Present

His piercing gaze,the horrifying lift and sudden blink of the light made geet very scared.she cocooned herself in the far corner and started to weep.

Maan swiftly came down the stairs to the lift and just then the lift's door opened...before he could gather anything...a small form jumped into his arms and started to weep hiding her face in his chest.

Maan was feeling as if his life was stuck there.It was a simple thing...Due to power cut the lift was stuck for some minutes...as soon as the generator takes control everything comes back to normal.But Geet's fear made him freaked out.when he heard her whimper in the lift through the microphone ...his heart squeezed with panic.

But when she hugged him with all her strength and brushed her face on his chest...he thought it was another dream.He became so satisfied...!She hugged him...she seeked shelter in him...made his heart jump in joy.

He immediately hugged her back...completely consuming her in his arms...he put his lips on her head and whispered,''it's ok..
... I'm here...ur out of it...nothing bad will happen now.''

Suddenly Maan got alarmed feeling someone's watching them.He looked ahead finding an old person looking at them with a mixed emotion...looking at him...Maan slowly pulled her away from him and cupped her face..her face was red and she was still hiccuping.

Maan wanted to kiss her...to take out her fear...but seeing the other person he composed himself and wiped her tears away...and moved her lose strands from her teary face.

'tum daro maat...it was just a power cut...5 minutes bhi nehi hua tha...achcha chalo let me drop u to the car...'' but geet slowly pushed him away and went down the stairs...it was evident in her eyes that She was deeply hurt by his behavior lately.

Maan helplessly saw her going away...she was continuously rubbing her eyes and sniffing.

''Mr.Khurrana,I'm Harinath Handa...founder of Handa industries...I personally came to do the meeting today.''

Maan removed his gaze from geet and looked at the old man.He too was looking at geet.He was continuously looking at the way where geet went.Maan would have gone mad if he were any younger.the person was of above 70...so he didn't think otherwise.

Maan led him to the conference room...and asked for his team...but Mr.Handa said he will do the meeting alone.He didn't brought any team.Maan's team then started the meeting and eventually they all the shocked and impressed learning that Mr.Handa is a one man army.He was a jack of all trades...he was magnificently perfect in all sectors and with his participation the meeting went smoothly and quickly.

Maan was impressed and he started to respect him and pitty him...at this age he is still working despite his 2 ''good for nothing'' sons.

'Khurrana Cons. Will be very lucky to work personally with u Mr.Handa and I really mean it this time.'Maan said shaking his hand with him.

'Pleasure's all mine beta.I too am impressed to see ur leadership. quite a company U've got there Mr.Khurana'

''Please Call me Maan.''maan politely said to him.

''Thank u.i appreciate it...I believe we'll meet soon.do come with ur sons sometimes.''saying this maan moved to go but Mr. Handa again stretched his words to keep maan there.

'who said they'll be involved in this project??I am involved in this so no helping hand is needed..My assistant and my personal team will deal with it.My sons r not welcome where i personally supervise somthing.'Mr.Handa said with a smile.

Maan looked at him carefully...for a split of a second he saw some other emotion in her eyes.but he quoted it swiftly.

'As i am kinda free this lunch...lets have lunch beta.'

'I am extremely sorry but i have some other plans... ''

'..During lunch hours?' Mr.Handa lifted one eye brow.

'I have to...have...lunch.'Maan couldn't find any excuse in front of him.

Mr.Handa laughed out loud and said,'Beta I am too asking u too have lunch with me...lets go to my hotel then we'll..'

'Actually i'm having home made today...'

'fantastic...then i believe i can join u...'Mr.Handa smacked his back and led him out of the room.

Maan rolled his eyes and led him to his top floor's suit.Maan wanted to go to his home and spend time with his geet and wanted to passify her in a 'naughty' way...but he couldn't say no to Mr.Handa...he seems a very potentiated person and KC could really use a help of someone like him...but moreover he is a very nice person and he seems to like maan too...so there is no chance to behave otherwise with him he thought.

Mr.Handa settled himself on the dining table.and helped himself with the food.The servants served maan the lunch that geet brought and he became sad remembering how he scolded her...how could he!She was so hurt!She took it to her little heart...but how can he tell her why he did that...

'Ahem ahem...u seem to be lost...did i hampered ur plans beta?'Mr.Handa said smiling.

'No...no..plz continue..'maan said and looked at his menu.There were 4 parathas and some other items...the parathas were nice and round...but one was not rounded...and was burnt...by seeing it anyone could understand whoever made it...it was her first time...

Maan smiled seeing it...and took it in his plate...he was grinning ear to ear looking at it...it was geet's way of showing thanks he guessed.

'Made by someone who stole ur heart right?'Mr.Handa looked at the paratha and said hiding his smile.

Maan caughed a little to avoid the convo...but Mr.Handa said,'when my wife wanted to bash me...she used to cook parathas like this...'and laughed loud.

'no no...she actually doesn't know how to cook...it's her first attempt.'Maan immediately defended.

'Oh she's parents ki laadli then i guess.'Mr.Handa said with a smile but he was being nervous...what if she is not the person he was thinking...

'she is indeed a darling...anyways Mr.Handa i believe we should discuss about the budget limit cause this project may be a...'and he went on with the meeting.

Mr.Handa too continued to discuss...but inside he was feeling very anxious to know about her.it's been 3 hours since he saw her but he couldn't gather any information about her.he needs to know something about her to confirm his believe.

He too quickly finished his eating and in between started to look around the room looking for geet's photo,but he found none.

They finished lunch and and shook hands to bid themselves goodbye.

Mr.Handa suddenly turned to maan after moving to go...

'don't mind asking beta...But who is that little girl with me in the lift?'He asked him being a little awkward.

Maan became stiffed and puzzled...he was thinking will it be right to reveal their relation as husband wife.

But his next words made him stop thinking...

'Is she your little sister Annie or relative?'

''NO..!!!I mean No...no...she's not my relative...she's my bride and she has no one other than me.''Maan composed himself and said the rest with determination.

Mr.Handa said,''oh apologies...It's just that She was so small comparing to you and i thought she might be...khair...She seems very naive...and must say,brilliant choice Mr.Khurrana'' Mr,Handa smiled proudly and patted maan's back and went out of the suit.

What he needed to know was gathered...Mr.Handa smiled in peace...after 16 years...finally he was in peace...His youngest grand daughter is alive...alive...and looked just like her mother.But she cries like how her grandmother used to cry at her childhood.

His blood...his pyaari geet...is alive...he took out his handkerchief from his pocket and wiped his eyes continuously.so much to do...and so much to settle!

are they really mismatched? Doesn't he deserve her?...is she way to much younger for him?Is he forcefully keeping her with him..??just for his obsession??

He was obsessed of his geet.He too knows about it..but his heart bled thinking she's being living in a far more matured environment than hers...she's just a kid...a just 18year old kid...and she is wearing a sari??!

He felt so guilty!she is being forced to leave her childhood for him and in no way he is gonna tolerate this...

Like it or not...she has to be with him...but she has the total freedom.she can enjoy her childhood...thats her right.

Maan called a mall and asked to sent clothes for teenage girls.

Maan was frustrated with the thoughts...he looked over his suits mini bar and glanced at his favorite brands...it was his fav pass time...drinking with or without companion.whatever the cause might be...good or bad...he used to drink plenty.

Today he was sad...but not idiot enough to go to that hell again...he gave a last glance at the bar and went out to continue his office works again.

And here geet came back and got angry at herself...who told her to go to maan's office?and y did she take the lift alone?she knows she's alone in the dark??she just made a paratha with the maids and wanted to show it and say thank u and sorry as he thought she scolded him last night.

But,He just pounced on him like she was some punching bag.Geet became again sad and went to the study room.Her books, table, cabinets were newly placed and it looked lovely!she smiled ear to ear.

She sat on the table and looked through the syllabus...and started to study.the studies were not that difficult so she managed well.

She studied for 4 hours and then went to the garden.she sat on the bench and looked around...it's not a garden...it's more of a park...all those big large trees and brick pathways...

...the well on the right...the tube well just beside it...the beautiful vibrant colored flowers...the sound of birds singing here and there was wonderful...she took a deep breath and smiled...she wished if Mylo and Mishel were here..(their dogs).

Just then a maid came to her,''Geet baby,Some ladies came for u...sir has sent them.''

geet looked puzzled and she obediently followed her.

She went in the personal spa and saw 4 ladies were gaping at the interior of the spa.

''o my my...aren't u the cutest thing...good afternoon...We're from *#-+* mall...sir has sent us for ur new clothes and care...come here honey...sit down.''the older woman said with a smile and made her sit on the chair.

Geet looked at them with big eyes and turned to look at the funny and complex instruments they brought with them.

'sir has specially told us not to go against ur wish and comfort...so what type dresses to u like?' another lady asked pushing the large rack overloaded with dresses.

Geet looked at them being confused and then looked at her salwar suit.

''oh there's nothing wrong with it honey...but ur just a kid...u should dress up like them na?''the woman patted her hair.

''Aww...poor soul...Seems ur confused...Ok...first lets shine u up a little then we'll get u dressed ok?''saying this the 4 ladies started their jobs.

She just innocently looked at them working...they did her pedicure,manicure...and she gaped at them with great concentration...she had never been to parlor.so these things were new to her...she being a little girl enjoyed every bit of it...well who doesn't..?

They did not change anything big they just trimmed her hair in decent shape and gave her a hair oil massage washed them and gave her facial treatments...body cleanse...it just made her drowsy to hell.

Her eyes became droopy and she felt sleepy.

They too saw it that she was sleepy...so they didn't bother her for further dress selection...well, those r hers...she can wear anything.

So they bid her goodbye and said they'll come every month.

She sleepily looked at the dressed...and looked at the clock..8pm...she unknowingly picked up a night suit...changed it and decided to take a nap until dinner.

All the dresses were awfully comfortable and she became more sleepy wearing it...as soon as she touched the bed...she fell into deep slumber.

Maan came back to home with so much worry...how would she react...how would he reason his behavior...he took out the white rose with a small box from her pocket and thought it was a stupid idea.

He saw the diner was served so he went to their bedroom and halted at the doorstep.

It was a mesmerizing sight for him...Geet was sleeping on the bed wearing a white satin short night dress...her big broad collar was exposing her milky white skin and the satin cloth was expressing every single details of the curves of her body...

Her gulped down the lump in his throat looking away.but geet's beauty again pulled his gaze like a magnet...his steps unknowingly followed her sight and eyes moved down to her chest...the satin dress was perfectly complementing her curves...he can easily say she is not wearing anything underneath it...the gentle rhythm of her breath made his mouth go dry and being spell-bound he sat next to her and bent down to her lips.

He softly placed his lips on her tender sweet one and deepened gently...Geet moaned in her sleep...on his lips...feeling the prick of his rough stubble. Maan caress her soft cheek to sooth her and continued the slow kiss...it was a bliss...feeling the soft lips of her with his own...his another hand slowly held her waist and pulled her close.He softly took her upper lip and nibbled gently...and geet took a deep breath opening her mouth giving him the access...but maan didn't deepend the kiss...he moved to her smooth jaw...slowly kissing...he throat...her nape...her ears...he bent down more and was almost over her...he was balancing himself on his elbow...moaning a little,,geet encircled his neck pulling him closer...she turned to maans side still hugging him and put her head around his chest.Maan too tried his best not to wake her up and settled themselves on bed comfortably.he looked sideways at the small box on the side table and took it stretching out his hand...and opened it slowly.

he took out a beautiful diamond ring and took her hand on his...he slowly made her wear the ring and kissed it ever so softly.

maan is feeling geet too small 4 him

n thinking to give her teenage life.

geet was enjoying the spa
