TOTW: Waiting at the Doctor’s office!

We've all been there!🤔

I don't know about you guys, but my doctor takes FOREVER! Like if I got there at 4:00Pm, and they are ..umm like lets say 8 pplz there already I swear...im not home until like 7!! And it's always on weekdays..so that takes so much time away from me!!!

And..there's always a coincidence. Usually everytime I go, it's raining or it rained the say before..or IT LOOKS LIKE it's going to rain...and whn ever that happens ...the doctors always like "Look meghavi, you brought the rain with you.." he said that 2 me like 3 tymes already!!

How long does your doc take? Like...I know it depeends...if there are more ppls it will take long..if the issue is serious it mite take long..but generally?

And wht do u do whn you're at the docs office and you're waiting? Do you just sit on the chair..and look around?

Well since my doctor takes forever...I usually bring hmk there (call me a nerd if u want) but if I leave it all to do whn I get home...ohh...then that won't be good! I also bring food, water and MP3. Lolz...whn I say my doc takes forever..I REALLY mean it.

And if I don't have anything with me, then I just check out some of the magazines. I can't sit in the chair..and look around for long lolz...I need to do something!

Doc- didn't take too long..about 20 minutes..and sat and looked at old women!!! 😆

Hospital-looked at the doors to see who was comin in..and oh lordd..only..i mean ONLY old people walked in..i was like..IS THERE ANYTHING BETTER TO DO?!?!?!?! 😆 😆

😆True...i can oonly see Old people around me when i go to the doctors..my doc isn't that bad..but i have to wait ages to see him...so i play around with lego and toys which are kept there😳😆😆

Nice topic Megz, wow i'm actually studying health sciences as a major and we have a course that called Health Communication so thats all we talk about, I wont bore you with all the details 😆 but ya its important to have an important "therapeutic" relationship with the doc, like how we must be willing to communicate effectively with the doc and not just go for the medication (usually its the doc that doesnt have time for this). Sometimes you cant help it, some docs just give u the cure and let you go and they dont really "talk" to you. I hate it when you wait soo long to see the doc, it happens to me too, it takes forever! And then when you go in, they see you for like five mins.

How long does your doc take? Waiting to see him seems like forvever but when you go in the diagnosis doesn't last very long, it depends how serious the situation is but usually, it'll take like less than 10 mins, thats what i dont like, they just prescribe medication, they dont take the time to fully talk to you.

Usually I read the magazines, because I cant look around for long 😆 since everywhere u see, pple are sick. If its going to take really long, I walk around, like if its a walk in clinic or smt usually they have it in a mall but if its my doctor's office i just basically read the magazines.
