I have only one day left with my holidays so I decided to post the update today only.

Part 4 :

One day, Khushi was going through her old childhood photos, the doorbell rang. She got up and opened the door to find him. She took him inside and bolted the door.

'why are you here, now? What if someone sees you like this here' she snapped at him. 'Kaun dekhta? I am waiting for you since morning in kaka's shop. I saw aunty going to mandir. I knew you must be alone here. So, came to meet you.' 'huh! What do you want now?' she said angrily. 'Hmm... Seems like Mr. Raizada loves you so much hun!' he said with a wicked smiled. 'Why does it matter YOU?' she didn't know why, but she didn't like whatever Karan said, about Arnav. 'Leave from here!' she said. He turned on his heels towards her and said 'I realized what you mean to me when you were not mine anymore, Khushi! I really missed you Khushi.' 'I said LEAVE!' Khushi shouted. 'I'll we waiting for you at our place at 7 pm.' 'I won't come.' ' You have to!' 'I won't!' 'I know you'll come!' said Karan and left.

The sunrays entered the room via the french doors and fell on him. He lazily spread his hands on the bed to find the other side empty. He opened his eyes wide and got half-seated. He looked at her side of bed and it was empty. He got into his sleepers and came to hall. She wasn't there too. He heard someone humming...It was a song! He moved to the source of the voice and ended up In Kitchen. There she was! Wearing a baby pink saarie and looking like a goddess and for his surprise, She was humming song "Tumse Milke Aisa Laga, Tumse Milke, Armaan Huye Pure Dil Ke" He had never seen her singing or humming. "Arey! Are you up? Go and freshen up. Parathas are ready. Let's have some." She said rolling the paratha on tava.

'Pheww! Finally old Khushi is back! Kewl!' he was thinking but little did he know, she had met Karan for 4 times in Lucknow?

That day, when Karan left from her house, Khushi sank in the sofa holding her head in hands. 'Should I go and meet him? What do he wanna say? What should I do? What if he wants to... Let it be. I won't go. I can't ditch Arnav like this.' She finally decided and went to her room.

But later, when she went at their secret place, behind the petrol pump, it was almost 8 pm. She turned her gazes to all sides to search him and there he was! She went to him.

'I knew, you'll come' and hugged her tightly. 'I missed you soo much' he said braking the hug.

'Why have you called me here?' she asked trying to sound calm. She hasn't forgot yet the way he said 'Mr. Raizada'.

'Hey, are you still mad at me? I am sorry jaan. I know, I have ditched you and left you to marry that b*****d'

'Karan! Mind your language!' the lioness roared. She tried to go but he caught her wrist.

'Sorry! But at least listen to me once.'

'split out!'

'I have started to save some money. I'm gonna buy 2 brand new volvos to start my tourist company. But you'll have to wait for atleast 2-3 months. Then you'll give divorce to him and we will start our new married life then. Okay?'

she ran away freeing her hand from his and went directly to home. She locked herself in her room. 'Why is he doing those cheap and impractical talks?'

She locked herself in the room and cried her heart out. His words echoed in her mind. 'What do he want now? Why is he doing this?' She cried hard and hard and herself didn't realize when she fell asleep.Next day, when she wake up, she was feeling so weak. She went out and bumped onto her mother. "So you are up finally? You didn't inform us where you went, when you came! Payal saw you entering your room and you locked yourself. I tried so much to wake you up but you didn't. You even didn't eat anything last night. Go and freshen up. I'll serve you the breakfast." She nodded and left for bathroom."Ye lo! Your favourite Aloo Puri'" said Garima while serving Khushi.

"Woww!!! Thank you amma!!" she said excited. She tore a piece of puri and ate it along with Aloo. "Mmm... Yummmyyy!!!!!"
"Waise, you didn't tell me, where were you yesterday?"

"Vo...amma... I was in preeto's house. She called me at noon yesterday. You were not in home so I couldn't inform you." She lied, crossing her fingers under the table. 'Maaf Karna Devi Mayya! I had to lie to amma.' She mentally asked for forgiveness to her favourite god and started eating again.*****

She was sitting in her room at noon watching the photo album of her photos. Memories are never dead! She was smiling looking at the pictures. How carefree she was! Her friends and family were everything for her. She turned one page of the Album and saw her picture with Karan. She carassed the picture with tears in her eyes. How much she had loved Karan! And that made her remind of her meeting with Karan.'What should I do? Argghhh!! Calm down Khushi! Take a deep breath. Think now. Shall I go? But how can I ditch Arnav like this? He loves me so much...'
'But why don't you listen to your heart???' her heart replied.
'Nothing can happen now Khushi! You are married to Arnav now. You can't ditch Arnav.' Her brain suggested.
'But you loved, love and always will love Karan only Khushi! Your aim of life is to get Karan! This is what you want... Karan's love. Remember how you both used to spend a lovely time with each other. Remember the romantic gifts by him. You need Karan Khushi! You can't love Arnav!' her heart was pleading her, forcing her to meet Karan.

And finally the heart won.
