and smiled coz he knew that its her effect only.

After sometym, few men secretly entered the port area. Their attire, their behaviour, everything was suspicious. Rathor then noticed that they have got guns with them too, so he alerted the team...but commanded them too to dont act until they r told to. The team was carefully observing the whole activity. Soon a ship arrived at the dock. One of those men took the charge of a large crane and unloaded two large containers from the ship.

Chotu : "Order dijiye sir!"
Rathor : "Nhi Chotu! Pehle dekhne do yaha kya chal raha hai. Tab tak koi action nhi lena hai"
Man1 (guiding the crane man) : "Aaram se rakhna. Haan, dheere...dheere..theek hai."

A group of people came down from the ship. They were discussing something, may b about the 'content' of that container, with those people who were already standing there. Rathor and Arjun both were thinking wat can b inside that container. Both looked at each other as if they telepathically communicated with each other. Both nodded and slowly the team move towards the
ship.

Rathor (shouted pointing his gun) : "Freez! ETF!"
Man 1 : "ETF! Ye log yaha kaise aa gaye?"

The goons started firing on ETF. They took their cover and started firing on them too. The main leader of the gang tried to sneek from behind them but Arjun and Rathor were too quick to stop him at the right moment. Soon the situation was under control. Casualties were mainly from their side. Shree had been shot at his right leg just below the knee. He was being taken on a strecher. Roshni was worried for him.

Roshni : "Shree! Tum theek ho na?"
Shree : "Haan bahot maza aa raha hai. Mujhe to ek aur khani hai...goli!"
Roshni : "Shutup Shree!" *tears welled up in her eyes*
Shree : "Are main theek hu baba! *groans in pain*Aah! Chotu samjha na ise!"

Chotu gently put his huge arms arnd her and comforted her. All the goons who were alive were taken into custody. Rathor held the collar of the gang leader, Abbas, and enquired him abt their mission.

Rathor : "Kya plan hai tumhara? Aur in containers me kya hai?"

He just gave a wicked smile. Rathor looked at him with disgust and left his collar. The police took him away from Rathor. He asked some commandos to open the container. It was not at all a pleasant sight. The container was full of some 100-200 small girls and boys, all aged between 8-15. Some were scared, some were seeing them with no particular xpression and some were
sleeping. It was visible from their face that they had been drugged. ETF was quick to come to the result that it was a case of child trafficking. Everyone was shocked that how can someone beahve so inhumane with someone.

After some tym, at the Dock, arnd 3:30 AM

Rathor : "Shree kaisa hai ab?"
Chotu : "Sir wo theek hai. Doctor ne kaha hai ki kam se kam do din to bed rest chaiye hi."
Rathor : "Its ok. Aaram karne do use. Raat b bahot ho chuki hai. Hum sabko b chalna chaiye. Kal office me milte hai."

Rathor moved towards the SUV and then turned to look at Arjun, "Arjun! Tum aa rahe ho na?"
Arjun then looking at Rosh, "Umm..wo main.." Arjun, for the first tym, was having this strong urge to drop her home and he really wanted to do that. Rathor winked and sat at the driving seat saying, "Come Chotu! I'll drop u." Obviously he knew wat was going on in Arjun's mind and said that to tease him.

Before Roshni cud realise wat was happening, Rathor and Chotu drove off from there. It was nt the first tym that he was going to drop her home but the emotions that were rising and falling in their heart were definitely new.

Arjun : "Chale?"

Roshni now knew that she has feelings for him. And after that eyelock, she was feeling too shy to even look in his eyes. Getting with him in the same car wud b very difficult for her...wat if he sees something in her eyes, says something to her or ask her something instead. But it was also true that she has started admiring him now. Arjun held the door handle and turned to look at her. She
was still standing there.

Arjun : "Kya hua? Aaj ghar nhi jana?"

Roshni nodded her head snapping back from her thoughts. She opened the door of back seat.

Arjun : "Peeche baithogi?"
Roshni : "Haan! I mean nhi...ummm..sry" *sheepishly grins*

She opened the door and sat just beside Arjun. Arjun then looked at her and observed that she was feeling somewat freaked out. Well he was somewat near that state too, but nt xactly there.

Arjun : "Kya hua hai tumhe?"
Roshni : "Mujhe!...Kuch b to nhi!"
Arjun (smiling) : "To fir seat belt kyu nhi laga rhi ho?"
Roshni : "Oh!" *smiles*

She wore the seat belt. Both took a deep breath and Arjun turned on his machine. There was utter silence in the car. They just didnt know wat to talk abt...Gia, Shree, the case or Rathor...and then Arjun made his choice...

Arjun : "Umm...Gia kaisi hai?"
Roshni : "Theek hai! Kal hi to aap usse mile the"
Arjun : "Haan." *turns his head as if saying "Wat r u saying dude!"

In between those minimal talks, there were frequent xchange of glances followed by a smile and then turn of head in different directions. Roshni was feeling little uncomfortable...it was definitely a gud feeling, one that raises the heart beat but an uncomfortable one. Her heart was beating really fast and she was just hoping that it didnt fail.

Arjun : "Wo...tum..."
Roshni (all of a sudden) : "FM sune...haan ek tiring day k baad a gud song...best hai.." *switches on the FM*

Tu hi ye mujhko bata de
Chahun main ya naa
Apne tu dil ka pata de
Chahun main ya naa

Arjun : "Kya tum..."
Roshni : "Wow ye song mera fav hai. Main thodha sa volume badha lu."

Arjun was trying to talk to her but she was just nt letting him finish. She didnt know wat he wud say but just didnt want that to happen today. On the other hand, Arjun just wanted to have a casual talk but wasnt getting the point to trigger that off. He also didnt want to go that fast with everything but wen Roshni abruptly started the FM he thought its better to b quite for that moment.
