Heart beating fast, words not coming out and honestly I won't be able to do justice to the episode especially like some others have done. Like this is unreal to have so much chemistry when the two haven't even faced each other. It's all about the tease and tension. Where do I begin? From Saras catching on to what makes Kumud tick i.e. her ego. How do you get to her? Challenge her. She might not even listen to her Bapu but she will never let down a challenge. So Saras has definitely learnt the trick.
The kite practicing to which my Dad goes 'Aavi ritte koi na baap ni ghare na sikhvanu' (this is not how you learn to fly a kite) but we all knew that this isn't about kite flying. There was blatant flirting going on especially by our Sundari. The slaps on the hand, the smirks, the puppy face of Saras, the body movements by Kumud to avoid Saras...it was all just chemistry.
The prayer scene, Saras is lured by Kumud's voice but it's not limited to her singing voice. He's very much mesmerised by every little thing about her. Her attitude, her ego, the way she taunts and yes he is a MAN so her sultry figure attracts him too. I won't call it sexual tension, I'd rather call it sensual tension because there is something so pure but extremely charged about them. And the way she looked at him praying <3 Even that was chemistry.
There was this one moment which sealed the deal for me. I can't explain why...! Maybe it was just the way it was shot with the way Kumud was walking so gracefully and Saras not being able to help himself.
Just the effect they're having on each other and us is quite spellbinding.
