Yes this whole episode was funny humourous and in between when ASR looks at her the mirror and then when all are sitting his expression today had a lok of unbelievable and what is she upto now with lot of lol and rofls for the viewers

for a clear thought to enter us, sometimes we need all the clutter to be pushed aside first. and when that thought is an axiomatic truth, the world does go away, leaving us alone with it. to see it, feel it, touch it, maybe even understand it. khsuhi stood in this moment with the only things that mattered. him and her heart beat. traipsing, twirling, speeding, sparked, galvanized. all that mattered, only that mattered.👏👏

i couldn't help but recall him leaping over steps, racing toward her to prevent her from falling at the temple on teej day. how she galvanized him. one moment casually talking on the phone, next transfixed, then racing. and so he galvanized her, one moment talking to everyone, next riveted, and then racing inside her being.

this sparking of each other. someone who makes you feel suddenly different, more, alive, could this be love?

creatives had used a not too unique devise to beautiful effect. yesterday an errant tear had alerted her to gadbad. when she should have been happy, she had felt a funny sort of sadness. and then this morning when she'd wondered about her "friend" who was both happy and sad at the presence of a person, from darkness again a suggestion had come that would show light.

shyam had advised, "apni saheli se kahiye, ki woh dekhen jab woh yeh insaan ke kareeb hoti hain, tab unki dil ki dhadkan kaisi hoti hai... jabhi wo inke samne jaati hai, unka dhadkan tez hota hai kya?"

tell your friend to check her heart beat when she's near this person, when she's close to him, do her heart beats quicken? and if that's the case, it means only one thing. there's gadbad. not possible to translate this word into english i think, i'll settle for "trouble."

lawyerji had cottoned on to the fact that khushi spoke of herself that morning, but he had no clue that he himself was not the cause of trouble. that man stood here... just as unaware. men.

"yeh kya ho raha yaha...?" the gladiator had glided in, gorgeous in swept back hair style and pullover on shirt, forcing me to be alliterative. "koi na koi problem iss ghar mein hoti hi rahti hai... insaan peacefully kam bhi nahin kar sakta." his voice was abrupt, irritated. what's happening, there's always a problem, no one can work in peace around here.

peace? when you look like that you expect there to be any peace anywhere on earth? khushi... khushi? are you alright? where are you, khushi? and why are you looking so lost? can you hear me?

dhakdhak dhakdhak dhakdhak dhakdhak dhak... she looked around bemused, people's lips were moving, yet all she could hear was this strange, very strange beat. and then as she turned to look at him, all went dark.

darkness all around, and the darkest creature of the tale, we have both of these to thank for illuminating the moment. though khushi had no idea why her heart beat faster, she knew now it did. aisa kyun hota hai... a beautiful question has found its way into the tale.

shyam brought her the dil ki dhadkan message, anjali told asr about saansey ruk jaaygi, a terrible sadness when you think, two people who knew the signs of love so well, never could have it themselves. if only there were even one redeeming feature in shyam. but c'est la vie.

"chamkili!" huh?! la brings khsuhi out of her bemused reverie.

"gadbad hai?!!" khushi is lost in shyam's warning. "haan, gadbad to hui hai," yes there's been trouble (problem), avers la in a clever little ipk dialogue play.

the shot of the bowled over khushi was the first indication, and now it became clear, creatives were modulating tone of episode, taking us from a week and more of very intense drama to something lighter, quirky, fun, with an underlying sexiness and romance. it was there in the treatment of the dhak dhak introduction. but now we moved to pure sanak with the living goddess of it. yes the coming episodes so much more funny with lot of threats from ASR salary kaat donga half, full ,quarter leading to so many lighter romantic lol and rolf scenes

she niftily pointed toward the cause of trouble, the tulsi pot, and said to nani that the sacred plant was indeed not in its right place but lying there among the other plants. as all onlookers practically passed out at this information, each for her own reason, and the giver of htart gadbad looked completely disinterested, she turned and said, "arnavji, aapne paudhe ko wahan kyun rakha?" arnavji, why did you keep the plant there?

his expression went, "whhhaat?" most delightfully i must say, and in danced music, giggly and fun, the signature miss sanaka sound. here a thanks to raju singh, who apparently celebrated his birthday yesterday. ipk wouldn't be ipk without its music. and rabba vey was not the only thing that sticks in the mind. i was not overly fond of a couple of sentimental tracks, but otherwise, cool yet emotional notes. stay with you.😆😆

to give the man his due, he tried. he started to refute with a "mei-" but before he could complete his sentence, khushi winked at asr. yes, she did. at asr.

i was nonplussed, so was he. "what the-" almost completed itself through gritted teeth.


with big smile, intervened the nutcase "what nahin...pot... you kept the pot there with the rest of the pots... it's ok ok..."

"i can understand you don't know the difference between that pot and the other pots... happens happens"

everything was moving too fast for the gladiator... he was used to lions, not sanaka devi on a high. really, something of obelix after a swig of magic potion, in our khushi after a round of dhakdhak.🤣

"arre! you're still standing here..." and then the command to the man often called the mighty asr, "go and get the pot!"

in reply a smashing double o look.


"that's a place to bathe, the tulsi should be in the temple... remember next time." she has just given asr instructions on minding the tulsi pot. hey dm.

mami, nani, la, all shocked silent spectators.

he is about to burst with with anger, "dekho tum zyada..." see here, you better not-

obelix could never be stopped at such moments, nor our kkg, "theek hai theek hai, aapse galati ho gayi... it's alright, ok, you've made a mistake... naniji will forgive you... and dm won't mind also.."

di is beginning to get the drift. she always had a special vibe with khushi, and that nuttiness appeals to her too it seems.

asr is really a little slow on the uptake today, isn't he? possibly mind already blown looking at the mad woman intruding his thoughts.

"galati aap ne ki aur daant lavanyaji ko pad rahi hai...," khushi, frustrated with his not getting it, presents the reason for this ruse, dragging la into the frame... you made the mistake but la is getting the scolding...

ah, at last, the man comprehends.

but before he can react, one more wink.

"aur aap ho ke apne galati hi nahin maan rahe ho... kaise insaan hain aap!" and look at you, not owning up, what sort of a person are you?

he looks at la, and accepts, yes i kept the plant there by mistake.

everyone is astounded. especially the lady of the winks. as everyone goes their own way, he stands for a moment looking at her. what's in his gaze? dhakdhalk dhakdhak. mercury movement from fun to something gripping. she never thought he will respond😆


everything can't be explained. certainly not that about to say something but what backward glance even as he leaves.


sanaya was spectacular and in total sanaka form with a series of expressions as beguiling and nutty as his were hot and hotter. yep I love this scene and this episode watch it ant number of times loved your description INDI


89 was certainly an episode of expressions. perfectly pitched and timed. and the chemistry of the two was just as sharp in comedy as it is in romance. in fact, even in the midst of situational humour, there was always that awareness, that pull between the two. mark of a real "jodi," no matter what the mood of the moment, the vibe never leaves.

she was about to say something when suddenly her heart began pounding and before you knew it, gladiator was there... di, my laptop charger?

she gazed at him... and inevitably his eyes found her. the sweet beginnings of something here, otherwise that completely ott sound effect of heartbeat would have me turn the tv off. but again the acting, and emoting, how it never failed. the instincts have found each other and got together... now gut heart mind the rest of them start the journey. that tear and his silent long look in the office were perhaps the starting points of this new phase.

she actually rubs her ears... the sound of heart beat in it.

his eyes ask, "what?" almost gentle, quizzical.

"chamkili!"... for the second time la calls her back to reality.

... he is still puzzled by her worried, blown expression, a little eye talk then he leaves. that "unbelievable," "whatever" look in his eyes.

this means my heart pounds fast if i go close to laad gov and also if i move away from him... which means there's no trouble. oh and i've been fasting, this must be acidity and "sour burps," so there's no trouble. oh dm, for my acidity i give you many thanks.

dhakdhak = acidity as in khatti dakar. q.e.d.

just love this acidity phase and how Sanaka Devi thinks that her hunger is playing mind games with her lovely collage

stars gleam down on a man with a quest in his eyes...

there's talk of stars and romance, a skeptical asr smiles dismissively, while shyam dares to dream. and shyam who had introduced the idea of dil ki dhadkan that morning, finishes his day's work by mentioning that some people believe those who die become stars.

in a flash asr is transported to a place under the stars, where a girl with tears sparkling in her eyes had told him about her parents, how she believed to this day her parents have become stars in the firmament. over to the girl, there she sits among her stars, thinking of exactly the same conversation...

while the general air of episode was one of humour and romance, a little yearning too, with touching cut aways to payal feeling terrible about her marriage plans ruining babuji's health and happiness, there was a scene most vicious and ugly. shyam flung sindoor by the fistful at khushi's picture. felt like filth being thrown on her. like violation taking place. something ominous in it.

I can understand what you feel about your soul sister. I have a very good friend and colleague who usually goes through lot of suffering just to move ahead one step in life. But that should not deter one.Two years ago she adopted a baby but she could not care for the child as she was refused leave.. the head of our institution told her that she would not be allowed maternity leave as it was meant for biological mothers only. When she applied for child adoption leave she was refused again! In the twenty first century that is how a "mother" was discriminated from other mothers! You cant imagine the humiliation she had to go through! She was naturally depressed and wanted to give up but I refused to accept this as her fate. So we petitioned, mustered support in this fight for justice and finally won after a long battle of two years! She was granted child adoption leave on the lines of maternity leave. I think egging her on, is the only good thing I have done in my life. Our destiny is in our hands. Anjali destiny was not that creep Shyam. Once she accepted that she chucked him out of her life. No wonder we feel that there should have been a 'Anjali as the maker of her own destiny track' !

Felt so sorry for your friend.Thank God that she finally got what she deserves. And definitely it's a proud moment for you too, coz you helped her a lot in her battle.

My sister's misery is given by God. God blessed her with two autistic children. I said she is blessed, coz her children are just two angel and I love them like anything. I'm very much active in different autism related organization. In her struggle life her husband deceived her also. But fortunately he came back to her. But just imagine her situation, she couldn't leave him either becoz of her children.

I see my sister's pain everyday, so that I really feel bad for Anjali.

We just don't know why God sometimes does injustice to good people.

This is one episode which I watch again and again. My comments in blue and liked how you compared Khushi to Obelix 😆😆 her Sanakapan all revealed to ASR and he finds it so refreshing lovable unbelievable whatever 😆 but he is totally mesmerised puzzled with her new avataar.loved all the colored parts the bold ones and underlined extra.Again like the selection of the pictures. snakewa did help ASR and Khushi he is the cupid in so many ways if he knew what all he was instrumental I would have loved one such realisation scene when he comes to know

This is one of the heart wrenching episode of IPK. When It was first aired I remembered I cried my heart out to see Khushi's pain. Till now everytime I watch the episode I can't keep my tears. I love Khushi so much. Like Arnav I also can't see her in pain.

Khushi is desperate to reunite Arnav and La by hook or by crook. Right now she doesn't care what Arnav said or the consequences. So she is ready to sacrifice anything. She thinks what possibly can make ASR touched. Yes plants, this is the one thing ASR loves most.So she decides to buy lot of plants to make ASR happy.But where can she get money.She is exiguous in this matter.She decides to sell her mom's bangles, wht is the only precious thing she owns. Her feelings for ASR is so strong that she intends to sacrifice her mom's nissani for the sake of Arnav. (pause: it's always disturb me that her sacrifice never came in front of Arnav. I wish if he could see this angel's pure heart, whom he insulted so much in innumerable times.)

ASR is also perturbed, not only for the La fiasco, but I guess for the whole events that happened in fast few days. It sure didn't go unnoticed by Akash. He suggests him to take a break. But ASR as usual hides his turmoil, refuses his proposal,'I'm alright."

When ASR comes to his cabin he finds his room is full of plants and a note with the plants " I love you ASR. I'm sorry. If you don't come to fetch me I'll give up my life". Doesn't it sound Khushi's words? I think ASR also gets who did this and and wrote that letter. Moreover the note is written in HIndi. What can he do now. Riot of emotions are engulfing him. he sits down on his chair and ebbs down in thought, only khushi's words, "did you ever love her?" and her tears, her disheartened face, All are reverberating in his mind,"why I can't bear tears in her eyes." ASR wants to deny his feelings. But no avail, her pain, her words, her tears are so overpowering that defeats his ego and makes him to do whatever she wants. he sure will go to get back La, not for La, but to make Khushi happy.

Babuji is trying hard to find out Shyam's true motives.Slither guy already suspected something and changed Rani Saheba's number. So when babuji's calls her, somebody else's receives the call. Shyam concocted a fake a rani saheba who gives Sashiji a wrong vibe about Shyam,"he is a very good lawyer and a good person." Babuji should suspect that why she is willingly praising shyam so much. shyam is trying hard to get Khushi surreptitiously.

Nani is smart. she senses something happened during her absences. She asks Mamiji whether they are conspiring to get back La or not. Mami mockingly says "if you are not here then how something can happen!" mami is scared of nani, but whenever she gets chance she doesn't forget to taunt her MIL.

khushi is trying to agree La to stay back. But La is obdurate this time. I think she really moves on. there is not a little sign of sadness in her behavior. Khushi is assuring her that ASR will come. Suddenly La's face grins with a smile. Yes he is here. She runs to ASR and embraces him. ASR takes time to respond to her gesture. He nonchalantly hugs her back, I agree with Anita that the hug is really robotic. Kushi first get exulted to see him, but when she realises her man is in another woman's embrace, tears starts falling from her eyes involuntarily. She tries to feel her tears, is it real? It seems a caustic pain is smouldering her. It seems someones bereaves her most precious possession. ASR pulsates in bewilderment,"why she is sad to see him hugging La?". there is astonishment in his expression, why she is crying? BG music intensifies the scene. Khushi leaves the place with an excruciating pain in her heart. ASR still stunned to see her reaction.

There is a preparation of Navratri's pooja going on in RM. ASR enters RM with La when rest of the family is gathered for the Arti. Anjali's happiness knows no bound to see La back. But nani is not happy at all. Shyam admonishes her to say anything. Nani suggests to start the pooja, but ASR doesn't join them. Right now he needs some isolation to think about Khushi.

There is parallel scene, where everybody are doing arti both in RM and in GH . When khushi faces DM, she can't hide her anguish, " why I'm restless, why I'm not happy to see ASR with La, where I tried so hard to reunite them." she tries to console herself, "Lavanyaji was so happy " .but her mind is still whirling with her conflicting feelings .At the same time ASR also is in a vortex of thought. the scene of Khushi's crying face keeps reverberating in his mind.

In the morning, Anjali offers Arnav a tilak, but Arnav refuses her with a grumpy face. He looks more annoyed, as if La' return is bothering him. When Anjali gets sad mami tries to cheer her up, "don't expect too much. He already fulfilled one of your wish by bringing La back. Now wait until the next station comes." La asks her when the station of marriage will come. It seems Khushi brainwashed La very well.Mami says in her sarcastic way, it will come day after tomorrow and then in the final station Akash will get engaged to a pretty girl. nani intervenes her,"there is no guarantee". Mami got a little frantic,"how the final station will come if somebody stops the train in between." Mami is really funny! Nani is still acrimonious to La, "chote sure brought you, but I'll see he will marry you or not!" mami tries to divert nanis attention, "let's arrange a satsang in the evening." But Nani refuses, coz she wants to clean up the mandir. Mami suggests her to approbate the job to La. Mami is tring La to impress nani. Nani is obdurate,"after the mishap with Laxmi, I can't rely on Ms. Kashyap.." Anjali tells La that she will call Khushi again, coz she always prevents her to do mistakes.

Khushi is very delirious. first she is looking for the coconut where the coconut is already in her hand, and next she drinks Payal's tea and gives Payal an empty tray.The scene of Arnav hugging La incessantly is coming to her mind. She trickily asks Payal about her condition. But Payal's brain always remains in vacation(thanks Arshi to point it out) .So it's obvious she doesn't have the answer. Sly Shyam got all the clever answers. He intervenes and suggests Khushi to do a test, by. He tells her to check her friend's heartbeat whenever she comes near to the person..If she finds out that her heartbeat is irregular, it means something is wrong. Shyam indirectly helps Khushi to test her feelings for Arnav. The pondering point is that, Shyam's words or actions always helps both Arnav and Khushi to get close to each other. like last time he helped Arnav to say sorry to Khushi. Shyam thinks Khushi's strange feelings is for him. I wish he would know this feelings is not for him, but for his sale saheb! All of his teeth would fall down by excessive grinding for sure.🤣

Anjali is extra delectable today. Coz her bro is not lonely any more, La is still there in his life.She thinks her bro is in true love and his changed behavior is the result of his true love. Akash also agrees her.Yes Anjali you are absolutely right, your bro is doing all for the sake of his true love, but the true love is not La, but Khushi. Anjali also teased Akash. but shy guy Akash evades her questions and flees.

La is satisfied with her job of cleaning the mandir. she is enthusiastically showing nani how she keeps all the necessary elements for the pooja. But we know how erroneous La is! First she infuriates nani by mentioning Kumkum and sindoor as powder. Next,when nani asks her about the rose water, she tells her that she keeps it in her room, coz she wants to use it for dark circles. When nani asks her to get it back she asks her whether she needs for her dark circle or not. That exasperated nani even more.when finally she notices that the most sacred Tulsi plant is missing she fumes like a fire.

La you are dead!

khushi is experienced a new feelings for Arnav today.She is too hurt to see Arnav with another girl. She doesn't know what is it, but she sure wishes her LG with her.
