A very similar situation but we need to give Mayank a chance because he was manipulated by his own mom and his own chachi for a long time which made him do this. V on the other hand loved the scheming to get the sisters down. Mayank genuinely loved Gunjan while Vihaan never even cared about them. Mayank may be a bad lover ,husband, son but he is trying to be a good brother. He is the only one who ever thought how tough it might be for Rachna to face him the rest of the family does not care two hoots.
