i have been following this show and still iam clueless what is asad's role..is he there just to provide a pretty face with some romantic scenes..iam really nt impressed with his role i had thought that his role will be the backbone of the story bt lately it doesnt seem so...sorry if i hurt anybody's sentiment nothing personal against the actor..

Well! The backbone means Asad is the lead role and is the connection between,Rashid, Dilshaad,Ayaan,Razia and Zoya. This is the story which are all inter related. This is a kind of love story. You get mainly a love story between Asad and Zoya. The very first scene it self is that Asad sees Zoya and is attracted to her in the darga. Remaining stories run parallel to each other. Finally how the 2 families and as well as the lovers come together. Hope this helps.
