Chapter 15
It was lunch time , and because of Nani and Di's insistence , Khushi decided to stay back for lunch . So everybody except Mamaji was settled in that big dinning table of theres and started chit chatting and eating. Khushi was happy and there were specifically three reasons behind it , the very first and foremost the ring , yes the ring on her ring finger shining brightly giving the assurance of Arnav and khushi being together , 2nd was this family love , she too had a family but never experienced this love , as always her bauji used to remain busy and so having time for his family and having lunch and dinner together was something out of the frame and third and another important reason , was that Arnav 's family have accepted her and soon she will be getting married , but what made her restless was that his family didn't knew about her bauji's horrible deed , and if they get to know , will they accept her like this only , with open arms . She decided that she needed to talk with Arnav regarding this.
She was brought out of her inner thoughts by Nani who said
"Chote humne panditji se baat ki , aur unhone kaha ki aagle do din mein ek aacha muhrat hai , par uske baad 6 mahine tak aur nahi hai." [Chote I talked with Panditji and he told me that after 2 days there is a good time , but after that there is no more till 6 months.]
And before anybody could say anything Arnav said
"Haaan toh hum 2 din baad hi shaadi karenge.. No problem." [Ok then we will get married after 2 days.]
Anjali shaking her head
"Chote !!! tum bhi na…. tum kab se shadi ke liye itna bechain hone lage………" [Chote since when you started getting this excited for marriage.]
"Di ! pls ……"
Khushi sat quietly as she didn't knew what to say , so she let him handle the situation and moreover she was happy that soon she will be getting married to Arnav and will be coming to Shantivan , but then arose the question , that she in all this excitement had totally forgotten
"Chote Khushi bitiya ke aama bauji se bhi toh puchna hoga ki koi problem hai ya nahi , bitiya ki shaadi hai aur itni jaldi mein…" [Chote we have to ask her parents too , whether there is a problem or not ? Its their daughter's marriage.]
"Nani you don't worry , koi problem nahi hogi…."
Khushi looked at him with questioning eyes and he just nodded giving her assurance , while Nani said
"Phir thik hai aaj sham ko hum Khushi bitiya ke ghar jayenge shagun lekar. Kyu thik hai na Khushi bitiya……." [Then its decided today in the evening we will go to her house with Shagun , is it ok Khushi bitiya ?]
Khushi slightly nodded her head and said
"Ji Nani !!!!!!"
When Anjali said
"Nani zara dekhiye toh Khushi ji kitni Sharma rahi hai ………. Khushi ji aab do din baad se aap humari Khushi bhabhi hongi…….." [Nani just see how Khushiji is blushing…. Khushiji now after two days you will become my Khushi babhi..]
And Khushi blushed further while everybody around the table laughed and Arnav bent a bit towards her and said
"But mere liye toh tum Mrs. Khushi Arnav Raizada hogi….." and hearing her to be name , she blushed more .
After finishing lunch Arnav decided to drive her to her home and once they got seated in his car , she asked
"Arnav tumne ghar mein kyu nahi bataya ki ki bauji ne hi ………" [Arnav why have you not told about Bauji ???]
"Khushi leave it , abhi itni khushi ke mauke par yeh sab baat karna…………"
"Nahi Arnav mai bas yeh keh rahi thi ki , ghar walon ko yeh baat pata nahi hai isiliye they accepted me this happily…… par aagar unko pata hota toh .. who…." [No Arnav I am just telling that , they don't know that's so they accepted me happily but if they come to know then….]
"Toh who tumhe accept nahi karte yehi bolna chahti ho na?" He said and she nodded
He hold her hands over the her lap and said
"Khushi I love you… and yeh bat tumhari uss shashi gupta ki beti hone se change nahi ho jata… I know ghar mein sab ko pata hota toh woh log drama karte etc etc , but kya jarurat hai…… its not needed…. Jis baat ko sab bhul chuke hai … use phir se yaad dilane ka kya fayda…… bahut muskil se Di normal hue hai… So I don't want , aur waise bhi yeh baat sirf tumhe aur mujhe pata hai.. and we are not gonna tell them , so its solved ok ????" [Khushi I love you and it doesn't change with the thing that you are his daughter…. I know if they knew they would have done a lot of drama but whats the need , its past and its better to forget it , and moreover Di with great difficulty have come out of it , so I don't want to remind her all this again ok ?]
Khushi nodded and said
"Ok !!!!" and he smiled and brought her hands near his lips and planted a kiss right above her ring and she smiled and Khushi said
"Arnav I love you too , and your family too…" and he chuckled and said
"I know… everybody loves them…"
And soon they were parked infront of her house . Arnav looked at her and said
"Tum aandar jao… mai aata hoon…"
And Khushi nodded her head and got down from the car , she remembered , the previous time Arnav came to drop her was the time , they were parting , but today they will be getting together again , as today he has come to tell her family about him and her , no no about THEM .She smiled and taking a deep breathe went towards the main door , while Arnav looked at her and started the car engine .
Khushi entered her house and saw Shashi sitting in the hall doing some stuff , she wanted to avoid him and go back to her room , but she knew that facing him was necessary since she has to tell about her marriage and soon Arnav will join her too. She looked at Shashi for once and then called
"Amma , jiji bahar aao …. Mujhe aap sabse kuch baat karni hai" and that is when Shashi looked up at her with angry eyes.
HE got up from the sofa and came near her and that's when Garima and Payal also came into the room and Garima asked
"Beta itna der laga diya… aur tere phone ko kya hogaya tha ????? aur teri who dost kaisi hai , who thik hai na abhi ?" [Beta why you got so late ??? and what about your phone ??? and your friend who met with an accident , is she ok ???] Garima asked all worried
Khushi was about to answer when Shashi said
"Pehle pucho toh aapni beti se kaha se aarahi hai ??? kis ke saath raat bitayi , kiske ghar mein thi yeh puri rat ???" [First ask your daughter where was she , from where she is coming ??? in whose house she was in the night ?]
Khushi hearing all this questions shockingly looked at her bauji , she never thought that her bauji will ask something like this against her when Garima said
"Aap yeh sab kya anab sanab bol rahe hai…"
"Anab sanab mai nahi bol raha hoon…. Anab sanab kaam toh yeh kar rahi hai aajkal… kis ke saath kaha raat bita kar aarahi hai… pucho isse…" [I am not speaking rubbish , she is doing all rubbish things , ask her she was with whom , with whom she had spent her night ask her ?]
Khushi stood there all still , she didn't knew what to reply when Garima came infront of her and holding her from her shoulder said
"Yeh tere bauji kya bol rahe hai … kya yeh sach hai ??? Kiske saath thi tu kal raat bata…. Tune toh kaha tha ki teri kisi dost ka accident ho gaya hai aur tu…" [What is your bauji saying ???? is this all true ??? with whom you were yesterday ??? you told that your friend has met with an accident then….]
"Amma meri baat suno .. who accident sach mein hua tha … mai who …."
"Khushi sach sach bata baaat kya hai……."
"Garima tum yeh sab choro bas yeh pucho ki who kal raat kisi aadmi ke saath thi…… pucho … kyu Khushi bata ????"
Khushi was feeling all humiliated when she heard his voice from back saying
"Mai bata ta hoon…." And with that came inside the great Arnav Singh Raizada.
Both Garima and Shashi looked at him with shock , as seeing ASR in there house will shock everyone. Arnav came inside and stood beside Khushi and slowly in front of her family took her hands in his and said
"Main bata ta hoon…. But use pehle mai kuch dikhana chahta hoon " and with that he picked her left hand and showed everyone her ring and said
"Yeh dehka aaplogo ne???" with that he showed her hand with the ring "yeah maine pehnaya hai Khushi ko … aur who kal puri raat mere saath mere ghar mein thi coz mera accident hogaya tha , and she took care of me…." [I have made her wear this… and she was with me… in my place coz I had an accident yesterday…. and she took care of me…. ]
Garima and Shashi both were looking confused still now. Garima was confused seeing him and Shashi was confused as he never imagined that something like this was coming on his way. Arnav being the perfect and successful business man he was , he could read people's face and turning towards Shashi said
"Ya .. mai yaha isiliye aaya hoon coz I want to tell , that we both love eachother and we want to marry , I took her to meet my family and they accepted her , so theres no big deal I guess" and turning towards Garima he spoke softly
"I know aunty aap soch rahi hongi ki woh mere saath kal raat but aunty firstly we are getting married , so use koi problem nahi hona chahiye and moreover Khushi itne saalon tak States mein rahi hai… so bahar I guess u know yeh sab chalta hai… so… don't mind." And Garima hearing this nodded , and Arnav pulling Khushi a bit towards her said
"Aunty mai aapse Khushi ka haath mangna chahta hoon… I want to marry her… and moreover I promise ki mai use humesha khush rakhunga" and turning towards shashi he said
"Aur waise bhi mere pass itna paisa toh hai hi ki Khushi ko main puri life khush rakh sakta hoon… so I guess Mr. Gupta aapko koi problem nahi hoga if I marry Khushi and become your damad , and waise bhi hum dono k business mein bhi iss wajah se help hoga isn't it ????"
"Haan haan kaun nahi chahega ki uski beti Mrs. Raizada bane aakhir tum itne famous jo ho… "
"Right ???"
"So mai aaplog ko yeh batane aaya tha ki sham ko meri family shagun lekar aayegi…. So will see you then… mai chalta hoon." [So I wanted to tell you that in the evening my family will come with Shagun.]
And both Garima and Shashi nodded and Khushi went outside to drop him , while he got inside the car and said
"Khushi I am sorry but yeh sab…"
"Arnav its ok… I am happy that tum thik time par aake sab sambhal liye.. coz aama jab mujse puch rahi thi… ti was not in a state to talk…"
"Its ok sweetheart…. Take rest , sham ko milte hai…" and with that he started the car and drove away.
Khushi looked at his car and then smiled and went inside , which was all seen by Shashi from his study and he fumed in anger.
Khushi as soon as she went inside was hugged by Garima and Payal and they both were very happy for her , and she talked with them for few minutes and smiling went to her room. She went inside the room and set her phone in charge and took out his diary and looking at it said
"Finally Hum dono ka dream pura hone wala hai… I will be getting married to Arnav and in two days I will be Mrs. Khushi Arnav Raizada…" and that's when the door of her room opened and Shashi came inside.
She instantly hid the diary and turning towards Shashi said
"Bauji aap yaha ???"
"Haan mai… tumse kuch baat karni thi Khushi…"
She decided that as Arnav said its high time she should forgive his father and as she was going to start her new life soon , she needed his blessings and so she said
"Aayi na bauji baithiye aur batayiye kya batana tha …."
Shashi noticed the change in her tone and he went inside and calmly sat beside her and said
"Beta tu Arnav ko mana kar de…."
"Kya ???" she asked confused
"Beta mai tere liye koi aur aacha ladka dhoondh doonga par tu Arnav se shadi karne ke liye mana kar de…" [I will find a good boy for you , but you don't marry Arnav.]
"Par bauji kyu ??? Aapne abhi toh thodi der pehle kaha…"
"Haan mai janta hoon…. Par aab bol raha hoon , mai ek aisa ladka dhun doonga jo hum sab ke saath hi rehega…. Bas aaj sham ko jab Arnav aayega toh tab tu use shaadi karne se mana kar dena…."
"Nahi Bauji I love Arnav , and I will marry him…"
"Maine kaha na Khushi ki tu use shadi nahi karegi matlab nahi karegi……….."
"Par bauji aise kaise nahi koi toh reason hoga….."
"Nahi bas maine kaha isliye" and with that he got up and left the room.
Khushi sat here for a while and took her cell and wrote few lines and sent it to him and soon she received a message.
Don't worry , He will agree .
She trusted him and she knew that he will do something , so without doing anything more she lied down to take a bit rest.
It was evening when Raizada family finally arrived to her house , everybody got down and soon they entered the house. Garima welcomed them and made them sit and then called for Shashi , Shashi was coming all cheerful knowing that Khushi will refuse him and his problems will be sorted that when he saw someone and stopped on his way. She was sitting there smiling at Arnav , he looked at the lady again and didn't fell to recognize that it was none other than but Devyani Raizada , and as if thunder had hit him , he stopped on his way.
What was Devyani Raizada doing here , and that also with Arnav Singh Raizada . Arnav !!!! Arnav !!! He is Arnav Malik and he understood it , as he remembered meeting Devyani ji before , he remembered how she two to three times came to his house whenever she visited Lucknow and now seeing her with Arnav , he got shocked as what he knew was Arnav Malik as dead , but he never knew that this Arnav Singh Raizada was none other than Arnav Malik.
All these while Arnav was sitting there and was carefully reading Shashi Gupta 's expression , and Arnav understood that seeing Nani , finally Shashi Gupta have got this well that he was only Arnav Malik. So Arnav got up and started walking towards him , and Shashi stood there all still , but he passed him soon and went towards the stairs and Shashi turned to see Khushi coming down the stairs.
Arnav went towards the stairs and smiled seeing Khushi in a beautiful red saree and holding her hand said
"Somebody is looking gorgeous and is dressed to kill me…"
Khushi smiled and blushed a bit while Arnav slowly but steadily kissed her on her cheek making her blush a little more and making Shashi witness this. He lingered his kiss a bit and then looking into her eyes said
"Chale … everybody is waiting to see to be Mrs. Raizada" and Khushi smiled and nodded and looked at her bauji for once and holding his hand went towards the hall where everybody was sitting and chatting. Arnav brought her there and made her sit and then excused himself for a minute and walked to Shashi and said
"Aab tak toh aap jaan hi chuke honge meri dusri pehchaan… so its better ki aap yeh shaadi hone de…."
And telling that he returned and sat beside Khushi. Shashi looked at all and Garima trying to behave normal smiled and came towards him said
"Aap yaha kyu khare hai… chaliye woh sab aapka intezaar kar rahe hai…" and Shashi nodded his head and went with Garima to behave like a proper host.
Arnav sat beside Khushi , took her hand in his and made circles with his fingers while everybody went on talking , Khushi time to time looked at him with an expression of What and he would give her an expression of nothing and he would continue his work and finally Khushi moving towards him whishpered
"Arnav bauji shaadi ???"
"Khushi don't worry maine unn se baat kar li hai.. and he has agreed… He has no more problem with it, now be cheerful and be happy for our wedding… waise bhi sab kuch fast forwards mode mein hone wala hai…" and with that both laughed slowly.
Anjali saw this and bending towards Ananya said
"Ananya zara jakar aapni mamu ko thoda disturb kar na…"
Ananya glared at her mom raising an eyebrow , just the way Arnav does and said
"Mom please… kuch toh sharm karo…. I don't want to disturb mamu and mami… mai koi kabab mein haddi nahi banna chahti.. so keep your silly ideas upto you only."
And Anjali looked at her daughter with her jaw droping , she never knew she will get a reply like this from her , and so she said
"Thik hai…. Thik hai.. tumhare Arnav ko tumhari Khushi Mami le le rahi hai.. isse tumhe koi problem nahi hai …. Jealousy bhi nahi hai.. aachi baat hai…….."
"Mom cmon… Arnav humesha mera hi hai.. and phir sharing karna koi buri baat nahi hoti and I love them both and they too love me , so theres no problem.. now aap chup chap baitho."
And Anjali looked at her daughter saying all this and nodded and started talking with the others again.
It was time for the Raizada's to go , after deciding everything , they were ready to go and were heading outside when Arnav came back and went to Shashi and said
"Shashi Gupta…. Isse meri warning hi samajh lo…. Meri aur Khushi ki shaadi rukwane ki kosis mat karna.. coz aagar meri usse shaadi nahi hue .. toh mai media ko kuch aise clips dunga tumhari beti aur mere .. ki jo use barbad kardega aur koi bhi use shadi karne ke liye taiyaar nahi hoga.. and as a result Khushi ki shaadi nahi hogi.. and I guess tum yeh baat mujhse bhi aache se jaante ho ki aagar uski shaadi nahi hue toh kya hoga ….. tumhara kya hoga……. So its better you don't try anything foolish." [Get it as my warning.. don't try to stop our marriage….. coz if we don't get to marry eachother then I will release few clips that will destroy Khushi's life and nobody will agree to marry her , and I guess u know this better that if she doesn't get married then what you will have to face , what loss you will have to suffer.]
And with that giving a final look to him he started moving out of the house when Khushi hold his hand and said
"Tum phir se bauji se kya baat karne gaye the…"
He touching his hand on her cheeks said
"Kuch nahi bas yeh bol raha tha ki shaadi ki arrangements kaise karwane hai… u know sab jaldi hoga na….."
"Ohhh I love you Arnav…."
And with that she hugged him and he hugged her back looking at Shashi and said
"I love you too Khushi I love you too….."
And then parting fom the hug he kissed her on her forehead and said
"Take care… kal meri dresser aayegi tumhara shaadi ka joda lekar ok ????"
Khushi nooded and blushed…
And he giving a final look to Shashi left the place.
Next part will be the last part.. and I dont know when I am gonna update that... probably next saturday , i.e 30th or after that , as i am not in my home , so its not possible for me to give any update before I am back.
