Present
Yuvi and Rey sitting in the jeep
Yuvi: Jab wo bhag k gayi thi toh halat kharab hui thi na?? Pagal kahiki!! Haan kehna hi tha toh phir bhagi kyu? Par bolna padega Rey!! Tune jake pata nahi kya keh diya usko ki wo man gayi. Jo bhi bataya acha kia bolke!!
Rey keeps staring at the road and starts recalling what had happened,
Flashback
Rey and YUvi Stare at Taani running away,
Yuvi: (tensed) Taani kaha chali gayi Rey??
Rey: muje pata hai kaha chali gayi hogi.
Yuvi: tuje pata hai?? To ye meri cycle le aur ja!! Ja ke baat kar use, wo jab upset hoti hai toh mujse kabhi share nahi karti, tujse hi karti hai,Jaldi jaa Rey!
Taani runs to her place where she always goes when shez upset. Rey knew where he would find her, after few minutes he reaches there,goes and sits next to her.
Rey: Pata tha yahi pe milegi.
Taani: Tuje sab pata hota hai na? Toh yeh bhi pata hoga ki Yuvi ne mujse kya kaha! Ab main usko kya kahu Rey? Muje kuch samaj nahi aa raha. YUvi ye sab… kabse?? TUje pata tha kya? Aur Yuvi muje pasand karta hai? Maine kabhi socha bhi nai. HUmesha toh ladta rehta hai. Aur ab.. (curiously)Tuje kuch bataya kya usne?? Mere bare mein baatein karta tha kya wo? TUje toh wo sab kuch batata hai na? mere bare mein kuch bola kya?
Rey: (thinking) kya kahu? Yuvi ne toh jyada kuch bola nhai. Lekin agar kuch nai kahunga toh shayad Taani Yuvi ko serious na le, (looks at Taani who very eagerly waiting for him to answer her question,Rey keeps staring at her, wind was blowing her hair all over her face and she was taking it off strand by strand,her eyes waiting for Rey to say something, He keeps staring at her eyes and automatically starts talking)Teri aankhon k bare mein bolta hai..inki ek apni hi basha hai..bina kuch bole in aankho se tum bohot kuch bol leti hai.(Taani stares at Rey as he speaks, looks at the water and smiles)
Rey: Teri iss smile k bare mein bolta hai, ek baar tu smile kya kare, purey Punjab k tension durr ho jati hai. (Taani smiles and looks at Rey) Teri baatein, jo tu baatein karna shuru kare, to tuje rokne ka mann nahi karta! Dil karta hai bus sunta jau!! (Taani smiles and looks down)
Rey: (lost in Taani forgets that he was talkin about Yuvi and starts speaking his heart out)aur tu jo har tym mera khayal rakhti hai, ground pe khelte time girr gaya toh medicine box leke aana, aur jab tu monitor bani toh chahe jitna shor karu, phir bhi kabhi complain na karna, humsha khayal rakhna ki main koi problem mein na fasu ye sab…
Taani: (cuts him)Tu Yuvi ki baat kar raha hai na?
Rey: (just realizes that he was speakin all what he felt for Taani, shocked and surprised, fumbles with his words) haan, ofcourse, yuvi, wo aisa kehta hai, toh jaise usne kaha waise maine tuje bol diya! YUvi aise kehta hai, Wo tera sach me bohot khayal rakega Taani.
Taani: (Looks in the water and smiles, Looks at Rey) Toh main use haan kahu??
Rey still thinking of what happened to him few mins back, Taani hold his shoulder and shakes him.
Taani: Reyy!!! Haan keh du kya?
Rey looks at her, swallows his saliva and with a faint fake smile nodes his head saying yes. Taani gets up, and starts walking away, Rey gets up and stares at her as she goes. She reaches a little further and turns and looks at him and smiles. Rey wanted to smile but he couldn't, he couldnot understand his feelings. Few mins back Taani was nothin more than a friend, but now he felt uncomfortable, Taani turns and walks away,suddenly a drop of tear fell from his eyes, Rey dint even realize that he was crying, he wipes his tears.
Rey: (to himself) Nahi Rey, Yuvi Taani ko pasand karta hai, aur Taani tuje sirf dost manti hai, Aur ab Taani aur Yuvi ek dusre k saath hai, ab Yuvi bohot khush hoga, tu unke bich me nahi ayega, kabhi nai ayega, Taani aur YUvi ko ek saath rakega, kabhi unko alag nahi hone dega. Yuvi tuje apna best friend kehta hai, toh tu unke liye khush hoga. Taani meri dost hai, toh main humesha Taani ka dost banke rahunga, YUvi ko ye kabhi nahi pata lagne dunga ki main Taani ko… no Rey!! Yuvi k liye!! Yuvi k liye humesha Taani ka best friend banke rahunga. (Sits again with his legs in the water and keeps staring at the flowing water)
Present day
Rey lost in his thought, Yuvi applies breaks, with a jerk Rey comes out of his thought.
Yuvi: Ye le pohoch gaya ghar!!
Rey gets down of his jeep, stops for a minute and turns
Rey: Yuvi, wo apne dad se baat karle, gusse mein shayad tune unse batamizi se baat ki hogi, wo dad hai tere, teri family hai, jyada der gussa mat ho!
Yuvi smiles: sochunga, ab teri baat kabhi nai mani hai kya? Agar wo thik se baat karenge toh main bhi karunga!! Chal ab tu muje papaji se baat karne ko force karne se pehle main nikalta hu, bye!! (starts his jeep and drives off)

Panchi: (annoyed)Taani tu Yuvi k date k bare mein bhul gayi?? How could you?
Taani: (feeling guilty)Ab chachaji ko khane banate banate bhul gayi, par koi nahi,(smiiles) Maine Rey se baat ki , wo sab kuch sambhal lega!
Panchi: (puts her hand on her waist)Phir se Rey!! Dekha..apki problem ka solution humesha Rey hi hota hai!! Di aap .. aap samaj nahi rahi! Jabhi koi tension hota hai tab ap rey k bare mein sochti hai, Yuvi k bare me nahi sochti. Main samaj gayi lekin aap kyu samaj nahi rahi ho??
Taani: (annoyed) Bas kar Panchi!! Tu humesha yahi prove karna chahti hai na ki main Rey ko pasand karti hu?? But main Yuvi k saath hu Panchi!! (closes her eyes and Takes a deep breath) Thik hai, main aisa kya karu ki tuje yakeen ho jaye ki Rey sirf mera best friend hi hai!! Kya karu? Tu hi bol..
Panchi: Muje prove karne k chakkar mein aaj aap Yuvi k saath lunch karne wali thi, lekin wo bhi aap bhul gayi, ab prove karne k liye reh hi kya gaya hai?? Di aap ab samaj nai rahi! Lekin jab Rey kisi aur k saath jayega na, tab shayad apko pata chalega.
Taani: (she was about to defend herself when an idea struck her brains, she smiles, and speaks in a challenging tone) Agar main khud Rey k liye ek ladki dund lu toh?? (Panchi looks at her all surprised, Taani continues) dekho, agar main khud Rey k liye ladki dundungi toh ye prove ho jayega ki main Rey ko just best friend le rahi hu. Hain na??
Panchi: (surprised) Taani di, aap sachme aise karenge? Thik hai toh fir. Ye bhi try karte hai. Aap Rey ki love story ki cupid ban jao! Apne best friend ko kisi aur ka boyfriend banao. Lekin aap Rey k liye ladki kaha se laogi??
Taani: (over confident now)wo, koi toh milegi na? kitni saari ladkiya hain. Tu bol, teri college mein se kisike saath setting karu apne Rey ki?? Rey ko koun mana kar sakta hai?? Smart hai, cute hai, intelligent bhi hai, stylish hai, dil ka acha hai, rote hue insaan ko hasa sakta hai, understanding hai, compromising hai, ek perfect, matlab perfect boyfriend hai!!! Aur toh wo..(stops seeing Panchi staring at her, quickly changes the topic) Haan toh, bol, koi ladki hai kya tere detective dimaag mein??
Panchi: (thinks for few minutes, remembers some1 and smiles) wo, Kiya!!! Haan, Kiya yaad hai?? Rey k saath selelct hui hai. Wo perfect rahegi Rey k liye, dono dance bhi karte hai, Rey stylish aur kiya bhi stylish!! Perfect!!
Taani not so happy hearing all this
Taani: No!! wo Kiya nahi!! Koi aur suggest karo!
Panchi: kyu? Kiya mein kya problem hai?(Taani doesn't respond) Dekha, muje pata tha, tum ye sab nahi karogi, buss natanki tumhare ye sab. Rey k love story ki cupid!! Wo bhi tum!! Kabhi ho hi nahi sakta!!
Tani: (irritated) Ok fine!! Done!! Kiya toh kiya hi sahi!! Kal se mission Rey aur Kiya start.
Precap:
Kiya: Hey hiee!! Your… (tries to recall her name,but fails) Rey k saath thi na tum us din?? Yea.. ur Rey's friend.
Taani: (gives her a smile,although within her head she shot kiya everytime she called Rey as Rey)Yea.. m Taani!! Rey ki best friend.
