I think Guman gave complaint to police through someone that Saras did Gau hatya.

If you observe Yash is in background so police came to arrest Saras for Gua hatya

Yash, mota bhabhi will put blame on Saras through daramatic acting

VC will become gunga because he promised mota bhabhi that Yash will never be punished for Gau hatya

So Saras has no one to help him except kumud as LNV phone not reachable.

Later on Guman will bring VC on road by auctioning his haveli. LNV will not help VC as he is angry at him for sending Saras to jail. SC will help VC hence Kumud and he will get close
