Jeevika went inside to grab her purse. She came out to see Viren parked across the stop sign. She was walking over when a car drove by at 70 mph in a parking lot not even stopping at the stop sign. Viren quickly ran out of the car to Jeevika's side. Jeevika had fallen right on her knee ripping her scrubs somewhat and scratching her arms badly.
v - "JEEVIKA! are you alright?" he said helping her get up.
j - "Yeah I'm fine" she said shaking a little.
v - "Jeez your arms are all black and bleeding. Let's go get you cleaned up inside"
Viren took Jeevika's pressure on himself, and helped her inside the locker room where he asked Zoya to come with some bandages. They went straight to the locker room where Zoya quickly started cleaning up Jeevika's arm.
z - "How did this happen?"
v - "She was crossing over and someone just went past the stop sign"
z -"Here its done. Is it stinging?"
Viren and Zoya looked at Jeevika who was now crying for some strange reason. She wasn't loud, but she definitely had tears coming out her big beautiful eyes.
v - "Jeevika whats wrong?" he said sitting on the bench and hugging her.
z - "I think she's tired. She's been studying non-stop and has been up since 5:30"
v - "Okay lets go get you both some food and then why don't you go sleep in the on-call room? I'll go pick up Zaaine okay?"
z - "Yeah let's go"
Zoya, Viren, and Jeevika went to the cafeteria to eat lunch. They bought some lunch and went to the on-call room where they all ate together.
v - "Where's Karan?"
z - "He should be getting out soon. I told him to come here"
v - "Okay. Are you okay Jeevika?"
j - "Yeah I'm fine. Just got really panicked at the moment"
v - "I think I should leave, have to pick up Zaaine"
j - "I'll come with you"
v - "It's fine, why don't you take a nap?"
j - "No, I want to make sure he's okay. I won't be able to sleep"
v - "Okay, let's go"
j - "I'll be back" she said to Zoya.
Virika walked out the hospital, this time though Viren held her hand tightly making sure she wouldn't hurt herself again. He opened the door to the car and made her sit first. They both drove off to pick Zaaine up.
j - "I hope he wasn't quiet"
v - "He should be fine. He'll get used to it"
j -"Yeah but still. He's always with you or me and doesn't interact with people easily"
v - "So thats exactly how we were too, remember?"
Jeevika looked at Viren and smiled.
j - "that first time we met in our macroeconomics class"
v - "I still remember that day clearly. You were wearing your this skinny blue jeans and this black shirt with a white scarf"
j - "Not bad Viren"
v - "I know" 😆
