rumpu the story's title indicates i have to show pairings...this story is not abt chandu's adventure its abt his growing new feelings along with his friends..until he notices the presence of romance in his friends discussion its impossible 4 him to be aware of his own feelings
ye baat aur hai k maine chandu se romance se jyada fight karwayi..isiliye sabko misunderstanding ho gaya k ye chota chandu aur uske gang k adventure k story hai😆

PART-37

In Durdhara's Room

Durdhara was sitting near the window , lost in deep thoughts..keeping her left arm on a stand..suddenly a tickle on her left elbow trembled her out of shock..and being conscious see found a white pigeon sitting on her left elbow carrying a rolled paper around its neck..the pigeon courier at last reached..
She hurriedly picked up the bird and untie the letter..and started reading it..her face brightened as she reads the letter..she picks up the pigeon and kissed it and released it on the blue sky..
"Subhadra , Subhadra"..shouts Durdhara

Subhadra enters running..

Subhadra (tensed) : kya hua rajkumari?

Durdhara hold her hands and started moving round in a dance step..Subhadra got astonished..

Subhadra : rajkumari kya hua ?? humein bhi to batao ye akasmik nritya k karan kya hai??

Durdhara waves the letter in front of Subhadra's eyes..Subhadra understands the reason of princess's joy..her face also glows

Subhadra ; Dhara kya kumar ka sandesh aya hai?? kya likha hai?? vo sab sakushal hai na??unke uddeshya safal to hua??

Durdhara : are Subhadra shant ho jao..Chandragupt ne likha hai bhrata Shreematididi ko leke kuch hi samay mein rajdhani pohuchte hi honge..chalo chalke mata aur pita ko suchit karte hai..

Subhadra (smiling): Dhara..ye patra yuvraj ne nhi Chandragupt ne likha hai??tabhi to soche k Maharaj k purv yuvraj ka sandesh rajkumari tak kaise pohuch gaye..

Durdhara couldn't get Subhadra's indication..
Durdhara (confused) : Bhadra tum kehna kya chahte ho..

Subhadra (having a naughty smile) : vo tum kuch samay mein swayam samajh jaogi..acha ye kaho k yuvraj k anya sab mitro bhi surakshit hai na??

Durdhara : unke vishay mein to koi ullekh nhi hai..iske arth sab thik hi honge..kintu tum itne chintit kyun dikhai de rahe ho

Subhadra : vo Sukant

Durdhara (confused) :Sukant !..tum Sukant k liye chinta kar rahe ho?? kintu kyun?

Subhadra (controlling herself)..nhi hum to bas yunhi jiggasa kar rahe the...chaliye rajkumari maharaj ko suchit karte hai..

Subhadra almost ran to hide her embarrassment ..Durdhara was stunned to hear Sukant's name on Subhadra's mouth but Subhadra's behavior looked very familiar to Durdhara..because somehow in her mind also same kind of feelings were blossoming..she opens the letter once again , looks at Chandragupta's handwriting an whispers

On The Way of Panchnad

Kalyani was on her way to Panchnad ..it takes 5 days from Avisar to Panchnad..she was still 2 days away from her kingdom..she received a pigeon courier from Chandragupt soon after Chandragupt left Masasaga that Alexander soon will march for Panchnad..she was worried that she had to reach her kingdom soon..she also got to know from pigeon messenger of Panchanad that acharya chanakya left Panchnad 2 days back and went to Sakala crossing Jhelum..does that mean Chanakya also thinks that Greek force are irresistible for her father ??..Kalyani becomes tensed..his only goal was to reach to Panchnad and to stand by her father and brothers..
suddenly the leader soldier of her company warned everyone of her troop..

Soldier : sab satark ho jao..Gandhar senao k ek bahini dikhai de rahe hai..unke dristi rajkumari pr nhi padhna chahiye

Kalyani (shocked) : Gandhar Sena yahan..parantu kyun??

Soldier : rajkumari kadachit ye humare rajya panchnad k disha mein hi ja rahe hai..humein bhay hai k yeh bhi yavan sena ko Panchnad akraman mein sahayata karna chahte hai..aur humare adhikansh sena panchanad k liye purv hi prasthan kar chuke hai..hum keval binsh-panchvinsh sainik us vipul bahini k marg rudh karne mein asamarth hai

Kalyani (scared) : to ab hum kya karenge??

Soldier : rajkumari humare nikat ek hi upay hai ...k hum aapko dusre path se panchnad pohuchaye..kintu vo path durgam aur parvatsankul hai ..hum itne sare sainik ek sath nhi ja payenge kintu us marg se adhik drutta se panchnad pohucha ja sakte hai...isi karan mustimeya sainik aapke sahit panchnad pohuchke panchnad k bahini ko suchit karenge.aur hum inke anusaran karke inke gatibidhi pr drasti rakhenge..aur panchnad k dwar pr pohuchke apne sena se milke inhe badha dan karenge..

Kalyani : uchit hai to aur vilamb na karo aur humein us marg se panchnad le chalo

thus only 5 soldiers accompanied Kalyani in the mountainous short-cut of Panchnad and and rest 20 soldiers followed the Gandhar's troop with a safe distance..but after going a distance Kalyani and her soldiers had to stop to see 3 Gandhar soldiers in front of them..Gandhar soldiers also recognized Panchnad soldiers and attacked on them..and the narrow way become a battle field..Kalyani's chariot driver managed to flee from the attack..when her other soldiers got busy to stop Gandhar soldiers to reach to their princess..

Kalyani (horrified) : Saarthi shighra karo..humein shighratishighra Panchnad pohuchna hai...
her chariot driver made his best effort but yet the chariot had to stopped..

Kalyani (scared) : Saarthi kya hua?? rath kyun rok dia??

Saarthi (frightened) : rajkumari ..Gandhar Naresh Ambhik

following his finger's point Kalyani got stunned to see Ambhik sitting on a rock..his horse was standing near him..Kalyani understood King of Gandhar also had used this short cut to reach panchanad to lead his troop..but she got confused to see him siiting on the mid of his way..and then she noticed Ambhik's hand was bleeding profusely..
after getting defeated by Chandragupta Ambhik started for Panchanad with his 3 soldiers ..his troop had already on the way in his order.but his hand got terribly injured when he was about to fall from the cliff..so he was unable to horseriding continuously..to check his wound he stopped his horse..
the saarthi tried to drive chariot as Ambhik didn't notice them but kalyani stopped them and comes down from chariot..

Saarthi : rajkumari mat jaiye..Gandhar naresh aapke shatru hai..

Kalyani : Saarthi tum kuch dur jake humare pratiksha karo..humein rin parishodh karna hai..

She takes her medicine and goes near Ambhik..sensing someone near him Ambhik's hand automatically goes to his sword but looking at Kalyani..he put his sword down

Ambhik (confused) : Panchnad kumari!!! yahan??(then gazing something) ohh to aap bhi is shnuripath se apne rajya mein pohuchne k prayas kar rahe hai..tabhi soche k humare sathi sainik ab tak humare nikat kyun nhi pohucha.kadachit panchnad sena k akraman k pratyuttar dene mein vyast hai (mocking)

Kalyani (narrowed her eyes) : akraman Gandhar sena ne kia hai..aur aap akraman k baat kar rahe hai?? jabke aapke vishal sena yavan sena se milke humare rajya akraman karne k liye yatra kar chuke hai??

Ambhik (still mocking) : ohh to apko bhi iska gyan hai?? to aap yahan samay kyun nasht kar rahe hai..jaiye jaiye aapke pita ko aapke avashyakta hai..

Kalyani : humare pita atmaraksha mein swayam samarth hai ..au humein unke sahayata karnke liye aapke paramarsh k pratiksha nhi hai..hum to keval yahan aapna rin parishodh karne aye hai..

Ambhik (confused) : Rin?? kaunse rin??

Kalyani : Rajpur mein yudhkala pratiyogita k din hum aswaprishtha se bhupatit ho gaye the aur aapne humare sahayata kiye the..aur hum aapne pita aur apne desh k shatru k rin nhi rakhna chahte
( though on that day to help Durdhara kalyani was pretending to fall from horse but she actually slipped and got injured..while Ambhik carried and helped her..)
Kalyani without telling a word more started tending Ambhik's hand..Ambhik tried to pull his hand

Ambhik : humein panchnad kumari k sahayata k avashyakta nhi hai..

Kalyani : aapke naam Ambhik nhi Dambhik hona chahite tha...itne raktpat ho rahe hai kintu phir bhi dambh kam hone k naam nhi lete..

Kalyani's words amused Ambhik ..he didn't say anything and let kalyani tending his hand..after his bleeding stopped...Kalyani bandaged the wound applying medicine on that..and she was about to leave..and suddenly Ambhik stopped her holding hand

Ambhik : Kalyani ek baat kehna chahte hai..tum aapne crur pita se sampurn viparit ho..kintu itna sahriday hona bhi uchit nhi hai.

Kalyani : aap kehna kya chahte hai ?

Ambhik : tumhari achai humare marg mein badha utpann kiya tha..tumhare Chandragupt k sahayata k karan hum Abhisar ko apne paksh mein lane mein vyarth rahe..hum yeh bhule nhi hai rajkumari..aur tumhe iska uttar bhi avashya milega

Kalyani : kya karna chahte hai aap..

Ambhik (smirks) : yeh to tum Panchnadko parast karne k uprant hi dekh paoge..tumhe tumhare sahayata aur sahridayta k uttar bhi milega aur hum apna pratishodh bhi pura karenge..

Kalyani remained utterly confused..Ambhik gives a proud smile

Ambhik : jao rajkumari jao..Panchnad ko tumhari avashyakta hai..

and he himself rides on his horse and leaves the place..

Kalyani (thinks): Gandhar naresh humse kya karwana chahte hai?jo mere sahayata k uttar bhi hoga aur pratisodh bhi
with this thought she also leaves the place for panchnad with her chariot

Ambhik reaches where gandhar and panchnad soldiers were ffighting..he orders Gandhar soldiers to retreat and leaves the place for Panchnad..panchnad soldiers also followed Kalyani's chariot

Ambhik (smirks and thinks) : hum rajkumari Durdhara ko hum apne kutnaiik shakti k liye to vyavhar na kar paye kintu ab humare ye uddeshya rajkumari Kalyani puran karegi..Panchnad jay k uprant acharya Shukdev ko hum apne is yojna k prastav Sikandar aur Parvateswar k sammukh mein rakhne ko kahenge..

"Kalyani tumne barbar humare marg mein badha utpann karke humare yojnao ko vyarth kia..iska dand tumhe ajiban bhog karna padega"
he murmurs
and then leaves for Panchnad

On the Gate of Rajpur

the whole capital had been gathered on the gate of Rajpur to welcome their future queen along with their future king..
" Yuvraj Digvijay k jay"
"yuvrani Shreemati k jay"
"Maharaj Abhisar k jay"
"veerta ki mishal Chandragupt k jay"
only these sounds were weaving in the air...this joy is not only for the upcoming wedding of their prince but the bigger happiness is prince and his friend Chandragupt made the whole kingdom free from the nightmare of the foreign invasion ..they now won't have to meet the fate of their neighbourhood kingdoms like Pushkalavati , Kath and Masasaga..and also their prince had been announced as ruler of Kamboja..so their happiness crossed all limits ..the king had been announced month long festival in whole Abhisara..

Digvijay-Shreemati , Chandragupt and all his friends were welcomes with rain of flowers...Digvijay holding Shreemati's hand stepped towards King and Queen

Digvijay : Pita , Mata hum kshama chahte hai k hum aapko bina suchit kiye hi is aviyan mein chale gaye ..kintu hum vivash the..aap iske liye humein chahe jo bhi dand de..kintu Shreemati ko kuch na kehna..isse purv hi vo baht dukh sehn kar chuki hai

Chandragupt (hurriedly) : maharaj ismein yuvraj k koi dosh nhi hai..hum hi ne to mana kiye the

King Abhisar (smiling) : humein Durdhara se sabkuch gyat ho gaya..aur humein apne putra k prem aur mitrata k shakti pr bhi viswas ho gaya..

Maharani (touching Shreemati's face) : aur humein itne sundar putravadhu k prapti jo hua hai..hum kya apne santan se krodhit reh sakte hai??

tears rolls from Shreemati's cheek..Digvijay smiles in relax..Chandragupt gives a respectful look to Durdhara..Durdhara lowers her gaze..Chitra who was thoroughly noticing them got jealous..

Durdhara comes near to her brother and sister in law with puja thali in hand

Durdhara : humne kaha tha na aapne bhabi ma ko sarbpratham hum hi varan karenge..
she does aarti of both Digvijay and Shreemati..puts tilak on their head..and then hugs both of them together .giving the thali to Subhadra's hand

Digvijay : Dhara hum is prithvi k sabse soubhagyaban bhrata hai jo humein tujh jaise bhagini k prapti huye hai

Durdhara : aapse adhik soubhagyabati hum hai jo humein aap jaise bhrata hi nhi ..Shreemati didi jaise bhabi k prapti huye hai..

Shreemati : Dhara aajse tum humare bhi bhagini ho..

then Digvijay and Shreemati touch King and Queens feet for blessings..King hugged his son..queen hugged Shreemati

Abhisar : aaj humare putra aur kanya ne humare hriday garv se bhar diya..

crowd shouted "Jau yuvraj Digvijay k jai" ,"jai maharaj abhisar k jai"
Digvijay does a gesture to make them silent and turned to Chandragupta

Digvijay : is jai jaikar pr yadi kisika adhikar hai to vo hai humare mitra Chandragupta..jis pr Bharatvarsh k bhavishya nirvarshil hai..yadi Chandragupt Sikandar ko samjhane mein asamarth rehta to aaj hum sab yavan k karagar mein rehte aur Abisar k dasha bhi Pushkalvati aur Kath jaisa hota..

crowd shouted again " Jai veerta k misaal Chandragupt k jai"

Chandragupt : Digvijay humne mitra hone ka kartavya k palan kia hai.yadi jai jaikar karnahi hai to acharya Chanakya k naam k karo..humin apne kartavya k bodh to unhi se hua

crowd shouted again " jai Takshshila k mahan shikshak acharya Chanakya k jai"

Digvijay (turning to Durdhara) : Dhara Chandragupt k karan aaj tumhare bhrata aur tumhare rajya surakshit hai.. uske tilak samman nhi karogi??

Durdhara (blushed) : avashya bhrata

Chitra along with Maya reached with puja thali to welcome Chandragupt..but her feet glued to see Durdhara stepping forward to Chandragupt to do aarti..her eyes got teary

Chitra (thinking) : humein kabse isi kshan k pratiksha tha k Chandragupt k aarti hum utarenge ur is rajkumari ne humare sapney aise nast kar diya? Rajkumari barbar aise hi humare adhikar nhi chin sakte..

Durdhara blushingly looked at Chandragupta..and did his aarti and put tilak on his forehead..Chandragupta felt all he waited for this moment only..he wished this moment not to pass soon..with all the deepness of his heart he looked at Durdhara's eyes..Durdhara immediately lowered her gaze..

Durdhara : tumhe dhanyabaad dene k liye mere nikat shabd nhi raha Chandragupt..

Chandragupt : mat karo mere dhanyabaad..dhanyabaad mujhe tumhara karna chahiye mujh par itna viswas karne k liye..

Durdhara shyly smiled..and then she noticed Chitra with pooja thali was returning back..

Durdhara : are Chitra..kya hua kahan ja rahe ho..Chandragupt k tilak nhi karogi kya??

Maya (also surprised to see Chitra returning back) : han Chitradidi aapne bhrata k liyehi to puja kiya tha..

Chitra couldn't go back any more..her feet were not willing still she managed to come near with teary eyes did his aarti and tilak..Chandragupt considered her tears as a result of her worry..he gently wiped her tears and cup her face on palms

Chandragupt : Chitra kya hua?? hum thik hai tum krandan kyun kar rahe ho?

Chitra (managing to control herself) : koi baat nhi Chandragupt tum laut aye ho na..isse adhik khushi k baat humare liye kya hoga

Chandragupt's all frieds were observing the whole situation and smiling throughoutly sensing what actually is going on..

Maya comes and hugs Chandragupta..Akshay was standing near with not so happy face..

Chandragupt : Akshay kya hua?? tum dukhi pratit ho rahe ho..

Akshy : Chandragupt hum tumhare is aviyan k ansh nhi ban paye isse adhik dukh k baat mere liye kya hoga.

Chandragupt : kshama karna vandhu..paristhiti kuch aisa tha..kintu ab hum tumhe vachan dete hai..k aajke aschad kisi bhi aviyan mein hum tumhare bina nhi rahenge..

Akshay : satya vandhu?

Chandragupt : acharya k shapath..

Akshay hugged Chandragupt..all other friends hugged them too..
Durdhara steps toward Shashank

Durdhara : bhrata Shashank aapne ek vaid nhi ek bhrata k bhati mera khyal rakha..isi karan hum aapke sath bhrata aur bhagini k sambandh jodna chahte hai..
aapko sweekar hai na??

Shashank : rajkumari humare koi bhagini nhi hai kintu hum pratham dibas se hi aapko apna bhagini mana hai..aapke bhrata kehlana humare liye soubhagya k baat honge..
Durdhara does aarti of Shashank..Shashank touched her head to bless her..

Dakshita : bas itna smaran rakhna tumhare is bhrata ko bhojan k prati atyant prem hai.aur tumhe unke kshudha shant karne k dayittwa lena padega..

everyone burst into laughter

Shashank (offended) : dekho Dakshita tum humein aise apman nhi kar sakte..

Dakshita : acha satya kehna apman kar na hota hai kya??

Chandragupt : are bas bhi karo tum dono..chalo rajbhavan Digvijay aur Shreemati k pratiksha kar rahe hai..

Durdhara : aur veerta k misaal k bhi..
and she smiles blushingly

Chandragupt felt amazed...Chitra feels jealous and annoyed..

Chitra (thinking) : ye rajkumari itne nirlajja kyun hai..Chandragupt se aise baat karna kya use shobha dete hai?

Subhadra with puja thali comes near to Sukant..Sukant feels amused..

Sukant : aho bhagya humara..tum humara tilak karne aye ho..

Subhadra (trying to hide her feelings) : Rajkumari k sakhi hone k karan rajkumar k mitron k tilak karna humara kartavya hai..

Sukant (giving a naughty smile) : to hum is kartavya k palan mein kasdapi vadha nhi denge..

Subhadra does aarti to Sukant and applies tilak to him and was about to move ..Sukant suddenly holds her hand..Subhadra becomes embarrassed and looked at him..but she for few moments becomes lost in Sukant's intense glare at her..

Airavat moved from the crowd for going to Subahu shresthi's house to meet Sumitra..and suddenly some familiar voice made him stunned..

he turned and shocked to see his father standing next to him along with Subahu shreshthi and Sumitra

Airavat : pitashree aap yahan..kaise??

King Abhisar comes to them..

Abhisar : putra Airavat..tum sab k Masasaga aviyan k paschad hi Subahi shreshthi humare nikat aye aur tumhare aur Sumitra k vishay mein humein sabkuch kaha..humne tatkal hi tumhare pita ko sandesh bheja..apne putra aur putravadhu ko apne rajya le jane k liye..

Airavat (turning to his father) : pitashree humein kshama kar dijiye..humare karan aapko baht hi kasht uthana pada..

Aairavat's father : jab putri Sumitra aur Subahu shreshthi ne timhe kshama kar diya to humare kshama na karne k to prashna hi nhi uthte..

Airavat touched Subahu shresthi's feet..Subahu blessed him..

Airavat : humen kshama karne k liye dhanyabad pitashree..

Subahu : humein to keval humare kanya k sukh chahiye tha..aur Sumitra k sukh uske swami hai..

Airavat : hum vachan dete hai hum Sumitra ko sarvada sukhi rakhenge..

he looks at Sumitra ..Sumitra comes and does Tilak to him..and smiles at him..Airavat smiles back ...

Aditya (to Ghanghor) : dekha mitra..sabko tilak karne k liye koi na koi hai koi na koi kanya upasthit hai..aur humare bhagya mein..keval hi shunyata..

Ghanghor : kya kare bhagwan abtak humare aarti karne wale ko preran hi nh i kiya..

and then only
"putra Aditya"
Aditya turns and stunned to see his family

Aditya : are aaplog Gandhar se kab aye..

Aditya's mother : are hum tumhare liye ek susambad laye hai putra isi karan tumhare gandhar lautne k pratiksha nhi kar sake..

Aditya (confused) : aisa kya susambad hai??

Aditya's father : putra humne tumhara vivah sthir kar diya...humare prativeshi k kanya Ketki se??

Aditya and all other friends : kya?????????

Aditya's mother : aur hum to use sath bhi laye hai..putri Ketki...

they turn and everyone saw a sweet girl around 14-15 comes with puja thali near Aditya..

Aditya's mother : putri Aditya k tilak karo

Ketki does Aditya's aarti and applies Tilak..Aditya was completely speechless in this sudden turn of his life..so he couldn't react..

Ghanghor : chalo mitron akhir tumhe bhi tilak karne wali mil ho gaye..hum hi keval akele reh gaye..

Shashank : Ghanghor chinta na kar tujhe bhi koi na koi mil hi jayenge..

and al friends started giggling..Akshay confusingly tried to ask something..but watching all his friend's annoyed glare at him he chose to remain silent..Aditya at last managed to smile at Ketki..ketki lowered her gaze in shyness..

King Abhsar : hum aaj Rajmahal mein ek bhojsabha k ayojan kiya hai us khushi k pal ko dirghayit karne k liye..chalo aur vilamb na karo..

now everyone felt that they are really feeling hungry..and Chandragupt . his friends and all guests left for Royal palace
