Chapter 15B: A night together...

As the kisses and the intimate touches continued, the time froze for them and the ultimate desire for each other took over uniting them as one in the most passionate way…..

The husky romantic whispers which escaped their lips and echoed in the darkness becoming the only evidence to their secret union…

It was a night of hard realizations for Arjun…..He realized that he was the first man in her life…..He understood that Pari wasn't Aisha's daughter….

It wasn't an easy night for Aisha as well…..She knew that after this night, their equations would change forever…….All her secrets were unfolded and lay open for him to know!

It wasn't dawn yet...Arjun woke up from his sleep to find Aisha nested close to him in his arms...She looked calm and serene in her sleep...His mind replayed the events of the night and how they had drifted into the sleep together...

He sure felt guilty for more than one reasons but he knew that what had happened can never be changed...And there was absolutely no choice but accept it and move ahead...No point feeling guilty or breaking heads over the whys and whats of it!

He gently shifted her head down off his shoulders cautious not to wake her up...He pulled on his clothes and also covered her up with hers...He didn't want to leave her alone and run away from there...no he would never do that...he wasn't a coward...he would face the consequences...He was ready to take responsibility of what he did...moreover, he had questions which needed an open talk with her...So he patiently waited for her to wake up...

He laid back again a little away from her but not without putting his arm around her protectively!

He was plain amused to even think about how drastically their relationship and the equations they shared had changed, just in a matter of few hours...They would never be the same Arjun and Aisha who fought for dominance on everything over the other or would they fight even now...well he didn't know...he wasn't sure ofwhat her reactions would be when she wakes up!

He closed his eyes for a while!

Almost an hour later...but it was dark even now...Aisha opened her eyes...She saw her state and his hand over her...she remembered what had transpired between them the previous night...No she wasn't dreaming...it really happened...no it wasn't dawning upon her suddenly and she wasn't shocked too but accepting it seemed tough...she knew what she had done already but it sure was an awkward moment...She slowly moved his hand off her...placing it on the ground, she stood up slowly hugging her clothes to herself...

She quickly dressed up and decided to leave from there before he got up...But the pit was a real barrier...how the hell would she come out of it? She tried to jump, she tried to climb it but for every step up, she slipped back by two steps...The rain had made the whole place slippery as well...the mud was sliding down when she tried to step on it...

Her actions and trials to get away wasn't unseen by him...He had woken up when she put his hand down but he chose to pretend sleep so that she wouldn't feel uncomfortable...He knew she would have problems facing him...It would indeed be an awkward moment...so he waited with his eyes closed to let her be...

But he wasn't able to contain himself when she started trying to escape from the pit without waking him up...

He spoke up sarcastically after her futile attempts to climb up "mujhse sharmaakhe bhaag rahi ho??"

She was startled when his sudden question hit her ears...She ignored him completely and continued her trials when he added "ETF ke jungili billi sharmaana bhi jaanthi hai...interesting!"

Aisha blew up her hair annoyed at his sarcasm but she wasn't yet ready to face him or answer him...

While he wasn't ready to leave her so easily..."humaare baat ab bhi baaki hai Aisha...pehle baat karlethe hai...phir chalenge...anyways, tum akele yahaan se chadh nahi sakthi...you need my help!"

Aisha turned around and replied as if knowing his questions "haan, Pari meri saghi beti nahi hai...but that doesn't change the fact that she is my daughter...She means the world to me...Samjhe aap?

Arjun raised his eyebrows "don't you think thats old information Aisha? Especially what happened between us..."

Aisha snapped him short "I don't want to speak about that Sir...jo hua, usse ek bhura sapna samajhke bhool jahiye..."

Arjun: What if i don't want to..[he stopped knowing what exactly he meant by that and continued after a pause]...itna bhi aasaan nahi hai Aisha...aur main itna giraa insaan nahi ke kisi bhi ladki ke saat kuch bhi...[pauses and Aisha could sense guilt in his eyes...She hated to see it in his eyes...isnt it why she was running away from him to save him of that guilty situation!...]

Aisha: mujhe patha hai...i dragged you into this... isiliye aapko guilty feel karne ki zaroorat nahi hai...I will never hold you responsible for this...

Arjun: jo hua ek impulsive moment mein hua par hum dono poore hosh mein teh aur kabhi iss sacchaayi se mooh nahi pher sakthe Aisha...

Aisha: [turning away from him] lets go Sir...

Arjun: meri baat katam nahi hui...

Aisha: par meri hogayi hai...

Arjun knew that trying to talk to her at this weak moment were useless...she was not in a state to understand any of this...

So he decided to get out of the place first...He lifted her and helped her reach the surface...she jumped out and then helped him by lending him a hand...She sure had an urge to leave him there just to escape from his questions but then it wouldn't be ethical...

Once both were out, she sprinted ahead not willing to walk by his side...neither was she willing to continue their conversation...

He grinned at the way she was trying to escape from the conversation and quickly followed her...He decided to let her be to herself for sometime...May be, she would think more sensibly after being in her own company!

Rathod was an early riser and today was no exception...He had just stepped out of the guest house for a morning walk when he saw the sight...

Aisha was rushing into the guest house compound closely followed by his second in command, the ACP Rawte himself...

Both stopped in their tracks when they faced their chief who was visibly perplexed by them and was bubbling with questions for them...

Before he started his first question, Aisha was out with her first answer..."main morning walk pe gayi thi...khaafi acchi jagah hai!"

Rathod alternated his looks towards Arjun...he didn't want to lie but then he had to for Aisha's sake "main bhi jog pe gaya tha..."

Their replies sure amused Rathod...he decided to play along "saat saat"

Arjun replied this time "nahi...raste pe miley..."

Rathod then noticed that their clothes and their bruised forms...the clothes were all soiled and wet...Both had scratches on every visible part of their bodies...

He looked at both of them head to toe and then enquired "Kahi tum dono ladaayi toh nahi kar rahe teh?"

They knew they had to cook up a real good story else fooling their smart chief was tough...Both spoke up at the same time pointing to the other "yeh girr gaye teh...aur main"

Aisha stopped and let Arjun continue with his story else both would mess it up...

Arjun sensed it and continued "Aisha ek gaddhe pe girr gayi aur main use bachaane keliye gaya toh main bhi..."

Rathod couldn't control his laugh..."so finally dono girr gaye...accha jaao aur Shree se first aid karwaalo"

Saying that Rathod walked out leaving his ever fighting officers behind...

Though their story of a jog, morning walk and the fall seemed a little too much to digest, neither the ETF chief nor the rest of the ETF team would ever be able to guess what transpired between Arjun and Aisha the previous night just because, they themselves were behaving oblivious to the truth or perhaps acting oblivious...but till when??
