It's basically about this girl named Zoya who comes from New York to search for her father whom she never met but knows is alive. She has encounters with Asad Ahmed Khan who has very rigid and restricted thinking about religion and how women should be... Zoya and him don't get along because he judges her based on her clothes and the fact that she wears jeans. Anywayz, Zoya ends up staying at Asad's house because her brother-in-law is a far relative of Asad's mother, Dilshaad ...Asad lives with his mother Dilshaad and his sister Najma... He loves them dearly.. He doesn't believe in love but he doesn't mind getting married to a girl who is religious and fit for his family..not a girl like Zoya who wears jeans.. Asad and Zoya continue to banter and Asad is really judgmental towards Zoya, but slowly he is continuously proven wrong by her and he started to develop feelings for her. On the other hand, Asad hates his dad, Rashid Ahmed Khan, who left his mom 17 years ago because Razia and Mamu jaan blackmailed him to burn the Gudiya(doll) factory where Razia killed a women and out the blame on Rashid. this is why Rashid married Shireen and has three other children. Although the families are distant from each other, Ayaan(Asads half brother) has a very loving and brotherly bond with Asad.. They meet secretly since their families don't approve. Meanwhile, Asad finds out that the 17 year old Gudiya Factory ka raaz is related to Rashid with the help of Zoya.By the way, everyone in this serial is somehow related to the Factory secret which is fully yet to be revealed. So, asad thinks Rashid is a murderer and he is the one who tried to kill his mother. Therefore, he makes a case on Rashid and everyone, including his mother, is against him. On the other hand, their is a doll that everyone is looking for because it has a clue that can prove Rashid innocent. Zoya is falling in love with Asad and Asad is trying to push her away. Razia is on a mission to find the doll for which she send Billo Rani into the house. The audience don't know who Billo Rani actually is.it can be Asads long lost friend Tanveer or the new maid.
