FilmFarm India's Uttaran on Colors is constantly been throwing in high-octane drama, wherein its lead characters Tapasya (Rashmi Desai) and Ichcha (Tina Dutta) are hospitalized and fighting against life. Now in an attempt to maintain its TRPs, the makers are bringing in a new character Sankrant, played by newcomer Varun Toorkey.
Sankrant will mark his entry as Vishnu's (Mrunal Jain) brother. His character will be a positive one who supports Meethi (Tina Dutta). He helps her to escape from domestic violence by her in-laws. In the coming episode, Ekadashi (Krutika Desai) will arrange a Pooja ceremony on her husband's death anniversary. For those unaware, Ichcha had killed Ekadashi's husband, years ago, on the day of Holi. Since then, Ekadashi's family does not celebrate the festival of colors.
Progressively, Sankrant will observe that the entire family is taking revenge from Ichcha's daughter Meethi by torturing her on daily basis. He will advise her to run away from house. But Meethi who is unaware about his right intensions will go and tell Vishu about it. And the whole family gets to know about Sankrant prompting Meethi to run away.
If this drama was not enough, it will also be revealed that the family has trapped Agarth's (Girija Shankar) wife (essayed by Neelam) in a room for years. After Sankrant's entry in the house, she will also see coming out of the trap. Meethi who gets to know of all this, will eventually decide to run away from the haveli.
