**PART 20**

just then they heard a car horn and came back to senses...
maan released her leg but didnt let her go suddenly as he knew she
not in her senses...
as he felt her getting normal he left her and went towards his seat...
he waited for her to settle down and drove the car...

WHOLE DRIVE WAS SILENT...
EXCEPT THE SOUND OF THEIR THUDDING HEART...
both kept stealing glances at each other...
geet was too nervous too look at him...
while maan was scared of her reaction...
as her home came the car came to halt...
she without looking at him got down from the car and
ran to her hotel...
he came out from the car and kept looking at her retreating
figure till she completely vanished...
he kept looking at her longingly...
waiting for her to turn just once...just once...
but alas she didn't...
but he didn't loose hope...

here as she rushed to her room...she quickly closed the room...
she didn't know what she was feeling...
but it was different...
as she got down from car she wanted to turn around and just once
wanted to look at him...
but her devil brain didn't let her...she didn't want to show
him her vulnerable side...
she rushed to her room...
her steps moved to the window besides her bed...
but then stopped and rushed to washroom for a shower...

she took pretty good time under shower...
to calm down her beats as she remembered the moment shared by them...
the thought was enough to give her goosebumps...
his touch...his warmth...his breathe...she closed her eyes tightly
inorder to control her thoughts...
she wiped herself and came out changing into her night dress...
she was patting her hair dry when she remembered of maan...
she suddenly felt restless and had a sudden urge to look out for him...
she chided herself coz he would have left by now...
its almost 30minutes he had dropped her...

but listening to her heart she went towards her window...
removed the curtains...the sight that welcomed her shocked her
out of her wits...
maan was lying on the bonnet with his one arm under his head and looking in her direction...
it was raining heavily and he was lying there...
was he waiting for her...hell no.....she thought...
just then his eyes came in contact with her a smile came on his lips...
he quickly got down and stood before...
he like a teenager blushed and rubbed back of his head...
he knew his mishty...he can never be wrong...
he smiled like never before as if he got whatever he wanted...
he waved her and finally sat inside his car and drove back...

here a tear dropped from the corner of her eye...
looking at him like this but he couldn't look at it as she was on 13th floor while he on the ground floor...
as his car vanished she kept a hand on her mouth to muffle her cries...
she quickly turned around and put the curtains back...
how can someone love her so much???? she thought...
to such an extent...
he could go to any extent to have whatever he wanted.....she wondered...
earlier she took it lightly not taking it seriously...
but after today she realized the depth of his FEELINGS...
another tear dropped from her eye...
all this made her feel more guilty...

making her feel whatever she did thinking it as good for him...
was all wrong...
it didn't stop him from loving her...he couldn't hate her...
she thought may be this distance could make him forget her as his mere crush...
but no he was hell serious...
oh god...what did i do to him????? i changed him completely...
he can go to any limit for me...
is this right??? she thought...
would she be able to reciprocate his feelings????
not knowing that she had already started accepting him within...

as she entered the office clad in her red churidar...
she looked pretty as always but it felt not like yesterday...
she went to her cabin glancing at his cabin but it was vacant...
a strange restlessness filled her...
he was never this late??
why didn't he reach office yet???
was he not well??
oh god did he reach home safe yesterday...
babajee unki raksha karna...

she thought she might be thinking a lot he might be busy with some site visit...
she started her work...
she looked at time it was 2:00...but still he was not there...
she again got engrossed and now it was 5:00...
still no sign of him...
she couldn't take it anymore...
she rushed out and saw adi there...
she approached him ask about maan...
and then she got to know he was running high fever...
she nodded and went to her room cribbing...
dekha babajee he never takes care of him...

kya zarurat thi kl baarish me bhigne gi...
its all my fault...
ab mai kya karu...i know him he wouldn't have taken medicines also!!!!
mai mil ati hun...
han this would be correct...once i see him myself...
i will give him medicines also...haina babajee...
she smiled and went to adi...
she told him she needed maan's sign in a file...
so she needed his address...

adi tried telling her that her going wasn't required...
he would send some other person...
but geet was adamant...
hence he gave her address and she left...

as she entered the khuraana mansion...
she was spellbound with the grandeur...
it was so huge...like house of her dreams...
as she entered the hall she was greeted by the servants...
who asked her to wait...
as she settled down she got busy exploring the entire house with her eyes...
as her eyes moved to the staircase she saw two women clad in sarees
descending very gracefully...
one in off white...she quickly recognized as dadi...
as described by maan...

daadima...namaste ...she greeted her...
you look as pretty as ever....daadima smile...
ap bhi geet bete...daadima commented...
ap mujhe janti hai...geet asked getting amazed...
ji han...jaise ap hme janti hai...she smiled...
oh...then it strikes geet that maan only told her...

ap hai hmari geet...pammi smiled ...
ji...pr ap...
mai pammi...maan ki mother.....she smiled sadly...
wo am sorry...mai hi idiot hun...i would have forgotten...
maan did tell me about you....geet spoke
koi bat nai beta...pammi smiled seeing her covering up for maan...
acha bete ap yahan kaise....daadima asked changing the topic...
wo i needed some sign on these paper...can i go and meet him...she asked feeling shy all of sudden...
daadima and pammi smiled looking at each other...
dadima nodded and told the servant to take her to the outhouse...

outhouse?? geet felt weird...han wo maan stays in outhouse away from everyone
ever since his....but geet didn't let her complete...
am sorry dadima....she spoke...
koi bat nai beta...nakul take her to maan....she winked at pammi...
as geet left in a hurry she collided with a hard frame...
as she was about to fall...he held her...
madhubala...ahan...she heard him saying...
rk??? she opened her eyes shocked...
tum yahan????
