First by not informing LNV when Saras took blame of Gau hatya on himself and got punished. Saras was a guest in VC house and hence VC has duty to inform LNV what happened with his son.

VC kept quiet although he knows Yash has run away and allowing Saras to undergo punishment on behalf of Yash his nephew just to save his family prestige and he promised mota bhabhi that Yash will not be punished

Lets see how he reacts to Saras arrest- i think illaben knows saras is innocent now and will refuse to file complaint in police station and tell saras to go back to VC house and forgive her for misbehaving with him. But by that time LNV will come to know Saras put in jail and VC quiet and which father in this world will be quiet if he knows such thing happened with his son. After all LNV is not bothered about saras only because he is in custody of his best friend VC. LNV himself told Guman once you and VC are equal in my heart.

Guman also takes blame here by mortgaging VC haveli to bank and by getting Saras arrested for Gau hatya. But VC takes a bigger blame

SC may be family to him but then why he is not putting any effort to find truth? If SC was family to him he would have helped him at any cost. Its a different thing to say family and to be true family. Both LNV and VC may be like father to SC but if LNV would know what happened to his son he would have behaved differently from VC. It will hurt LNV trust that his fiend VC hid all this from him.

I think Saras being arrested also VC will not inform LNV and Guman will use that to poison LNV mind against VC. This will help break relation with both family. LNV will think VC and family removing his grudge on Saras
