'SaraswatiChandra' was back on top of the UK ratings last night and what a splash it made! The Sanjay Leela Bhansali show has become one of the first UK Asian TV shows that has crossed the 300,000 mark.
According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, the show attracted 302,100 viewers last night at 19:30 in UK – peaking at 350,100 – the highest ever for any Asian show in the UK in recent times.
In second place was 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' (261,400) and 'Pyar Ka Dard Hai' was next with 216,300 viewers. The others in the pecking order were 'Veera' (214,500), 'MasterChef India' (171,900), 'Saathiya' (168,800), 'Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai' (152,300) and 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' (141,500).
