Look whose back( MEEE 😊)!!! Seriously I can't believe I'm doing this, but I am so you guys better be happy now and stop making me feel bad 😭 Okay this I need to dedicate to a few people who have been extra kind to me. a week later
Viren and Jeevika went inside Zaaine's room to wake him up. They just stood near the door adoring how incredibly cute he was looking.
v - "Look at the little monkey all warm in his bed"
j - "Seriously, he's so cute. I don't feel like waking him up. And his medicines make him so drowsy Viren"
v - "I know, but if you don't we'll be late for his appointment"
j - "Maybe I'll take him later, why don't you go if you have to then"
v - "But Jeevs what if you won't be able to handle him. I mean he's going to be in a lot of pain when they remove the stitches"
j - "I know, but if we wake him he's going to be cranky"
v - "Let's just try waking him up, if he gets up fine if not you can take him later"
j - "Okay"
The both of them walked to his bed. Viren kneeled down on the ground while Jeecika sat on the bed. Viren softly placed his hand through his hair and pecked in a little kiss which got Zaaine to move in his sleep. He just turned around the other way and held onto the blanket even tighter than before. He was too much into deep sleep, not wanting to wake up.
v - "Zaaine, come on its time to get up"
Zaaine just moved slightly picking his head up and slowly opening his eyes. Viren got up from the ground and picked him up making him sit. The three of them sat on the bed with Zaaine in the middle. Zaaine was having a hard time opening his eyes, so he just leaned on Viren's arm and wrapped his tiny arms around his.
v - "Jeevika, I was thinking we need to still buy a spiderman backpack" he said in the hopes of getting Zaaine up
j - "Ohh yeah Viren, I remember because you really wanted that right?"
Zaaine cutely rubbed his eyes and looked at jeevika
z - "No, no for daa. Backpack for Zaaine"
j - "For Zaaine?"
v - "Okay we'll get for Zaaine, but Zaaine needs to get up and get ready first"
z - "Why daa?"
v - "Because remember we have to go to the doctors"
z - "For my boo-boo?" he said getting a little sad and touching his head
v - "Yeah, we need to get Zaaine's stitches removed so he doesn't have to wear this bandage anymore"
z - "No daa plz. Me no go"
v - "Why, isn't Zaaine strong?"
Zaaine just held Viren's arm tighter showing him and Jeevika how scared he was. He was now officially scared of hospitals ever since his incident. It just reminded him of all the pain he had gone through a few days ago.
j - "Come on, the quicker we get Zaaine's boo-boo fixed the quicker we can go buy the spiderman backpack" she said standing and picking him up.
Jeevika took him inside his bathroom and helped him get ready. They came out after half an hour and saw Viren waiting for them downstairs. He was getting all his files ready and put away everything in his car. Zaaine walked to Viren and held his leg begging him to pick him up which Viren did. He just hugged his dad scared of what was going to happen in the next hour. Viren put him inside Jeevika's car and have him his bottle. Both of them were going in separate cars as Viren had to go to work right after. They both drove to the hospital quickly. Viren and Jeevika had parked their cars right next to each other. Viren got Zaaine out of his car seat and carried him inside. They both could sense his fear and saw him tearing up a little. Zaaine just clung onto Viren the whole time while Jeevika talked to the nurse.
v - "Zaaine don't worry it will be finished really soon, I promise"
Zaaine just put his head on Viren's shoulder not able to see hiim. He squeezed his shirt and Viren could feel his hear beat pulsing faster and faster.
j - "Okay let's go inside"
The three of them walked to the hospital clinic and Viren put Zaaine down on the bed. They waited for a doctor to come to so they could get out of here. Viren's phone started ringing, and it was from work. He went outside to pick it up.
z - "Mommy we leave please"
j - "We'll go as soon as we remove your stitches Zaaine. Then we'll go get all your stuff, okay?"
z - "No we leave now, please mommy" he said starting to cry
j - "Why are you crying Zaaine? No more crying, Zaaine is so strong right"
z - "Noo" he hid his face on Jeevika's stomach who was standing.
v - "What's wrong?"
Jeevika just gave Viren the look and he understood. The doctor came then and saw Zaaine a little freaked out.
j - "Sorry, he's just a little scared"
dr. - "That's okay. We're going to finish this quickly so then Zaaine can leave, sounds good?"
Zaaine refused to move his head away from Jeevika so Viren picked him up and sat on the bed with Zaaine in his lap. The doctor started removing the bandage and then cleaned the wound which made Zaaine cry as it started stinging. The doctor then carefully liften the sutures trying to make is as less painful as possible for Zaaine. Zaaine couldn't help but cry as the doctor removed each suture. Viren just held onto him tighter as Jeevika wiped away his tears. The doctor was done in another 10 minutes and finished wrapping his head with a bandage again to let the cut heal. Zaaine stopped crying now as Jeevika signed off his papers. They were done and ready to leave.
v - "Are you going to go home now Jeevs?"
j - "No, I'll take him out somewhere. You leave now before you get late"
v - "Okay, I'll see you guys tonight" he said giving a kiss to Zaaine first who Jeevika was holding. Then we went in to give a kiss to Jeevika who smiled in return.
Jeevika put Zaaine in the car and then started driving off.
j - "Zaaine are you okay?"
z - "Mommy head hurts"
j - "I know, its okay. The pain will go slowly okay"
z - "Okay mommy" he said rubbing his eyes
Jeevika reached the plaza and woke Zaaine up who was tired and sleepy.
j - "How about we go get some coffee"
z - "Me get coffee also"
j - "You can get coffee or if you want to get a cookie"
z - "Mmm me don't know mommy"
j - "Okay, let's go inside and then you can pick okay"
z - "Mommy you carry me please"
Jeevika lifted him up and carried him inside Starbucks. Zaaine was looking around and was having a tough time deciding what to choose.
j - "What do you want" she said kissing his little cheek.
z - "Mommy coffee please"
j - "Okay" she said putting him down.
Jeevika ordered a coffee for herself and a hot chocolate for Zaaine. They both sat at one of the tables and were drinking their "coffee."
z - "Mommy where daa?"
j - "He has work to do Zaaine. He'll come in the evening"
z - "But me want to buy backpack with Daa"
j - "You don't want to go with me"
z - "No you also but mommy da promise. Da say he buy me new toy and book. Puzzle also"
j - "Ohh really? Okay you want to go later then?"
Zaaine just nodded yes.
j - "How about we go get some new shoes and clothes for Zaaine then? Can you go there with me at least?"
Zaaine just smiled at Jeevika who smiled back at him. They both finished their drinks and drove off to a mall nearby. As they headed inside Zaaine saw Manvi leaving one store
z - "Mommy look"
j - "What Zaaine?"
Zaaine pointed at the other direction and saw Manvi. She smiled at him and they went towards Manvi.
j - "Manvi"
m - "Jeevika? Zaaine? What are you guys doing here?"
j - "We are out to do some shopping for Zaaine. Someones starting school tomorrow. What are you doing?"
m - "Shopping for myself as usual. Hows your head feeling Zaaine"
z - "It hurts"
m - "Awww, but thats okay Zaaine is strong. He probably didn't cry at all"
z - "Only little"
Jeevika and Manvi both smiled and they started walking together to the different stores. They were out shopping after the longest time together. Jeevika found some clothes for Zaaine and then bought him some new shoes also. After heading out for lunch they parted ways and Jeevika went home with Zaaine who was definitely ready for his nap time. By the time they had gotten home Zaaine was already asleep in the car so Jeevika had to carry him upstairs to his room. She removed his shoes and tucked him inside his bed. She went in her room and lay down for sometime. Before she knew it she was fast asleep. Viren came home around 5 in the evening and couldn't find Zaaine or Jeevika. He went upstairs first passing by Zaaine's room and saw him fast asleep. He went inside his bedroom and saw Jeevika asleep also. He got on the bed and snuggled right next to her giving her a kiss. She smiled with her eyes still closed.
