Arnav Khushi's magical Haldi

Just watched the Arnav khushi haldi episode and was once again struck by the magic of IPKKND. Seriously, no matter what serial I watch, my heart and my thoughts come back to IPK.

Such a mindblowing haldi episode, such lovely dialogues, and such a unique idea of having the haldi of the bride & the groom with a sheer dupatta seperating them. There was romance, chemistry, nok jhok . (Pat for the Cvs)

Khushi every bit the eager bride, looking radiant and beautiful in her special flowery getup. Arnav dashing in his white kurta pyjama. The way they looked at each other through the transparent dupatta , their faces aglow with all their love shining through their eyes.

How cute it was to see Arnav not wanting to be left behind in the rasams and egging on anjali to put the haldi properly on him...

When anjali is just putting specks of haldi on his cheek he says

'Sorry chote...humne jyada laga diya ..?..'

'no...not that ...aise thodi lagate hai' and then ...pointing at how buaji is liberally smearing the haldi on khushi's face.he says

That was the Arnav totally in love, wanting to do everything the right way becoz that was how khushi wanted .

And our buaji...good God, she is totally in her element. Sample her dialogues

'kanjoosi kyu kar rahi ho ? (This she says to payal who is putting haldi on Khushi). Jitna lagaogi, khubsoorti utni hi nikhregi...ladka walon ko bhi to pata lage...humari bitiya chand ka tukda hai...chand ka tukda...uka chehra se noor tapakta hai...aise ...tap...tap...'

To which Anjali replies '

'Are buaji...hamare chote bhi kuch kam nahi hai...suraj hai...suraj...'

Promptly, buaji gets a black goggle and puts it on khushi...

'bulao suraj ko, hamri dulhan taiyyar hai...'

The incredulous expressions on arnav's face as he listens to this exchange and sees khushi in that black goggle are absolutlely worth watching...

And then nk's dialogue...'agar yeh dono itni light marenge to raat ko batti kaun band karegaaa..? who..who?'

Watching all this, and the intensity in arnav khushi's eyes...I had goosebumps...

And this was just one of countless such episodes which have left us speechless and mermerised at times...

Can we ever have such a serial , which would touch us so much...which can bring a lump to our throats, a song on our lips and joy in our hearts...

I seriously doubt...
