AT THE CHOPRA'S

The gates of shantivan opened wide to welcome the white SUV and the ASR. He rang the bell with his coat in one hand and cell phone in the other. He waited h.p to open the door. But not to his surprise anjali opened the door. Arnav rolled his eyes in unbelievable look and hugged her sideways. The duo walked together inside the house and h.p took his belongings to his room

Anjali: so how was Ur day chote?

Images of kushi , her sobs and sorry's'.her shyness and also anger came into his mind. He brushed of his thoughts and replied to anji

Arnav: fine di'.as usual

Anjali: aur mine? You won't ask how was mine?

Arnav: iss me poochne ki kya Baath hai'zaroor u might have done all the work in home granting leave for maids'.aur haan next time don't open the door di , stand for me near the gate until my car arrives..

Anjali thought for a while and replied

Anji: hmm not a bad idea chote..!

Arnav looked at her in a faking angered face but they both giggled. Suddenly they heard a voice

Mamiji: hello hi bye bye'ye kya horaha hai anjali bitya? Bhat iz happening there?

Arnav smiled silently at his mamiji's English.

Anjali: kuch nahi mammi, voh bas I'm asking chote about his day

Mamiji scanned arnav from top to bottom and replied

Mamiji: aree arnav bitwa'.why is u smiling??? Kuch ladki ke bare main thinking kya?

Arnav opened his mouth but did not know what to say..By that time naniji called everyone for dinner and they left for the dining hall.

AT HOPE

The night prayer after the dinner was held and half of the kids slept in the chapel during prayer. Buaji was damn angry at the kids but Esther calmed her

Esther: its okay madhumati'.bache hai naa hotha hai

Buaji: kya bache maaji'.these are not having fear of god. Every day they sleep in prayer maa ji. They don't obey to my words'

Esther smiled

Esther: if you cook the dinner late , then the kids will fall asleep rite??? Hence I always advice to conduct prayer before eating and kids can sleep after dinner.. don't misunderstand them , children are equal to god madhumati..

Esther tried to make madhumati understand.

Buaji: but maa ji'

Before she could complete tinky interrupted her

Tinky: why buaji? When u was a kid, didn't u doze of anytime while performing puja?

Buaji glared at her but tinky did not care as Esther was present there. As long as kushi and ester present tinky is safe from buaji. Buaji gave angry looks but tinky looked here and there in a " I don't give a damn look" and playing with her curls irritating buaji more. Tinky hid behind Esther ma and giggled.

Kushi: chalo tinky, time to sleep.

Tinky yawned and held kushi hand but heard buaj's loudspeaker voice behind

Buaji: acha suno'I know ur sneaking into kusi room at night'.i won't tolerate it anymore

Tinky did not turn back as if she did not hear and walked back of kushi muttering "lady Hitler"

Kushi: tinky, how many times I told u not to call buaji that name?

Tinky smiled cutely and replied

Tinky: okay did'.will search for a new name and tell u..Okay?

Kushi giggled and ran back of tinky to get hold of her. But she heard Esther's call. She sent tinky to dormitory and went to attend Esther

Kushi: what happened maa ji?

Esther: VO kushi, I forgot to tell you betiya, we got an order for sweet for chopra's function. Don't forget okay. Tomr evening.

Kushi: teak hai maa ji. I will prepare everything and deliver them

Esther: haan kushi'they asked us to attend the function too'.we are supplying from many years naa, so they asked you to stay for the party. So you and tinky go together. Madhumati can't bear tinky.

Kushi: ji'.

Well, as kusi said, they take orders for sweets and supply. In all of their customers chopra's are regular. They are so kind and honest funders from many years to hope...if tinky go with buaji, world war 3 will take place. So every time kushi and tinky go together.

AT R.M

Arnav is typing furiously on laptop..He was hell angry as the deal got cancelled as he did not attend the meeting. Without him it's really difficult to manage office. Of course aakash is there but not as commanding as arnav. He heard the footsteps near his door and curious to know who came to his room at this time

Anjali: sorry chote, did I disturb you?

Arnav: di? Aap yahan? Are you okay?

Anjali with help of arnav walked in and settled on hi bed

Anjali: im fine chote. Don't panic'.she smiled as usual with her sweet smile

Arnav: whats wrong di? You want sumthing?

Anjali: no chote. You remember chopra's rite. Mrs. Chopra is my best friend'u remember?

Arnav: ya di, even we had a deal once. Our team was great

Anjali: yes chote. They invited us for a party chote. Some success meet

Arnav: no di. We are not going

Anjali: why chote? She asked with a puppy face. She knew arnav wouldn't agree for parties as it's not good to move for her too much

Arnav: you know di. It's not good to go here and there. And I don't want to leave you alone and attend. I'll meet them some other time

Anjali: I'm not gonna stressed up chote. We will go and come by car'..and anyhow you won't let me go anywhere in the arty. So what's the problem? Please chote please please?

Arnav found no other option other than agreeing anjali. So he nodded in approval and bid good night to anjali.

NEXT DAY EVENING AT HOPE

Buaji: aree kusi'.all the sweets are ready rite? Did you pack all of them?

Kushi: haan buaji' I packed all of them..aree haan, jalebi box is left over pass it naa

Before buaji can pass tinky interrupted and passed it to kushi

Tinky: take didi..

Buaji narrowed her eyes and glared at her but tinky did not care.

Buaji: kusi, jalebies are already packed rite? For whom are you taking then??

Kushi and tinky silently packed everything cos that package of jalebies was exclusively for them. Buaji left the place banging her head. Tinky giggled and added more jalebi to the box.

Esther: all ready beti?

Tinky: haan maa ji. We will come soon okay? Bye.

Tinky waved and kissed Esther and kushi bid good bye and they started to the chopra's mansion

Arnav: di are you sure? Do you really want to go?..he asked descending the stairs in his possessive mode. Anji rolled her eyes knowing of her chote's possessiveness.

Arnav: and haan don't..

Anjali completed the sentence

Anji: don't walk here and their'don't do any work cos they have loads of servants, sit in one place; if you want anything please let me know blah blah blah'.

Anjali imitated her chote while he looked with his hands across his chest and eyes narrowed. She bit her lip and held her ears indicating to say sorry. Arnav smiled and led her

Mamiji: hello hi bye bye anjali betiya 'im not going to come'that mrs chopra is so cunning'she is gossiping about me'so im not coming.

Anjali: teek hain mamiji'aapki marzi.

Arnav: nani thayaar hai? He asked searching for her.

Nani: yes chote. Lets go?

Arnav settled anji and nani in car and drove to chopra's mansion.

Chopra's MANSION

Tinky and kushi arrived at the mansion. They directly went into the kitchen as they were the most familiar person's there. Everyone likes their sweets and they got many customers through the chopra's. by the time they were settling the sweets in the trays Mrs.chopra arrived.

Mrs.chopra: Namaste kushi. Kaisi ho?

Kushi gave as usual warm and radiant smile and hugged her.

Kushi: I'm fine lalita ji. Aap kaisi hai?

Lalita: I'm fine kushi. We really miss coming to hope. You know these deals and meetings are really tiring stuff.

Tinky: koi baat nahi. We came here naa.

Lalita hugged tinky too and blessed her

Lalita: so all ready? Kushi nodded her head. Some maids came to help them. Kushi and tinky remained in the kitchen arranging the sweets in trays while the maids served the others. Lalita went to the hall to attend others.

Anjali, nani and arnav entered the hall where he felt the gush of wind blowing on him. He saw the rest of the people but they are normal. He felt the cool breeze touching his face and the same fragrance he felt when he was around kushi. But what she will be doing here? "Arnav Singh raizada, ye ladki tume pagal karengi". He brushed off his thoughts and greeted lalita and chopra

Here kushi had some bad feeling. She closed her eyes tightly and prayed. She prayed to give her strength to face what is hitting her cos she is feeling 100% sure of some bad happening that affects her health causing here acidity. by that time tinky saw anjali and rushed to her giving a tight wala hug

Tinky: anjali di!!!! Tinky threw herself around anjali waist making sure that it won't hurt her belly

Anjali was shocked to see tinky there and instantly hugged her back. Arnav gave weird looks to them as they are hugging like long lost BFF's. Nani was shocked and wondered who the girl was? He immediately pulled tinky back and asked harshly

Arnav: cant you shake hand and wish? What the need to hug? Anjali eyes popped out and gave an angry glare to him

Anji: chote she is a kid. And what's wrong if she hug me? Why did you speak harshly? Say sorry now'anjali spoke with angry face which made arnav eyes wide hearing her words,

Arnav: mein? Sorry to her? Excuse me?

Tinky interrupted with her tiny hands on her waist and an irritating glare

Tinky: leave naa anjali di. Emotionally challenged people can't say sorry or thank you to others.hai naa Nannav bhaiyya?

Arnav gave a don't you dare look while tinky stood in the same position not reacting to his threatens. Nani and anjali giggled and nani asked tinky

Nani: by the way, I have not known you before? Aapan naam kya hai?

Tinky straitened herself and answered politely

Tinky: Namaste naniji I'm tinky..Hope girl's high school, first class, a section, roll no 22.

Arnav was irritated seeing nani and anji caressing tinky and hugging her. He felt so annoying that she grabbed whole attention from everyone else.

Arnav: do you give your introduction in this way for everyone?

Tinky replied in the same harsh way with a fake smile

Tinky: kyun Nannav ji Aap ko koi problem hai?

Listening to her word nani and anji were hell shocked. Till now no one gave back answers to arnav. They even liked her boldness

Anjali: waise tinky, how come you are here? Are you alone?

Tinky: why alone? Kushi didi is there naa.

Hearing her name arnav instantly asked her in exciting voice

Arnav: kushi? Kushi is here?

Anjali, nani and tinky narrowed their eyes looking at him suspiciously. Especially tinky found the great emotionally challenged man more interested in her didi. She scanned him from top to bottom as it is an examination. Seeing everybody's reaction arnav composed himself and replied again

Arnav: I mean is she here? I'm just asking casually.

Tinky: did I ask you any explanations nanaav bhaiyya?

Anjali know arnav, if once his temper raises no one can stop him. so she decided to change the topic

Anjali: waise tinky, kushi ji kahan hai?

Tinky: aree haan, hum thou bhuligai! Come come'

Tinky caught hold of anjali hand while nani was engaged with the other guests. Arnav silently followed tinky and anjali. After knowing that she is there, he so wanted to see her. Anjali controlled from smiling looking at kushi's state. Her eyes closed with both the hands on either side of her head and muttering something. Arnav enjoyed seeing her in that way. She is so mature sometimes and also kiddish. He wondered why she wears the same colors everyday. May be she like light colors he thought. She wore a white kurtha and pyjama with full sleeved hands, and same braided hair. But still she looked different and new every time he sees her.

Anjali snapped her finger on her face which made kushi eyes wide open. But she did not see anjali but she saw ASR in front of her. Her almond eyes went wide but e closed again thinking it's her imagination. She felt the gentle touch of ANJALI hand on her shoulders which brought her back to present.

Anjali: kushi ji are you okay? Aap teak to hai?

Kushi: haan anjali ji I'm fine. With that she hugged anjali while anji hugged her back. They pulled back and anji asked her

Anjali: what are you doing here? I mean you knew chopra's?

Kushi: we told you naa, that we supply sweets in parties. And we supply for every part of chopra's, they are very nice to us.

Anjali: ohh that sounds great'.how is everyone in hope?

Kushi: all are great anjali ji, but now tell me how you and your princess are?

Anjali: we both are fine'anjali replied cheerfully with her sweetest smile caressing her belly.

Kushi felt his gaze on her but acted as if she did not notice him. By that time nani came.

Anji: aree haan kushi ji, this is our nani.

Kushi: Namaste. It's good to see you. Nani smiled graciously at her behavior. She noticed kushi wore nothing but a simple white dress with silver cross locket chain.

Nani: Namaste betiya. Aap?

Anji: nani, she is the one who helped us in the market that day. And we went to the orphanage you remember?

Nani: oh! I got it. Thank you so much beti, if you are not there then'kushi interrupted and completed

Kushi: nothing would have happened. And please don't thank me again and again'

Nani hugged kushi blessing her. By hat time lalita arrived

Lalita: anjali, you know kushi?

Anjali: haan lalita ji, we are friends.

Lalita appreciated kushi and tinky about their services and insisted them to settle themselves in party along with anjali. They sat for the dinner in a special table. Anjali and tinky were engaged in their cute talks while kushi chatted with nani. Arnav acted busy with his phone, watching kushi from the corner of his eyes for every minute.

Nani: so kushi betiya'shaadi kab karegi aap?

Kushi spilled the drink out in shock of nani's words. She remained tongue tied while anjali giggled and Arnav's eyes were keenly concentrated on kushi's expression and waiting for an answer. Before kushi could utter her words tinky said

Tinky: didi, I'm so sleepy 'I want to go home.. Tinky replied yawning. She was almost dozing off on anjali shoulder. Arnav mentally angered on tinky for interrupting their discussion.

Kushi: we have to pack all the remaining again tinky. There's lot of work to do. Please wait for sometime naa.

Tinky eyes were closing because of her sleepiness and constantly dozed off on anjali

Anjali: I have a plan kushi ji. We will call for another car and will drop tinky at hope. Chote will drop you later. Kyun chote?

Arnav instantly replied

Arnav: of course di.

But kushi shouted NO

Kushi: anjali ji its okay. We will go by ourselves, what say tinky?

Tinky: pleassseee didi'.tinky spoke sleepily'..kushi wanted to stay with tinky but tinky is make her situations more difficult. She don't wana go with arnav at all. But he seems like not leaving her until he drops her.

Anjali: see? Tinky is so sleepy kushi ji. You can't take her alone. I already called our driver. We will drop tinky. Chote will drop you later. Now don't say no. you can't go alone on this late hour'.anjali replied with determination on her face.

Kushi had no option other than agreeing to anjali. Tinky already dozed off and kushi carried her till the car and laid her on the seat. She bid good bye to anjali and thanked her for dropping tinky. Kushi headed towards the kitchen to wrap up the work. She so not wants to go with him again. Arnav kept talking with the other's and also made sure that he keeps an eye on kushi. Thinking he is not watching she took the check from lalita and ran to escape but his firm voice stopped her

Arnav: kushi, where are you going?

Kushi: I'm not going with you. Thank you for asking. Kushi hurried to go but he blocked her way. He just wanted to drop her but this girl is not that easy?

Arnav: cant you listen kushi? I said I will drop you damn it.

Kushi already experienced his anger and also it was late night. It's not safe to catch an auto. She prayed that nothing wrong should happen when he is around and took a deep breath and replied

Kushi: okay, I will go with you.
