Today's episode - The class & the crass

A superb episode tonight! Revealing in many ways both for SaMud side and Dugba-Guman angle.

The scenes between SaMud at the puja ghar were perfect! Classic! Kyun rokte ho mujhe? Tum kyun baar baar ruk jaati ho mere rokne pe? Mujhe jaane ko mat kaho jab hi kehti ho mujhe waapas aana padta hai!

So much communicated in those few lines and actors' expressions! That's SLB quality! And that's the awesomness of the writing of this show! Hats off team!

Now we understand more about Guman-Dugba angle but I feel it should have been accompanied by a flashback to make it more clear and elaborate.

Kumud's last dialogue - Koi cheez nahi hoon main! Super!!!!

I liked how Saras tried to keep patience and ease the uncomfortable situation that Guman was creating. I loved how he struck a balance between his respect to Guman and Dugba. Ideal Indian male!

Now the CRASS:

Yash's mom's drama was to much and too filmy. She is so OTT she crossed both Shashikala and Lalita Pawar in screaming vamps! Yuck!
Her words for that younger girl (can't recall name sorry) were shocking! Being a woman and being an elder member of the family how could she talk like that?

I feel it may be a sign of things to come too. Maybe she gets pregnant before marriage or something like that which brings disgrace to family?

But those words sucked!

Okay, hasn't Guman and her sister seen the haveli in past? The way her sister was marvelling at its castle-like quality she seemed to have seen it for the first time.

Guman and her sister's dialogues are trash and seem straight out of B grade saas bahu films of Jeetendra and Mithun from 80s! Their acting is too OTT and looks fake with all their effort to look evil.

All the impact created by SaMud interaction was diluted by this chochla tamasha of Yash's mom, Guman and her sister. It gets worse than Ekta's serials and makes me fear for the quality of the show.

Dugba's declaration that she won't be able to tolerate it if Kumud has to face similar fate as hers indicated that there was more drama in store once the truth of Saras' rejection came out.

The drama part of the show gets too OTT, filmy, loud and unbearable to the point of looking artificial and even animated at times. They must tone it down! Or else what will be the difference between a Kekta show and an SLB show?

Currently this show is treading on a tight rope. It has to keep the balance and never compromise on quality lest it ends up becoming a typical trashy saas bahu show! Kudos to actors and writers for the good parts of the episode though.
