Episode 17B: Rock me baby...

Mom: Riya…tum samajh nahi rahi ho….shaadi ke baadh aise yun hi bina wajeh nahi chale aathe….yeh pati ke saat rehne ka unne samajhne ka waqt hai….tab hi toh tum dono ka rishta aur masbooth hoga….tum mere kehna ka matlab samajh rahi ho na?

"haan maa….woh sab samajh rahi hai…isiliye yahaan aayi hai.."

Arjun's loud reply to her mother startled Riya and she threw the book aside and jumped up from the sofa and turned to face him…..He stood casually at the entrance of her room smiling at her and her mom…..

Riya turned to him and she was shocked to the core seeing him there….She never thought he would come after her especially after she had left his house without even informing him……she knew how egoistic and stubborn he was..so it was quite unexpected…..

She just stood staring at him…..while her mom was shocked too…but pleasantly surprised would be a better term…

She rushed to Arjun's side "Arjun….aap yahaan? [turning to Riya] Riya, tumne bathaaya nahi ke yeh aane waale hai?? tum itne irresponsible kaise ho sakthi ho??"

Arjun snapped her short "maa…Riya ko matth dhaantiye…..maine hi usse manaa kiya tha! Hai na darling?"

Before even Riya could realize what was happening, she found herself close to Arjun…yes he had walked past quickly and put his arm around her shoulders and pulled her closer..

Riya's mom shyly looked away at the PDA…..She just shot a stare of false anger at Riya for not informing about his arrival to the family….

Arjun continued "woh kya hai na? hum apne honeymoon plan kar rahe teh…..Goa, Shimla aur Darjeeling ke beech mein tie hogaya tha…..Riya aap logon ko bohat miss kar rahi thi….isiliye maine Darjeeling decide kar li…hum dono saat hi aane waale teh par mujhe ek urgent kaam aagaya……Isilye Riya ko pehle bhej diya…."

Arjun finished his quota of lies and he spoke it so convincingly that there was no scope for any doubt…..Even Riya looked at him surprised at how cool he was while telling it out……

She told to herself "aur kya expect kar sakthe hai? jhoot ka ghataara hai mera pati dev!"

Riya's mom nodded and quickly walked away smiling leaving the couple to themselves….She was relieved to see her daughter and son-in-law happy together….She closed the door as she left to give them the much needed privacy!

Once she left, Arjun made Riya face him still enclosing her within his hold only that his hands now moved around her waist…..He gripped and squeezed her lightly

Before she could snap out from the shock and react to his closeness, he pecked her forehead and smiled at her….."I missed you sweetheart!"

Riya struggled to free from him "yeh kya naya drama hai Arjun? Humne decide kiya tha na humaare families ko humaare problems mein shaamil nahi karenge?? Then why are you here?"

Arjun grinned "hum nahi sweetheart….tum…sirf tumne decide kiya tha….tumne ek letter likh ke mere ghar se, mere life se jaane ka decision liya tha…..You never discussed your decision with me honey!"

Riya stared at him and threatened to burn him down while he added "ouch now stop burning me with that look, will you? Anyways, main yahaan tumaare families ko kuch bathaane nahi aaya hoom"

Riya was confused at what his real intention was…..he replied to her unvoiced question "maine maa se kaha na? Main yahaan unnke beti, I mean mere wife ke saat honeymoon manaane aaya hoom…."

Riya raised her eyebrows at that and replied instantly in a warning tone "in your dreams Arjun….only in your dreams!"

Arjun replied sarcastically leaning towards her lips "What if I say that I know how to make my dream come true!...[after a romantic smile, he adds] darling, main wahi sapne dekhtha hoom jinne sacha banaane ki umeedh rakhtha hoom darling!"

Riya bends backwards trying her best to avoid his lips from claiming hers…she knew that if she allowed that then his dreams would come true that very instant…..He had that magnetic effect on her….A passionate touch or kiss was all that was required from his side to make her lose her self enforced control and slip away into him…..She hated to admit that but he truly was irresistible!

She was deeply in love with him and also crazily physically attracted to him…..it was just a small binding that kept her back….and if he kept continuously trying to come close to her in this manner, it wouldn't be so difficult to break her ties…..She knew he was capable of that….

When he saw her avoiding his kiss, he grinned and left her abruptly and she almost lost her balance but he steadied her and made her stand on firm grounds……

Taking off her hands from her he spoke "ohhh like that…..lets see how long you continue to catch hold of that weak determination of yours……You aren't so difficult for me Riya and you know that too! Kab tak bacch paavogi?"

Riya smirked and looked away trying her best to avoid his gaze from his naughty eyes….

Their clash of words ended when someone knocked at the door…."Riya….dinner ready hai….Arjun ko lekhe aa jaao…"

It was mom's call for dinner….She looked at the clock…it was dinner time already…..an hour had passed by and she didn't even know…In his presence, time did fly…..

Arjun walked to the restroom to get freshened up…….

She let a deep sigh and walked to the door….She didn't bother to call him or inform him…..

She went down to the dining area…..Her mom was annoyed seeing her come down alone…..they had to come together…..she had to bring him down…when will her immature daughter grow up? Riya's mom rolled her eyes when Riya chose to ignore her completely!

Her mom wasn't leaving her like that…she chided Riya "tumne Arjun ko nahi bulaaya…woh kahaan hai?"

Riya: maa….he is not a kid…unne pathaa hai…aa jaayenge!

Mom: [sternly] RIYAA….bachpana chodo….jaao bulaakhe le aavo…

As Riya rolled her eyes at her mom and unwillingly rose from the chair, Arjun voiced out from the stairs "maa…mera hi ghar hai….khaane keliye invite ki kya zaroorat??"

By then, Riya's dad, her nana and nani were all there around the dining table and all are pleased to see their dhaamaad amidst them….They turn back and smile at him…..Riya's dad gets up and walks to him…..He brings him to the table and her mom makes him sit next to Riya…..

Food is served…..Riya's mom had managed to make it special in the best possible way….All start to eat and they notice that Arjun is struggling to eat…….there is a bandage on his fingers of his right hand…..

Mom: [rushing to his side] yeh kya hua beta??

Riya was concerned too…she turns to hear their conversation to understand what was wrong….

Arjun: kuch khaas nahi maa….kal ek case ke waqt ungiliyon mein ek cut hogaya…..bas isiliye….its not big….aap chintha matth kariye..

Mom: [turning to Riya] Riya, Arjun ko khaana khilaavo…..phir tum khaalena…..

Arjun: [smiling] nahi nahi…hum dono saat khaalenge….[he turns sideways to face Riya so that she can feed him easily]

Riya is left with no choice but do what her mom instructed…she couldn't tell that she wont do it…As she takes a spoonful of the rice, he speaks out "nahi spoon se nahi Riya….apne haathon se khilaavo na? woh kya hai na….mujhe spoon se khaana accha nahi lagtha….khaane ka swaad hi nahi miltha….it doesn't reach, you know? So pls…spoon nahi….warna main khud hi khaalunga…"

Riya's nani and mom gestures her to do as per his wish…..

Riya, unwillingly feeds him with her hands…..He playfully winks at her meaning that his game is on…..She is irritated to the core and almost forcefully dumps the food into his mouth…..

As they continue, he also makes her eat a mouthful in between and then make her feed him……In the slightest of moments, he closes his mouth suddenly holding her fingers between his lips, thereby sending a shiver into her……She quickly withdraws her hand and looks away! Arjun grins at that and tugs her to feed him more…..

They finish the dinner…..Riya goes to the room soon…Meanwhile, Arjun does a little bit of catching up and conversing with Riya's dad before retiring to his room…..

He bolts the door and then looks around….Riya just steps out of the restroom, her fragrance filling the air and hitting his senses hard..….He looks at her head to toe and sighs…..but he doesn't voice anything….

Instead he speaks up something else as he lay back on the bed….."tumaare room mein sabse accha mujhe yeh bed laga…..I like it….compact and perfect…..perfect for a newly wed couple like us, hai na Riya??"

It was a normal double bed with just enough space for two and it would be difficult to sleep without touching or bumping into each other…..Arjun was trying his best to tease Riya….He winked mischievously at her and she wasn't nave not to catch his point!

Riya smirks knowing what he intended by that while he continues "humaare ghar ke bed ki tarah king sized, ek football ground ki tarah nahi hai…!….soch raha hoom aise hi ek bed humaare liye bhi khareed loom….tumaara kya khayaal hai sweetheart?"

Riya sarcastically responds "aapko aisa kyun lagtha hai ke main aapke saath uss bed pe sone waali hoom, haan??"

Arjun grins and replies "main aisa bilkul nahi sochtha….in fact mujhe 100 percent patha hai ke tum yahaan mere saat nahi sone waali ho….[rises up and looks around] lemme guess…..tum wahaan uss sofa par ya phir uss carpet pe sone waali ho, right? [Grins cheekily at her leaving her with questions]

Arjun understands and answers her unasked questions "woh kya hai na?? mujhe patha hai ke tum bohat weak minded ho….agar mere saat yahaan chipak ke leitogi toh pukka fisal jaavoge….I know that…isiliye tum darr ke maare, wahaan sone waali ho….[pausing with a smile plastered on his lips]…..does that answer your questions my dear wifey?"

Riya's fuse was blown out now…she blows her hair up in anger and voices in an irritated voice

"ji nahi…mujhe koyi darr nahi hai…..waise bhi yeh room meri hai….bed bhi meri hi hai….aapko problem hai toh aap jaakhar sofa ya carpet parr sohiye…"

Saying that, she quickly came to the bed….Turning to the opposite direction, she pulled up the blanket covering till her head….

Meanwhile, Arjun shook his head thinking that she had fallen so easily for his naughty prank and smiled at her back…..He switched off the lights and lay to his side of the bed, slowly entering into the blanket….
