Episode 230 Discussion: 27th March 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.
Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.

Episode 230 Discussion - EOD Summary

Madhubala has a right to move on. Is it the end of Rishbala ? Is it the beginning of Sulbala ?

Events of the Episode

Sultan expresses the indebtedness that he feels towards Madhu for taking care of his son and saving his life through removing the bullet from his wound. He asks her to price her service as he does not to feel obligated to her. Madhu says her services are like complimentary gift and if he still wants to pay her back, then start giving his son a life that does not look like Boxing Ring. Sultan gets angry and tells Madhu that, Aryan's mother left him the next moment Aryan was born. And from that time to this time, he has been with his son, including the time when he had polio fever, not Madhu and so he knows what is needed and what not for his son. [**Sulbala effects commenced with both feeling conscious of each other and talking at the same time**]
Radhaji comes to Padmini. Asks about Madhu's presence and expresses her concern that Madhu may have fallen into bad company as Rishabh said. Padmini gets angry and asks Radhaji what right she has to ask about Madhu like this or even doubt her. Radhaji, says she was just expressing her concern for her daughter-in-law. Padmini reminds R that the relationship was broken by her son and she has lost all rights. R, says she agrees and asks P, if Madhu has really moved on. Padmini tactfully puts her foot down and asks R, if Madhu wishes to move on, she has every right to move on and no one can stop her. And that instead of judging her daughter's actions, R should worry about her son's vile character and his actions. R asks P's forgiveness and goes away from Chawl.
Madhu wants to call her mother and apprise her situation. She wants to go out. Sultan says its not safe to venture out. Madhu steps out anyways. Encounters Bhujang's men looking out for Sultan. Madhu misleads them and runs to Sultan's hideout and warns him of Bhujang's men. As they plan to escape from there, the thugs walk into Sultan's hideout. Sulbala, Aryan and Kakaa make an exit from backdoor. The escape drama continues with Madhu once again pulling RK out of the men's sight. Episode ends. To be continued tomorrow. [***Sulbala effects continue with Sultan showing his concern for Madhu and Madhu showing her concern for him, where Sultan keeps staring at Madhu and not where she is looking into***]

I don't understand Madhu's expressions when Sultan tells her about his life with Aryan. He says his and Aryan's life will be full of betrayals, bullets, blood sprouting like fountains, and that is a fact. So why is she crying? 😕 Why does she make that surprised expression? Maybe I'm reading her wrong, but it seemed as if she hadn't realized this earlier.. Well she promptly forgets this again when she gets another chance to point out his wrongful handling of Aryan.

Padminiji and Radhaji's conversation was just too good. While Radhaji was attempting to find out what's happening in Madhu's life, Padminiji was overtly harsh with her because she herself knows that the man Madhu is hanging out with wrong, and is worried about her. Not to mention that RK's name will be enough to make her closed off and angry. Padminiji expertly moves the discussion on to RK, and uses his disgusting revenge cover up Madhu's behaviour .. And Radhaji is forced to back off. Not for long I'm sure, she'll be back soon enough to make another attempt with another strategy. Nonetheless, Padminiji was right about to say that Madhu has full right to move on as she wants to ..

Madhu still insists on jumping down Sultan's throat. Why does she need to argue with Sultan? Does it make her feel alive again? And then when he makes a sensible argument she hears everything and yet listens to that part which conforms to his image in her mind.. She does not believe that Sultan has any right to make comments on her decisions and her behaviour, then how can she believe that she has that right over him? What is this hypocrisy?

Not content with simply refusing to recognize Sultan, she sends Bhujang's men in the opposite direction.. Madhu is going to be so much trouble .. Should any of those men, na they will tell Bhujang about her .. so when they do, he will assume, correctly, that she is on Sultan's side.

Kaka's worry for Madhu was nice, "woh ladki ka kya?" And Sultan, bechara, he will keep trying to remove his debt only to realize it it is a complementary gift.

Those Bhujang's men in the warehouse 🤣 It was hilarious watching them move about like that with their guns in their hands all of them playing follow the leader.. And Madhu saves him again, this time by dragging Sultan by his shirt, but this could be argued as her saving her own life as well..

Sorry but i could not understand anything bhai said to Madhu.Why do they give him such filmy dialogues when he can't deliver them?I just understood that last line which he said shouting that his wife left him just after Aryan was born and Madhu should know that she's nothing to them.

I liked Paddy today.Madhu has full right to move on.And Padhaji has no right to question.

Lastly if anyone cud justify Madhu's actions today, then please do.I badly need an explanation.And the close scenes of SM started.

Somewhere it does hurt to see their close scenes, but people are enjoying them. More of their close scenes might come when they are in Chawl.

I badly want RK to move on in life like Madhu did. Neither I am enjoying Rishbala scenes nor Sultanbala scenes nor I am able to follow ST's advice. 😭

A very thrilling episode today. Totally filmi.

Loved the way Padmini gave a piece of her mind to Radha ji. I feel bad for Radha ji. She must be hoping against hope that Rish and Madhu will get together.But, she should let bygones be bygones. Padmini was right when she told her to judge her son properly. Though it is too early to say how Madhu's life will take a turn, but,it appears, Sultan is going to stay in her life for quite some time.

If not for Sultan,she will stick to them for Aryan.

Sultan was good when he said that he does not want to carry the burden of obligation as that makes you hang your head all the time. Seems his wife's betrayal has been too hard for him. And he equates every one as back stabber/betrayer. It is not hard to understand his emotions,people who have been left in the lurch by their near and dear ones,find it difficult to trust others.

May be with time, Madhu will find a way to make Sultan start trusting people again. Right now, I would like to see how she gets them to the chawl and will RK come to know of Sultan's presence in Madhu's chawl?

And if he comes to know that,will he inform the police?

@Narzissa- RK won't move on because of Paddy's curses (what crap?). Madhu has changed way too much and i am saying this openly that i don't relate to her anymore. The way bhaibala were locking their eyes, it was a plain disgusting sight for a Rishbala fan.

I want them to just end RK's character in this show and move ahead with bhaibala like this. Atleast we would have the option of stop watching.

Totally thrilling episode. It was such a wonderful episode. Look at it the way it was presented without any baggage of the camps currently everyone has parked themselves in. Radhaji is at Paddo's door trying her own way to find out about Madhu. Padmini gave her piece of mind. Asking Radhaji to first check with RK before thinking about Madhu. Meanwhile, Madhu and Sultan face off again and is very subtle and emotional. Piece by piece they are understanding each other, only to step back again. What comes as a slight shock to her was that Aryan has not seen his mother at all and has polio.

Finally Madhu wants to call her Mom and decides to walk away, arguing about her right to go wherever she wants. She was the first one to face off Bhujang's men, and what say. She makes sure by her acts that they doubt her intentions and land up where Sultan and co are hiding. Each scene is riveting, like a thriller movie. The precap is interesting too. What if the blood drop falls on the goon's bald head? We know the end game - Madhu will take Sultan and co to her home. But how? We need to watch tomorrow. Also, Bhujang might get first hand info about Madhu. Wow, I am too excited to see how the drama unfolds. And we have our RK returning to start his own bajaoing and stalking. Too much ahead! I am loving all this.
