who cares so much for him

n can't see him in so much pain n guilt

that he just told her to keep his lunch that he would eat it later

knwoing that he would not do it

but what he didn't know was

that it was his mother who was standing there

n she couldn't see her son in such a state

n maan also after seeing his mother after so long

couldn't control his emotions n just ran to her

she made him calm

n he also promised that he would take care of himself

n told her to go home n not trouble his dad more

Here on the other hand Geet's life had taken a complete u-turn in these past 3 months. Initially she was very happy with her boyfriend Dev but slowly his attitude towards her changed and a tear escaped her eyes as she recalled their last conversation.

FLASH BACK

Geet was really happy as she went to meet the love of her life, her Dev. As she entered his flat super excited she was a little surprised to see him roaming around in his boxers.

Geet (over looking his shabby condition in her excitement): Dev, I have convinced papa and he is ready to meet you. Come with me and ask for my hand, I am sure he will agree this time for sure.

Dev (faking excitement, trying to hide his nervousness): Wow that is so cool, you go and I will join you.

Geet: Arey yeh kya baat hoti hai, (Arey, what is this?) I gave you such a good news and you seem so disinterested (she said faking anger, then her mischievous self took over her and even before Dev could react she held his waist and pushed him till his bedroom) Come on get ready and we shall… (her voice got stuck in her mouth as she saw the scene in front of her… her eyes widened in shock to see a semi clad girl lying on his bed trying desperately to cover herself as she saw Geet. Ground as if collapsed under her feet as the fact drowned on Geet that Dev was cheating on her. Dev tried to speak something but anger rose in her veins as she turned towards her betrayer and slapped him right across his face. Gripping his collar) How could you Dev, how could you I trusted you so much and you didn't even think once before betraying me (she was about the slap him again but Dev gripped her wrist. Till now he was somehow trying to control his nerve as he knew she was the golden hen but seeing his lip bleeding and that too at the hands of a mere girl he simply lost his cool and threw her down with force)

Dev (fumed in anger as his mouth spat hatred): You were nothing but a mere toy for me. Have you even looked at yourself you stupid beauty less bimbo (grabbing her hair and shaking her up even as she winced in pain) do you really think anyone could be blind enough to fall in love with a bitch like you. I was just using you for your dad's contacts you brainless witch. (he slapped her right across her face and Geet felt as if her cheek would explode such was the impact of his blow. He then dragged her via her hair even as she screamed in pain and threw her out of his flat smashing the door on her face) Get lost you bitch.

A noise in the canteen broke her thoughts.

Meera (seeing tears in the crocodile's eyes she just couldn't control herself today): So I see even witches cry these days, what a sorry sight and I thought that they only made us humans weep.

She said mockingly at Geet and it was then that Geet realized she had being crying the whole time remembering Dev's betrayal. How much ever her brain told her that she should feel blessed to have gotten to know his real intentions, her heart wept at being shattered so mercilessly. Geet was in no mood to talk to anyone and just picked up her bag and was about to leave when Meera stopped her.

Meera (holding Geet's wrist): Wait a minute madam, I am not done with you yet. (Meera said seeding in anger).

Geet (trying to free herself from her grip): Please leave me alone Meera, I don't want to talk about anything right now I am just too heartbroken (even though Geet's didn't want to talk about her pain but somehow she couldn't control her emotions as her eyes welled up once again)

Meera (laughed mockingly): I never knew that a blood sucking monster like you also had a heart. (Geet tried to pull out her hand from her grip, she knew she could have easily given back but she just didn't have anything left in her soul after Dev's betrayal) Waise you know what, acha hi hua (it's good only) that Dev broke your heart and left you, now you might just realize how easy it is to break someone's heart and how painful it is to be at the receiving end.

Geet (finally managed to free her wrist): Whose heart did I break (she asked in surprise)

Meera: Wooowww… so now you don't even know whose noble heart you butchered so brutally, whose soul you stomped on so mercilessly that he is like a living corpse, whose life you destroyed so heartlessly that his divine soul is burning in remorse. (She held Geet's shoulders shaking her up, shocked at Geet's bewildered face as if she knew nothing) Now don't pretend to be all innocent as if you know nothing. (Geet could only muster "Whom") Maan…

Geet (shocked to say the least, as a thousand questions erupted in her mind): Maan, but when did I break that monster's heart, did you forget it was that devil in disguise who despite claiming to be your brother molested you (she let out a ghostly laugh) in fact I was saved from that blood sucking vampire but only to be trapped in the hands of another (she laughed at her destiny)

Meera: Do you seriously think Maan could ever fall down so low (she asked Geet in disbelief while Geet felt her heart sinking was she actually implying what she said. Meera shook her head in amusement)You seriously didn't realize what you asked from Maan Bhai that day or you are simply acting innocent because if you are then I must say you are the best actress.

FLASH BACK

It had been a couple of days since Maan had proposed Geet but they had hardly seen each other due to the project deadlines so when Maan received Geet's SMS that she wanted to meet him, he was over the moon. He gently caressed his mobile screen… hayeee… his Jaan had messaged him to meet him and he toh was literally flying hayee… and such was his state all lost in his dreams when he reached the secluded area behind the cricket field where she had called him to meet.

But as soon as he reached there, ground as if collapsed beneath his feet to see tears in his Mishti's eyes.

Maan (completely taken aback as his heart ached seeing her crying): Kya hua Geet (he tried to wipe her tears but she stopped him… Maan was shocked but as soon as their eyes meet his simply shattered to see her lovely hazels blaming him for her misery. His heart died a thousand deaths not able to bear those unsaid accuses) Please Geet kuch toh bolo, kya hua hai, tum aise kyun ro rahi ho, please Geet, your silence is killing me deep inside. (he tried to hold her shoulders but she jerked his hands away in extreme fury).

(What happened Geet?

Please Geet speak something, what happened, why are you crying like this, please Geet, your silence is killing me deep inside.)

Geet (anger completely over took her senses seeing her tormentor sympathize with her pain): Stop it Maan, just stop it. I am not going to fall in this drama of yours that you really care for me (Maan was totally stunned "drama") Aur nahi toh kya I don't want any false sympathy from you.

Maan (not understanding anything): You are not making any sense Geet (trying to hold her again) What is the matter Jaan.

Geet (jerking his hands): Bas karo apna yeh pyaar ka natak… ab bas bhi karo and don't you dare touch me (Maan was too shocked to react) Kyun kuch samaj nahi aa raha hai ya phir anjaan banana ka natak kar rahe ho (seeing him still lost she continued) Tumne sab kuch barbaad kar diya apne dhong aur dikhawe mei.

(Stop it, stop your love drama… just stop it now and don't you dare touch me (Maan was too shocked to react) Why you are not understanding anything or you are pretending to not understand anything (seeing him still lost she continued) you ruined everything in your pomp and show.)

Maan: Par maine aisa kya kiya… (But what did I do…)

Geet (completely losing her cool, gripping his collar): Kya kiya… Kya kiya tumne… tumne meri dosti ka galat matlab nikala aur uska fayada uthaya, mei tum se nahi Dev se pyaar karti hoon (her words pierced his loving heart, his Geet loved someone else) par nahi tumne toh poore college ke samane apni shaan dikhani thi na ki tum toh koi hero ho aur jo chao, jise chao usse bas hasil kar loge (her acidic words scorched his soul) Tumhari wajah se aaj mei apne pyaar se door hoon, kitni mushkil se maine papa ko samjaya tha par ab tumhari wajah se woh meri shaadi mere pyaar se kabhi nahi karwalenge… yeh sab sirf aur sirf tumhari wajah se hua hai (she shook him madly) Bolo maine tumhara kya bigara tha ki tumne meri zindagi is kadar barbaad kar di.

Maan (how could he not fulfill the only wish she had ever asked of him, how could he knowingly bind her to himself knowing it would only ruin her more, how could he be so selfish to destroy her love for himself… what if it meant that he had to kill his heart… what if it meant that he would die a brutal death every second… what if it meant that he had to destroy his very existence… what if it meant that he would be striped and he would lose even his self-respect): Wohi hoga jo tum chahogi.

(Whatever you want only that will happen)

Geet was stunned as she heard the dept and commitment in his voice and she turned around to look into his eyes and what she saw in the depth of those dark eyes gave her the jitters as if indicating that a storm was about to hit their lives but by the time she could even fathom what his eyes actually meant he simply turned and left but not before his heart pledged even his own life and soul in an attempt to free her forever.
