Sweetheart everyone celebrates holi whether Hindu Or Muslim or Christian m a Muslim as well and I celebrated holi once with my friends and will do it again and again cz it's fun, it's about being with the people you love and your friends to enjoy every religion and customs. Its not about bringing religious matters in between! Islam teaches us religious toleration, so please I heartily request you to not bring religion between ones culture and custom.

Because for once in a show, they are trying to be realistic.
The Khans arent celebrating Holi at their own home, they are going to a friends where they are invited. The same happens in real life, where if you live in a multicultural place, you are bound to celebrate their functions and interconnect.

I am a muslim n I know our religion is against it. But in India all festivals r celebrated n it shows our unity. My frnds wish me eid n comes at my place n in d same way I wish n take part in their festivals. Its not like Asad's family is celebrating but they r being invited. It is actually realistic n not a very big issue.

allah miya whtz wrong with you. Just cause some1 is muslim doesn't mean they cannot celebrate indian festivals. I am hindu r u tryin to say i shouldn't be watchin qubool hai as it is based around muslim background. I think it time for you to grow up and understand that we live in a multicultural society where all religions are accecpted. I am not a Muslim but I celebrate Eid. R u sayin i shouldn't do that cause i am a hindu. Change is constant people have change and their thinking has changed but why r u sill living in old generation where religion mattered.
All the festivals are brough about to bring people together not to seperate them.
Unless you haven't read what the zee tv said aboit the show. The show is based at removing all the sterotypes and racism against muslims. and aren't they doing that by getting involved into the multicultural society.
I dont mean to insult you or anything i respect you religion. In fact i feel more close to your religion that my own religion and my friends are Muslims and they have a huge influence on me. I respect your religion.
My point is just that creating these sort of posts may create arguments on this forum. If may be a very religious person but time is changing we don't live in 90s anymore where religion was split into different caste systems. Its time for individuals to chage and get use to the fact that we are in a Multicultural society and every other religion is as much important as out own religion.
Respect your religion but don't sideline others religion. Respect their religion aswell

Wishing sm1 n actually celebratin the festival r two diff things, frm wot i have seen in the sbs segments it luks like the khans r doin the whole thing , singin n dancin, men and women all mixing together like that, not very islamic at all. islam teaches us tolerance n to respect other religions but celebratin other religion festivals is totally forbidden. And men n women actually mixin like that is TOTALLY FORBIDDEN.

in that case you shouldn't watch QH. Don't torture yourself when you are feeling BAD about things shown in the soap.

Please continue all discussion on this topic in ALL Questions & Queries about Religion HERE.
Furthermore, Holi is not just a religious holiday, but a cultural one as well. It is quite normal for people of numerous religions to participate in the social aspect of it.
