It was either them or no one! Atleast this way someone would be saved and I think the others will be saved

what i think is ....gauri is strong like that>>>and can't let anything happen to shiv, therefore she hit the guy on the head. i think that even though shiv didn't tell her in words what the gunda's had said(agar kal tak gundas ki mange puri nahi hui to woh shiv ko marenge next

their running away will probably help the police to know where the hostages are at and hopefully they'll all be saved.

i think if the whole group were united to hit the goons... they may succeed in defeating all goons 😉😆..

The main reason Gauri took such a drastic step was that the goons targeted Shiv especially and threatened to kill him by tomorrow...she's thinking of her husband...I doubt she would have hit the goon if it was just her...I do feel bad for the rest, but I'm sure they'll try their best to help the others when they escape, hopefully it won't be too late...
