She dashed out of the room to find him putting coffee in a calm mannerā¦. Seeing her, he gave her a small smile and kept a cup of coffee on the table and left to get him oneā¦. Lavanya dint understand what was going onā¦ she expected him to shout at her or something but nothing happenedā¦ she sat down and took the cup still staring at himā¦

She had entered their lives being Nk's friendā¦ none of the family knew Nk being serious abt Sheetalā¦ all thought her to be just friendsā¦ Sheetal had thrown hints of being interested on Arnav but Arnav was not much into all thisā¦ Arnav had numerous girl friends but they were just like friends, he went on dates but was in his limitsā¦ but things changed one night when he had gotten drunk in a pub and the next morning he had got up with Sheetal beside himā¦ he had been shocked out of his lifeā¦ he dint know what to do.. Especially when he had come to know Nk liked Sheetal and was planning to proposeā¦ Arnav avoided Sheetal for few months and one day, she came in and told Arnav she was pregnant with his childā¦. And she forced Arnav to marry herā¦. Arnav was in a fix... he dint want to marry Sheetal cos of the childā¦ a marriage should be out of love not under compulsionā¦ and here this girl was putting him in a fixā¦ Arnav strongly denied saying he wontā¦. And left Sheetalā¦.. but after one week, Nk had barged into Arnav's class and punched his nose in front of the whole collegeā¦ it turned out that Sheetal had tried to commit suicide and was admitted in a hospitalā¦ She had disclosed all this to Nk and he had been furious with Arnavā¦. Thought he knew Arnav was not capable of doing all thisā¦ but still when a girl commits suicide stating this, who wouldn't believe especially when Arnav has an image of being a Casanovaā¦.. Hell broke lose in the house with both the brothers fighting with each otherā¦. Too many words had been thrown between each otherā¦ one hurt on losing his love and another hurt on not being trustedā¦. At last the family decided to get Sheetal and Arnav marriedā¦ just 10 days before marriage, Sheetal got a miscarriage and the blame was again put on Arnavā¦. And Arnav had enough of thisā¦ he left Delhi saying that he wouldn't marry Sheetal as the child was no more, and Nk had gotten in the cops and arrested Arnavā¦. At that time, Lavanya had come with her twin sister Riya's boyfriend Arjun who was a police officer and had gotten him outā¦.. The investigation had revealed that Sheetal was never pregnantā¦ she was a gold digger and was after the Raizada wealthā¦. Neither the baby, suicide or the miscarriage was trueā¦ she was arrested and taken outā¦. Thought she left their lives, the cracks that had occurred in their lives remainedā¦. People accused Arnav much later too as many still thought that Sheetal was innocent and Arnav and his family had used their money to get rid of herā¦. For nearly two years he bared the accusing glances of many peopleā¦. He was ashamed of something he never didā¦. And he blamed all this on Nkā¦. He also decided to prove all those people correctā¦ he made sure Sheetal's life after prison was worse than a nightmareā¦. More than that he changed a lotā¦ he hardened himself and became what people thought of him to beā¦. A play boyā¦. Nk left home and joined in some acting school and started moving with some theater troopā¦ much to the disappointment of the familyā¦. He never came home or stayed much longerā¦ he was home only for 10 days in 3 monthsā¦ everyone again blamed him saying he had sent his cousin brother off as he wanted the property to be his aloneā¦ he had triedā¦ tried a lot to not listen to all this, but he couldn'tā¦ no one was there to help himā¦he had silently cried and his sister was always there to support himā¦.. he had been thank full to her for all thisā¦..Sheetal's entry and exit had thought him a very important lesion in lifeā¦
Kushi had also entered the household through Nkā¦ and he had tried to stay away from her, but he couldn'tā¦ he was unconsciously pulled towards herā¦. He was scaredā¦. Not only towards Kushi but towards Kushal tooā¦he remembered the feeling he had got towards Kushal before Kushi's arrivalā¦.. He felt stupid when he thought of itā¦. It was like magicā¦ one time he was mad over his driverā¦.. he had kissed him and had felt like being in heavenā¦ but now it was gone..but he felt the same way with Kushi nowā¦. May be that would also goā¦. He assured himself as he went inside his roomā¦..
Anjali saw her brother think through his pastā¦ she remembered everythingā¦ those 2 years were miserableā¦. Arnav was into a messā¦. Sometimes she thought she would lose her brotherā¦. He had gone into a drinking spree and then came in drugsā¦. Anjali was shocked when she had found syringes in his drawer and had immediately contacted the family doctorā¦ the family was not supportive as it was split into 2 partsā¦ one part supporting Arnav and the other part supporting Nk bhaiā¦. But none noticed the turmoil faced by Arnavā¦ even after he was cleared, she alone saw how her brother broke down as people taunted him in temples and social gatheringsā¦ this was the sole reason he had left India and went abroad for completing his higher education.. she had let him goā¦. Trusting in him that he would leave drugs as he left India and her brother had stuck to her trust in himā¦. Arnav had returned back as a different personā¦. He had changed for everyone but not for herā¦. But still she missed her fun loving bhai a lotā¦ she missed the pranks both her bhai's would play and the whole house would laughā¦. As that day, now also she trusted her brother that he would make things between him and Kushi to normalā¦. But she prayed that it would not be too lateā¦.
