Riya walks to the bed side and sits with her cheek turned to him…..He curses her and also his own ill fate and the moment he decided to come there under his breath as he starts applying the ice on her cheeks…
"Besharmi ki bhi haddh hothiye Riya…itna kaise ghirr sakthi ho tum?" he voices out without being able to control his anger….
She laughs and replies "zyaadha dialog matth boliye….bas apna kaam kijiye warna main aur bhi kuch kar sakthi hoom….."
Arjun fumed "haan of course…..woh toh dikh raha hai!"
Riya: Great! Accha hua aap ko dikh gaya….[when he glared at her, she voices out] Aurat ke khabiliyat pe kabhi shaq nahi karna chahiye……

Arjun glared at her as he kept the ice pack on her swollen cheeks but his attitude wasn't any less…he sneered back sarcastically….."Aurat??? kis aurat ke khabiliyat pe shaq kiya maine? Yahaan toh mujhe koyi nahi dikhi…."
Riya rolled her eyes and looked at him when he continued "ohh tum?? Tum aurat ho?? Ek aurat hokhe aise…"
Riya kept her fingers on her lips and gestures "shhh….ab yeh aurat ke sanskraar aur paraaya mard waali bhaashan shuru matth karna…."
Arjun wasn't letting go so easily "sanskar honge tab samajh aayega na? yahaan toh.."
Riya: [snapped him by placing her fingers on his lips to shut him up]chup…..bilkul chup ACP…..aur ek shabd nikhli toh you know what I can do…..
That was the limit of what he could tolerate too….He never liked it when he was controlled….He was boiling in anger…..
He started placing the pack harshly as if to hurt her more so that she would get fed up and ask him to leave!
But Riya was smarter "aise nahi….aaraam se softly….delicately jaise aap apne girlfriend ko touch karthe ho na? teek waise pyar se kijiye na!"
She grabbed his hand and made him do it slowly….She didn't have the slightest hint of what she was driving him to…..and the effect of all this on him!
His fuse blew up out of repair and he threw away the ice pack…..He pushed her and pinned her down on the bed and glared at her….."bohat shauq hai na meri GF banne ki…..dikhaa dhoom ACP Arjun Rawte ki GF banne ka matlab kya hai!"
If his eyes had the power to burn someone down, then she would have been a handful of ash by now….

His rough closeness wasn't any less than a passionate one….Riya was burning under his hold….His glaring eyes were igniting her…….She had already started falling for him from the very first encounter….but yes, it was oblivious to her….now when he did this sudden violent yet romantic gesture, she couldn't help falling more deep! She couldn't help ignore his anger and take in only the closeness he shared with her now at this moment!
She always fantasized such rough and tough men though she hadn't met many in her lifetime so far…Arrogant, stubborn and egoistic heroes of the M&B stories always enchanted her……and this guy was far above all of them….He was making her fall deep into the pit, that too so effortlessly….He didn't do anything in particular, but she seemed to be slipping towards him dangerously!
She didn't protest once…..but just silently looked into his intense deep eyes which were fuming back at her…but she was calm…her eyes were cool….And that irked him…."Why the hell wasn't she scared of this? Why wasn't she stopping him or yelling at him?" he thought to himself…
He had done it to give her a taste of her own medicine……to warn her against her playing the fool with him!…..He pinned her further strongly as if to hurt her…..
Her cool attitude wasn't going down well with him…..But something else caught his eyes which totally changed his attitude
The water droplets on her face baffled him a bit…..it seemed to have a weird crazy effect on him….in fact they were distracting him or rather attracting him to it….
Unaware of himself, one of his hands left her pinned down hand and moved to her face…his fingers lightly rubbing off the water droplets off her cheeks…..
She was a bit surprised by his gesture…..she lowered her eyes and looked at his fingers that seemed to be caressing her face…..It looked as if his glares were replaced with a desire and his anger by attraction….
But the moment she broke the eye lock, he snapped out….He took off his hands off her with a jerk as if he had touched a live wire….
He stood up quickly and stepped back away from her…..He turned away and stood there silent for a few seconds……He spoke up in a much mellowed down tone which stunned both of them equally...
"Life koyi khel nahi hai Riya…..harr waqt masti aur mazaag mein lagi rahogi toh zindagi bhi ek mazaag bannke reh jaayegi…..Anjaane mein ek galthi aur lifelong patchtovogi…..[pausing a bit sensing her getting up from the bed]
He turns back and adds "tum ek responsible ETF officer ho….usse bhoolne ki bhool kabhi matth karna…."
She was too nave to understand the hidden meanings of his warning or rather a stern advice……She stood puzzled as he walked out of her room…..
Though he had advised her, he was left confused as well…his sudden change in attitude to her puzzled him…he mentally smacked himself…..But for Roshni, he had never got so close to any other girl nor did he ever have an idea to move on…..but how the hell did he get lose his control in those briefest of moments?? Why did he even give in to her demands?? How could he lose his self enforced controls over his desires and get attracted to a girl whom he had met just that morning??From the moment she had walked in before his eyes, she was literally causing havoc in him….and he was yet to find the reason for that!
His conflicting thoughts led him straight to the nearby beach….he lay there on the cold sand staring at the sky and his eyes were searching for his Roshni…..
The brightest star, his Roshni was missing today……where was she?? Every night, she came to him and spoke to him, comforted him, caressed him, kissed him lovingly with the warmth she showered from there…..
Nights were the best time of his day because it was his private time with Roshni!
Today he needed her badly…..he had a lot to share with her….he wanted to pour his conflicts, his confusions….except for her, he had none to share it with……..but where was she???
Then another thought crossed his mind, "Was she angry because he had slipped a bit?"
He smiled faintly as he spoke up "ghussa ho?? Aakhar mujhe dhaanto na? mujhse jagda karo….chaahe ek dho taphad bhi maarlena….lekin mujhse aise mooh matth modhna….plz Roshni, I cant live without you…..pls baahar aajaao….I love you! I need you Roshni….I need you"
His emotions welled up as tears and rolled down….
