It seems Sonam Kapoor's films are set to get royal treatment! Recently there was news that Sonam Kapoor's upcoming film KHOOBSURAT, which is being remade & starred Rekha in the original, were hunting for a majestic palace in Rajasthan since the original version was set in a an old bungalow.

Now Sonam Kapoor's yet another biggie RAANJHNAA is being shot in the famous Pataudi Palace.
After being featured in Hollywood's EAT, PRAY, LOVE -The Pataudi Palace, home to two generations of Bollywood will next feature in Eros International's much touted film RAANJHANAA.
The romantic-drama that marks Kolaveri Di sensation Dhanush's Bollywood debut will feature several scenes shot at the palace at Haryana.
Says director Anand L. Rai, ''I was mesmerized by the palace; it had pictures of the royalty, including one of Maharani Gayatri Devi.''
Says producer Krishika Lulla, ''We were very keen to shoot a couple of scenes at the Pataudi Palace. It has a rich history, being an imposing structure with splendid architecture, which worked well for a few particular scenes in the film.'' Adding that, ''We acquired all the requisite permissions. We share a rapport with Saif (Ali Khan) and family, so they gave it to us. They charged us a minimum amount.''
Eros International's RAANJHANAA, directed by Anand Rai starring Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor is scheduled to release this year.
