TOI:Pallavi Subhash returns to TV with Mahabharat

Siddharth Tewary's Swastik Productions launching its big ticket show Mahabharat (Star Plus) is in the news since longtime now. Big names like Sayantani Gosh, Shaheer Sheikh, Shafaq Naaz have been zeroed to play mythological characters like Satyavati, Arjun and Kunti respectively.

Now, the latest to join the star cast is dusky actress Pallavi Subhash. "Pallavi has been approached to essay the character of Amba (Eldest Daughter of King of Kashi). Amba along with her sisters Ambika and Amalika was forcefully taken by Bhishma from the middle of their swayamvar," says source.

Pallavi Subhash was last seen in Sphere Origin's Godh Bharaai on Sony TV and was also seen in Zee Marathi's Guntata Hriday Hay. Now the actress was in the news for getting married to her longterm boyfriend AniketVishwasrao.

"I haven't signed anything yet so I cant talk about it," said Pallavi.
