One of the best episodes of the show! I am not sure how I sat through the whole episode without completely breaking down.
What a send off to Gayatri's character. Thank You CVs for giving us, Gayatri, Yash and Aarti a closure with regards to Gayatri's behavior the last few days. It would have killed all of us had Gayatri died without being able to acknowledge that the bond she shares with Yash surpasses any blood relationship.
SP's silent devastation, Yash's more obvious heart break, Aarti embracing Yash to take away his pain, Yash and Aarti's quiet reassurance to SP when SP was sitting outside the operation theatre all was done so beautifully.
But best of all was at the end, Gayatri's realization and acknowledgment of what Yash means to her. Thank You Zahida Ji for playing Gayatri. You made us love her, wanting to hug her and wanting to throw something at her from time to time. I am glad that the CVs choose not to replace the actress because nobody could have done justice to Gayatri's role like Zahida ji.
So, alvida Gayatri/Zahida from all of us until we meet again...
Here is a dedication to a mother who loved her son insanely and lost sight of that love temporarily in order to serve justice to another. Only to realize that she didn't have to push her son away to accept another. Alas, it was too late but maybe if there is a next birth these two will be once again be reborn as mother and son. 😭
