I have checked the last two days to see if there is a Biochemcial pregnancy campaign or foundation or any such thing. I have found nothing of the sort.

TV 9's speculation on Krithika Kamra being the reason for the twist is utter rubbish. Given that a baby bump or a baby are not likely to be shown, how is a mere announcement going to harm her career? So, that is not it either!

After spending two sleepless nights trying to understand what could have been going through the minds of the CVs when they came up with this idea, I can think of only one reason.

They wanted to give Nidhi a life lesson. They want her to understand that a baby is not like instant noodles. Nature chooses the time and place when the blessing is to be delivered. And what nature gives, nature can also take away.

Forget about the logic of biochemical pregnancy. When did this show ever abide by medical logic? As I see it, they want Nidhi to yearn for this blessing. They want her to have the baby not for Ashutosh, not for BB, not for DB or for anyone else. They want her to long and yearn for this child and thus appreciate it to the fullest if and when the blessing comes her way. If this pregnancy had fructified, she would never have known what it means to long for a child. It would have seemed like something that she could have whenever she chose. As easy as picking a product off the shelf!

Nidhi made that statement about nature paying her back for her decision to focus on her career instead of fulfilling her husband's desire. While it is an incredibly regressive statement, women do blame themselves at a time like this. However, it is sad that nobody including Ashutosh thought to rebuke her on that stupid statement.

Anyway, the point is if this track is indeed a life lesson for Nidhi? Is this where the CVs are trying to go? I am unable to come up with any other logical explanation for this twist at this stage.

Whatever, it was a stupid stunt to pull because four episodes are hardly enough to do justice to such a track. In the process, they have only ended up hurting the sentiments of hundreds of loyal fans.

But, as always, is this a case of misplaced priorities? A condition that has plagued the writers from Day 1!

If this is the case, they will definitely end the show with a pregnancy announcement with Nidhi fully appreciating how blessed she is! Let us see if this happens!

Addendum - Somebody learning a life lesson is not necessarily punishment. We keep learning every single day from things that happen to us and around us. We evolve and grow as we learn. For any woman, there cannot be a more cruel blow than losing a child, even if it is unborn. Such things happen around us in real life and we are unable to question the ways of God or nature, We accept them for we have no choice. We have neither the wisdom nor the ability to understand the mysterious ways in which they work. However, this is a show written by mere mortals like us. In analysing the happenings on a show, you are also trying to understand how a creator's mind works. So, you keep looking for logic or reason or answers. This post was an attempt at just that. I hope people understand the perspective from which it is written and not interpret it in ways it is not meant!

sujatha, though this track was hated, and certainly did not need this insensivity at this point, I liked the convo between ashni on the park bench when ashu said he is no hurry for fatherhood, and then recollected how he was scared when nidhi was searching car keys in his cabin, sure that she would break his kila, and after that a home would be built. This shows the maturity and understanding in their relation which has progressed in the times, which no mallika can break. Though the yearning for a baby was more in ashu, he placated nidhi, this track brought them further closer, if nothing at all 😊

True Sanya!

While Ashutosh yearned for the child more, he had chosen to put his desires aside to fulfil hers. And now, when his dream has been shattered even before it could take full shape, he chooses to put her feelings ahead of this. For long now, Ashutosh has evolved into an extremely understanding husband, one whom any woman would consider lucky to be blessed with. While this is indeed a positive development, the fact that he has been rewarded with heartbreak for this change is ironical! Why is a man who has found happiness so late in life still being denied his heart's desire? Every other issue pales in comparison. This is my grouse. Life as we know is unfair. But fiction is what provides vicarious pleasure, a sense of happiness. When this does not happen, the disappointment is certainly crushing!

Not that this is some Ray masterpiece that exposes us to life realities. This is a feel good soap at the end of the day! Anyway, I am waiting to see if my logic plays out. Or if as usual, this is yet another illogical twist!

best life lesson for nidhi ,from my POV ,would have been she was told that she cant become a mum ..forever ..
that would have been the best punishment for wanting sometime to concentrate on her career !

Given that the show's makers have a history of disappointing their viewers, I wouldn't be too hopeful!
