Its difficult to understand these two complicated characters, Saras and Kumud and as I try to do so I may be wrong. The precap has made me restless and thats the reason I am writing this post.. Unfortunately I cant take a flight to Ratnagiri like Saras and get hold of these two..shake them up and ask them what is the matter?
Saras- This man has been kept devoid of love, affection and attachment for major part of life, precisely after his mother's death. That void has never been able to fill up.. He seems like this lonely lost soul confined in golden cage who has been given food and water to drink to survive but no love to live. He found solace in following his mothers principles as the only way to stay connected with her.Praying to god, donating money to the poor, observing fasts, learning and talking about spirituality and salvation was the only channel of his emotions. This is how he thought he would live when suddenly he is blinded by a spark ..So powerful and magnetic was the aura around the girl walking towards him that he couldn't help take notice. The svelte frame and tinkling of the kamarbandh had him in trance. Her voice was like strong and sweet whiplash that bore through his soul. He was instantly attracted to this illusive voice and he was drawn. That attraction has only grown stronger and deeper by each day as he he got to see her face and slowly got to know her as a person. Here is this beautiful girl who physically attracts him to extents he had never comprehended..the allure of her beauty is irresistable and unbelievable at times. He longs to see her, touch her and feel her..her charm and beauty is magnetic! The allure of her personalilty is even bigger..her righteousness, her never say die spirit, her boldness and her ability to give without expectations is even more impressive. He never wanted to marry and never thought about an ''ideal'' life partner but if he ever had this is what he would want her to be. When he finds out that this dream of a woman has feelings for him, he is shocked beyond imagination. Her love for him, her protectiveness for him and her determination to support him in the most difficult of times has him in a tizzy now. Like someone who has been starved of love for years is suddenly showered with so much love and affection that he is not able to gather and comprehend it. He questions if he actually deserves her.. ? He has been trying to convince himself and her that he came to India, took the blame, is doing the prayashcit out of guilt for hurting her, which is not true. He is doing everything because he has feelings for her ..Sooner or later he will realise it..
I dont know what is in the letter he handed over to Kumud and why they were in tears. I know that no matter what comes between them, they have already reached the point of no return.
Quoting Saras from an early episode '' Agar ab ruk gaya tau kabhi nahi ja paunga'' Its been weeks since then and he still hasnt been able to move away from her.. He should ask himself why?
P.S - Too exhausted to write about Kumud..Phew! Will write later :P
