I really enjoyed the first episode and I'm glad they've picked this social issue and not the one like every other drama where a woman who doesn't have sons has no value. But I definitly agree with the writer it's not something suitable for prime time. I know many 4-5 year olds who watch drama's with their parents and this seems disturbing for them especially considering the growing intellect of the younger generation.
The cast is doing a great job. Noman Ijaz, Samina Peerzada, Danish Taimoor and of-course Munawar Saeed. Special mention to the girl who plays Kulsoom. She was great in the scene where she talks to her father about getting married and how fun it'll be living in the other house.
Noman Ijaz is so creepy and disgusting at the same time. This issue is a huge bitter reality of our society. Such a grown man getting married to an 8-9 year old because he wants a child? 🤢

I thought it was his daughter too. And I think Kulsoom will have a daughter. It's disgusting if she gets pregnant at such a young age? Is she even pubertized?

Umm... I guess she would be. Otherwise how can she give birth?
Are you sure she is 8!? I think she must be 11 or 12?
