The window seems strangely symbolic in PR or rather in ARVI love.
Arjun and Purvi tried to close a window together initially at Vinay's house. It was windy, turbulent, indicative of times to come. They tried to face the impending storm of their love together.
Purvi opened the window to let in Arjun's declaration of love when he plonked himself in front of the K house that stormy night. A lot of rain portending tears, a grand love affair gone to nought, purging of nature's elements, wind, showers, lightening, ending in nothing, ending in an uneasy drenched feeling, waiting for the sun to burst out again, maybe that day, or maybe the next, or maybe not for days on end. Same happened to ARVI love, a lot of fanfare, a lot of hype but ending in nothing, sadly.
And yesterday, as Arjun watched, Purvi tried to shut the window on him, unconsciously taking a stand to leave his life and carve out her own happiness. She could not do it on her own until Onir showed her how easy it was and together they shut the window on Arjun waiting outside unbeknownst to them.
Does this foretell what is to come? The latest article states that Onir and Purvi will move back to Kolkatta and have their own Pari. End of the road for ARVI? Will they unite 20 years from now? Will we want them to as buuda buudi?
