But it might not be true. No article was there yet.

And about MB TRP getting low, Colors reach might be low in the added cities. So maybe the reason for low TRP of all Colors shows.

Otherwise how come now SP has almost 300 GRP and Colors is below 200. When the digitalization started in big cities, Clors was on top and three top channels were neck to neck. I feel it is more with the channel's reach in small cities.

I'm still confused about the Colors reach...why it doesn't have a reach...all set top boxes, the less expensive ones, have Colors by default. It's the rest like Tata Sky, Dish and Airtel that have a system wherein the customer can decide on a package of his choice.

We have two set top boxes and one Tata Sky connection at home...both the set top boxes provided by the cable guy have Colors but neither my husband nor my mom-in-law tune into colors but we still pay for it.

On the other hand, I opted for a package that contained all GEC channels on Tata Sky for which I pay extra.

I doubt if most of India opt for digital boxes like Tata Sky etc. They would definitely go for the set top boxes provided by their cable guys, Which means reach isn't the problem.

still ok yes little drop from last week , but some other show is also dropped, BV is also going down, hope for Next week.

@ pippa- Colors was mostly known as regressive shows, It is very recently they are having youth and love stories I feel and also maybe they have not done much promotion of the channels in small cities, unlike SP. SP every year promotes STar Parivar awards bys ending their actors to those cities.

So might be the reason. Even I didn't even once changed to Colors chanel before the news came about DD doing a Colors show. After that I switch on the channel hope of seeing a promo of DD"s show and there I got interested in BV and started watchign BV.

So lack of promotion of the channel and its shows is the reason I feel. And Colors is only 4 year old channel. So to be competing with the big channel is itself an achievement.

True, shahisthi.

Colors was a channel that I didn't tune into till Chaal began. The channel does/did have an image that verges on the negative side.
Hope that changes soon. But the current crop of shows are saas bahu dramas that the trp audiences love. So, why don't they tune in, I wonder.
