this serial is based on silsila, and shiv is to have an extra marital affair, so if he is to have an extra-marital affair with ipshitha, then gauri shud still be in his house, so i guess their marriage won't break so easily or soon, and i don't think shiv will realise he is in love with gauri also very soon.
wht i think might happen is

shiv will act as if he is havin an affair with ipshitha, so gauri will leave the house.

or

he is already havin an affair with ipshitha, and ipshitha is only actin good and friendly with gauri 'coz she knows tht shiv will somehow break off their marriage(and shiv might have asked her to act like tht gauri, 'coz he might really care for gauri) and maybe they were already goin out be4 he got married, and the reason he never told any1 was 'coz he knows how much anupam loves ipshitha and he didn't want to hurt anupam, thts y they keeps sayin all the girls loves shiv but no1 knows who shiv loves.

i think they fell in love b4 s-g marriage.

so they both pretending as if they are friends but they are not.

remember when gauri danced with him, at the end she told it was ipshitaa who taught her to dance, shiv was really happy. we can see love when he mentioned she is good in it.

read shiv line n expression when he saw ippy.. we know there is something there.
