TV actor Jayneeraj Raj Purohit, who is currently seen in Colors Balika Vadhu as Shiv's (Siddharth Shukla) father has bagged another important role in Optimystix Production's Chan Chan which was earlier tentatively titled as Modern Bahoo.
Sources inform that Jayneeraj who also did a small role in Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal's Bollywood film Oh My God will play the role ofSanaya Irani aka Chanchan's father in the upcoming show. He will belong to an upper middle class family, a very supportive and positive person in nature. He is really proud of his daughters and painting is his hobby.
When contacted, Jayneeraj said, "Yes, I am doing the show and it's a very interesting character. I have already started shooting and I am really looking forward to the show."
The show will go on-air from 25 March 2013 on Sony Entertainment Television.
