Actor AdhvikMahajan, the male lead ofGurbani, will do a HrithikRoshan in the show.
Like the Bollywood star's introductory scene in his debut flick KahoNaPyaarHai, Adhvik will also make his entry on-screen on a bike. Adhvik, a Ram GopalVarma discovery, has acted inRGV's Contract. Gurbani will mark his TV debut.
In the show, he plays Sohum, a shy boy, who is in love with Gurbani (played by Shefali Sharma). He says, "A lot of people compare me with Hrithik and it makes me a little conscious. But then, I take it positively as Hrithik is one of the best-looking men and finest actors in the industry." Shefali says, "I feel Adhvik is a lookalike of Hrithik. We call him Duggu, which is Hrithik's pet name."
Starting March 18, Gurbani airs Monday to Friday at 10.30pm on Colors.
