am I a basher if I don't like T's acting?

This is a discussion forum about a television show. Which comprises of actors. So of course, if we don't like how a person is acting, we have a right to talk about it.
But now I feel that the fans of the new actress are putting the viewers that don't like her in a complete corner by coming on our threads, commenting and then reporting us to mods!
Its unfair coz at sum point or another all d actors/characters have been criticized. I don't see why T should be special n why we can't freely appreciate Prats- just like we appreciate Avika! Feel afraid to write general acting and directing criticism of bv coz sum1 might say that I'm targeting T.

Feel like an eagle's waiting to pounce on me even as a write this.

I have been criticing Toral's performance after every episode I do not see any one coming and telling me to stop criticising her.I have made enough no of posts to say that I as a viewer am not been able to connect to T's Anandi.Nobody told me to stop making such posts.

No u will not be a basher if u don't like Toral's acting. Healthy criticism is always welcome. U will only be a basher if u bash toral relentlessly on her looks .

If u say u are not able to connect with her or she has to improve her acting, it is called as criticism which is alright. But if anyone keeps calling her names like auntiji, sack of potatoes and shit like that, its bashing. And bashers r not allowed here,.

And tell me one thing.

When some fans say that Prats is a human being, she shouldn't be made to work like a dog for 15 hrs through the week, people scoff about it. Hey that's how the entertain industry is, you got to take it or leave it.

Well my friends its the daily soap industry, its is ruled by looks and acting. Even the colors head said that looks win half the battle & the rest is done by good acting. So then if viewers are criticizing Toral for her looks/ acting why is she suddenly a 'human being' not to be subjected to criticism.

Double standards, anyone?

The industry has some way of working. Its based mostly on good looks, acting & looong working hours. Either accept all features or nothing.

And Toral is not bashed for her looks by themselves, its because her look doesn't look in line with Anandi, people are unable to visualize her as Anandi. These comparisons are bound to happen for a every replacement. I am sure she will look decent in some other mature mother like character.

i think most of the members wen they criticise toral on" looks",,,,,,,,,its mainly coz her looks are not apt for anandi...or so they feel...even i do...plus many were ready to give her a chance...I was also ready to give her a chance...i had faith in BV's team...they must have seen SOMETHING in toral to replace prats...but i was greatly disheartened...all my enthusiasm on supporting Sid n BV went kaput!

She is not a kid, she has been working long time & as many have said before, she should be willing to go through everything if she has decided to be part of the industry 😛. So she should not be a human being and be mature enough to understand she will face criticism on looks and acting both if people don't like her. Just like Prats should have known that she would have to work long hours while being part of the industry! Right? 😉

Also if I don't consider looks at all, her expressions are even more weird.

and the funny thing is that all those people who were bashing Pratyusha up, down and around without chosing the words, are now the same who are trying to forbid us of having and expressing our own opinion...now they are moral policing us😆
