Episode 228 Discussion: 25th March 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.
Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.

Sultan held Madhu's hand and all I could see was RK in the hospital waking up for the first time after the gunshot during Ganesh Visarjan.. He had held her like that, he had looked at her like that.. This is not done. But I will say this, I could feel for Madhu when her hands were shivering, when she kept swallowing when she kept saying she couldn't do this..

Padmnini, give your daughter a good talking to. My hopes for Madhu to acknowledge the danger lie with you for now. After that what Madhu does is upto her. But at least mkae her see the danger.. The good thing for now is that she had the sense to write a letter this time.. She is not going behind Padmini's back.

Madhu's speech to Sultan ... While there were some points on which I agree with Madhu, regarding Sultan's parenting, there were many I didn't get. Madhu was right about Aryan loosing his childhood, about Sultan training up him to be a solider, about Sultan not seeing that as a child Aryan has some limitations. But why has she made it her mission to help, no, teach him parenting? Does Aryan remind her of Trishna's lost childhood? When she said that Aryan was crying all night, did she think that Sultan did not know that? It is a part and parcel of his life as a gangster..

And Sultan backs off not because he agrees with her but because Madhu saved his life. And I think that Madhu sees it as him backing down to her arguments, and that he agrees with her.. I hope Sultan disabuses her of this notion soon.

On the other end, Bhujang finds out that Sultan is still alive though that description could fit almost anyone.. The lighter is more recognizable than I thought, or only Bhujang knows its history. I hope Madhu, Sultan, Aryan and Kaka make a quick getaway and don't end up in a gun fight.

Went through the written update! It will suffice for me, looking forward to everyone's reviews and discussions though! Not wanting to compulsively watch MB, even if its for a day is strangely liberating! I recommend it to others too and thank you CVs for this respite, just don't plan on making it permanent, if you get the gist of what I am implying!

Me too. I have decided that I will watch the episode when I do the EOD summary. I must tell you that I am curious to see MB and Sultan dialogue baazi with the "tamancha" and "Chakku" really taking the spotlight. I want to see Sultan's expressions and how different he was from RK...after all this is a drama of comparisons and contrasts...even if RK is missing from the scene, the CVs force us to remember the scenes in retro-comparison. I am really excited to see Sultan's facial expressions...but I think my excitement can definitely wait until evening. 😊

I watched the episode and liked the episode for its boldness and splendid action by all the characters involved. The episode is subtle attempt by the CV to move forward the story. The emotions are expressed excellently by our Madhu and Sultan. Even Kaka and Aryan chipped in with their solo action contribution.

Kaka prodded Madhu to take up the knife and hurry. Madhu delegates the houslon ke veer song to the kid Aryan, while she gathers strength to use the knife to remove the bullet. Very heart-rendering to see how Sultan holds her hand tightly and Madhu's expressions, as she finally takes off the bullet. Kaka rushes to bandage the unconscious Sultan. Aryan is happy and Madhu is relieved. Kaka is ecstatic. Sultan is saved. When Sultan gains conscious and doesn't find her around him, he thinks Madhu turned traitor. But our dear Madhu is waiting to lecture Sultan in her own powerful way. It was a superb scene to watch her dare Sultan to shoot her. You have to see the scene to understand the power acting here.

Bhujang is gaining strength and money. Finally he gets to know Sultan is alive. Perhaps we see this side more tomorrow as he tries to track Sultan. The face-off will happen again in the future. But for now, Madhu is with Sultan - so we can be assued Sultan is safe.

The precap is continuation of Sultan doubting Madhu's intentions. He is paranoid about Madhu turning out to be a traitor in his camp.

I am interested to see how Madhu saves Sultan further by running away from the location, as Bhujang might find out the location.

Overall, a good episode interjected by superb acting, innocence, and trust.

chodo bhi ye gussa Madhu ke lecture se bachao 🤣

What is Bhujang's nature of business? from pocket maar sena to smuggling cocaine to extortion? where is he spending his money that he has to live in a ghaas phoos hideout?😕 pocket maarna is fine, boond boond se ghada bharta hai afterall..abhi tak he didn't care to find out whether Sultan is dead or alive? Sultan overestimated him then 😆 chalo, he now knows toh we know ke Sultan's hideout is under attack and he can safely take shelter in Madhu's chawl bec. Madhu ko Aryan ki chinta hai 😆

kaka doing a perfect hamming act 👏 asking Madhu to dig deep into the wound and the bullet will come out automatically 🤣 okay ! and he asks Madhu to hurry up otherwise poison will spread...so from morning till night, poison was waiting for hauslon se veer madhu ? usko dekhkar poison ne spread hona tha?

anyhow, the bullet was out and Sultan 1 min. mein theek ho gaye..😆 why did medical science not learn about hauslon se veer prayer ? who was that idiot who discovered anesthesia?

Madhubala left a parting note to her mother..WHY didn't Padmini read the full letter 😡 itna kya tha likhne ke liye? 😃

Madhubala lecturing Sultan again...now that shoot me wala scene was a liftoff from Ishaqzaade and only Zoya cud do justice to it...saare duplicate fail hai 🤢 why does Madhu have to lecture Sultan? is this the right time? i was ROFL , sachi , when she said "nahi, main kahoongi jab tak tum insaan ki tarah nahi ban jaate" 🤣 plz Bhai, ab toh maan jao...i'm not ready for the 6th round...spare us the horror !

i actually did not feel like writing the summary because I spent all day thinking of what to write in the METa section. Am exhausted with all the excitement...😆

But am I addicted to this drama?? Resounding 'yes'. Because I watched the episode and thought it was theek thaak. nothing spectacular. But not exactly filler. The drama queen is building up the future drama in this episode. And everyone including her mother knows...bhookamp aa raha hai😆.

I liked:

The scene of Madhu removing the bullet, the way she handled Aryan, her own fear
Padmini's expression when she read the letter...classic, what is this girl getting into...same thing that all of us are experiencing😆
Bhujang's adda
Madhu facing the gun...she does'nt want to live. this girl. She has lost her desire to live, that's why she is able to face the gun. She is going through the motions of life...she is not living it. That's what I gathered at least. I could be wrong.

Did not like:

Sultan holding madhu's hand tightly. Nooo..thats not allowed. She is RK's ex -biwi for life. That was deliberate, trying to tease us, like they do with RK-Dipali.
Madhu's bhaashan on parenting

Confused: Sultan's eyes are blue?? i thought they were green?

Random:

Bhujang knows Sultan is alive. Here we see, groundwork being laid for the next two weeks
And VD is back. Our drama king and queen will be back in full form, guys, buck up. Keep a stiff upper lip.
