v - "Someone wants to be spoiled rotten today" he said feeding her the strawberry

j - "I just want to stay here with you today'"

v - "I have an idea' How about you attend your research lab and I'll wait at our coffee spot next door"

j - "You will?"

v - "Why would I not? What is wrong with you Jeevs? Are you okay?"

j - "Yeah I'm fine" she said covering her eyes with her hands.

v - "What's going on?"

j - "I don't know"

v - "Okay stop stressing. I'll go get my laptop and you finish your stuff then we can leave. Do you need anything?"

j - "No thanks"

v - "Cheer up now" he said smiling and kissing her cheek.

They both gathered their belongings and left. Viren drove while Jeevika sat down next to him, silent. Viren somewhat had an idea on why she was quiet. He knew she was missing her family a lot right now.

v - "Jeevika?"

j - "Yeah"

v - "Do you want to go meet your family for a few weeks since you have some time off?"

Jeevika was a little stunned at how her husband knew her so darn well.

j - "No, it's fine"

v - "Why not? Bet you they all want to meet you too"

j - "Viren I thought the next time I'd go to meet my whole family, you'd come with me now that we're married too"

v - "I really want to go, but you know Veera. Plus I can't afford to leave work for so long"

Jeevika knew Viren was right, but for some reason she was a little hurt.

v - "But you should really go. I'm serious. I can get your ticket and you can go relax for a few weeks"

j - "No Viren. I'll just stay here. Plus the house is a mess and I could really use time to redo everything at home"

v - "But if you really want to, I think you should"

j - "No it's fine"

Viren reached the front of the research building and unlocked the car so Jeevika could get at.

v - "Call me when you're done"

j - "Okay, bye"

v - "Love you"

Jeevika smiled and left to go inside. Viren drove to the coffee shop down the street. He spent the next few hours there waiting for Jeevika to get free. He was thinking of the plans Virat was making for tonight. He decided to call them up.

v - "Veera where are you guys?"

veera - "We were going home. Where are you?

v - "Coffee shop. Who are you with?"

veera - "Everyone. Ma, Virat bhaiya, Manvi di, and Armaan. When are you coming home?"

v - "I'm waiting for Jeevika. I dropped her this morning, so I'll bring her back"

veera - "How about we come there. I'll tell Virat bhaiya and we'll see you in fifteen minutes"

v - "Okay cool"

They ended the call and Viren was waiting for his family to come now. In not so long everyone had reached the coffee shop. They were all sitting together combining tables and chairs. Soon enough Jeevika had come there to, walking there by herself. The whole family wished her a happy birthday and gave her hugs making her all happy again. They all ordered some coffee and relaxed there enjoying time together with the whole family.

v - "Jeevika why didn't you call me? I would have come picked you up?"

j - "It's okay. It's not like its far away"

veera - "Bhai where are we going tonight for dinner?"

v - "Ask Virat, he's the one who made the reservation"

virat - "Me? What are you talking about bhai. You said you were going to"

v - "You have got to be kidding me. I told you to make a reservation at that Japanese restaurant"

virat - "No you didn't"

While the two brothers were arguing the rest of the gang were just laughing. And out of them Veera who was sitting right in between Viren and Virat, was laughing probably the most.

veera - "These our my dumbo brothers everyone" 🤣

Jeevika, Manvi, Vanshika, and Armaan were all laughing at Veera's statement while Viren and Virat stared her down. Veera was feeling a little scared as she felt each brother was going to attack her from both sides.

v - "We're not going to get a reservation there tonight. Jeevika where else do you want to eat at?"

veera - " Bhabhi think of something good and expensive. Will make these two Vadhera brothers pay for all of us tonight"

j - "I have a better idea Veera" she said in a tone that made Viren a little scared"

veera - "Ohh seems like you have thought of something good to revenge my brothers. You know I really don't know how you both are the same blood as me. I'm so much more fun and mature and RESPONSIBLE than you both"

Both the brothers stared at her again giving her a death-look.

veera - "Bhabhi please go on before these devils eat me up"

j - "How about the brothers both have to cook dinner for the whole family tonight"

Everyone started laughing while the brothers looked at each other in despise.

v - "This is all your fault Virat"

virat - "Bhai, really?"

veera - "It doesn't get better than this. Okay chop chop Vadhera brothers, go and start buying groceries"

j - "Veera, I'm not done yet... I still have something else besides them cooking food"

Viren and Virat slapped their forehead at the same time.

veera - "Gosh I love you bhabhi. What else are you thinking"
