The hugely talented actor made an elephant impact with his role of a passionate lover who turns mentally unstable in Dilwale. The film co-starred Raveena Tandon and Suniel Shetty with a motley of supporting starcast including Paresh Rawal and Gulshan Grover. This Harry Baweja film had a double trigger effect, besides being a huge hit; it cemented a lasting friendship between Ajay and Harry. To the point that 11 years later, the actor-producer are working on yet another film, Dil Mera Todo Naa (now re-titled as Main Aisa Hi Hoon) where the actor again plays the role of a mentally challenged character. The film also stars Sushmita Sen, Esha Deol and child artist Rucha Vaidya.
Moreover, the film is slated for a February 4 release, the same date on which Dilwale released. Talk of coincidences!
