Chapter # 2
My Aunt, my mother's sister, Garima, they both were like best-friends. They were always together, chained-liked together. They went to school together. They were in the same section. They even got married together, at the same time, in the same house with two brothers i.e. Shashi and Shaykher. My mom, Jiya, was married to my dad, Shaykher. And my Aunt Garima to Shashi uncle. We were a happy family.
We went to Delhi; it did take me some to adjust to a whole new place. This was the place I had to live in for the rest of my life now, this was my family and now my Aunt and Uncle had legally adopted me as their daughter and Payal's younger sister.
Payal was a shy yet beautiful girl. We were close just like my mother and my aunt. The difference was just that we were two different cities. But we did visit each-other on weekends. Payal wanted to become a doctor. She used to force me to become the patient and then operate me as if I am having a surgery. Well then I almost got used to it, being a patient. We had promised each-other that every weekend we will play this doctor-doctor thing. I had agreed. She was 3 years older than me.
Now there are no weekends. She is sharing her room with me. She hugged me when the adoption papers were done. She was happy that she had me as a sister.
Soon, years passed by, my Dadi had told me that sadness won't ever help in forgetting your loved ones. I started to work on her advices and I became the happy-go-lucky girl. I used to smile always, whatever the situation may be, I was there to support my family. My amma, my bao-jee, my Dadi and my best friend-sister Payal.
Payal had almost completed her course of becoming a doctor and I wanted to become an editor-in-chief in which my family was fully supporting me. It had been six months since Akash had met Payal. Akash was also a doctor but he was also helping his brother-cousin in some business. He was a simple, sweet and a shy guy just like Payal. They were like meant to be together. I was happy for both of them. They were soon going to tell their families.
My life changed the day I had to go to the interview, AR Designs! It was the most famous fashion designing company. I wasn't interesting in the modeling section but as an editor I had been called.
Just a mere mistake of mine had changed my life. I met Arnav Singh Raizada.
Thankyou SO much for such an amazing feed back. You all made me smile. And btw for those who think this is a dark one then it isn't. Its going to be a little sad in the beginning but it will slowly form into something. Its pretty shitty though. I was listening to sad songs and the idea just popped out of no where. 😛 Hope you like Ch#2
