(Clarification-Writer's perspective)
All of you are justified in your own ways coz this is a game called life that we all play!
Lakshmi you said what all of us feel ideal! But the reality is different! We do get shouted at and pushed around sometimes by people sometimes by situation!
Dishu Arnav IS going over board dear!!! Coz Khushi he realised will even defy him if it comes to his and his family's safety! She proved it by..defying his word so he is now worried and first want to tie her down...
His behaviour is typical to his persona and most males who have power otherwise,,,
Ranbir( Mani) Thou are right pal... Arnav is being inopurtune but with due respect to men, they do what they deem fit when it comes to their ego and most importantly the security of their loved ones and they muster the necessary courage and also unreasonable attitude to fend off arguments as I noticed usually men loath arguments... they confront and finish either by overpowering or acceptance( Yes there are ... who accept too unlike Arnav) or they Avoid for ever!!
Sam, sometimes life is full of situations you dunno why you are sucked into... its not in your character but you would act so... Khushi faced humiliation which she would have never... if not for Arnav and that too when he married by force... but the bonding over difficulties had made all the difference to their personalities... Arnav wants to ascertain and include her even by force if need be and she wants to abstain and exclude even by separation.
Thanmay You are bang on! We are what we are partly coz of what life teaches us and partly coz of how we evolve through personal experience...
MALATHI JIJI: Dynamix215, Leena and others Malathi Jiji has been discussed in the plot as teh village welfare worker many times who inspired Khushi to take up the cause of the people of THE PANCH!!! Pls... revisit climax scenes of MIRAGE Season-1...
NOTE FROM ME
First, let me thank you all for your participation! I always felt its not the number of people who read my stuff but its the quality that counts...And you guys have truly proved yourselves to be golden readers by expressing your thoughts...
Thats why its my duty to issue this note...
Khushi and Arnav are two different people with different backgrounds and characters etc! Mostly we assess a situation based on back drop and the scenario plus individual personality... Lets do that!
Khushi:Regal backdrop... she is a princess! And was raised with ideals... thinks she is responsible for others!!! Scenario... she is a professional designer but has already compromised on the traditional set up that her home and land require so balanced in nature willing to adjust...
Individual personality... here, she lost every one... feels insecure from inside although brave by genes! She is by nature giving and can forgo anything willingly for others who she cares for! An extention of her royal self even in personal life...
She took it upon her that Arnav's safety is her responsibility although he married her by force! And she already accepted him as husband but her expression of acceptance is utmost importance to him and his family... here- safety and well being more than living together!
Arnav: He is a power house and self made man! He has principles but he defines the boundaries and he had always been the decision maker and leads from front!
Scenario: he never works undercover but did marry Khushi on the sly because of the situation and since cannot reverse it progresses naturally to the next phase of his plan to accommodate her in his life and correct himself and redeem his actions!
Individual personality... he is lost his parents due to the misconception of various emotions hence avoids emotional attachment like plague and tries to put everything in a compartment!He believes in integrity and would do anything to uphold it and does not mind getting his job done any which way as long as the result is valid!
He feels for Khushi but does not know he loves her! Actually read it as does not want to accept coz love brought peril according to him so he tries giving it a name of responsibility etc!!!
For him acceptance is total surrender... of body and soul and he does not mind anything else... Inclusion into his world is what he feels is redemption and he knows what he is doing!( YES DUDLEY AND PARAM!!!you guys are right) He is not bothered about means as he is confident of convincing others by showing the result there off!!!
The Pursuit is about the pursuit of self... Its rather a quest for self rather than the partner! Of discovery... of true feelings and their depth and impact on life!!! They are flawed individuals accomplished in their own ways, have different perspectives about everything... moving towards each other mentally and emotionally, yet pulling themselves away physically...
Guys I am happy you are expressing ... the above clarification is just to throw light on my perspective... You are welcome to your views as its your idea about life and equally justified...
