A Little Faith's Anthology of Miscellaneous Musings

Mainly quotes because as Jaymay sings it, 'I'm winning you with words because I have no other way.'
These words speak to me and I truly believe words are underrated so I have tried to pretty them up for you.

Feel free to use any of the things here but please

Very pretty!

Does anyone know who wrote this poem?

Tolkien's Lord of the Rings! Faramir, "I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend. "

This is so true. People strive so hard to gain things and fail to nurture a heart that can appreciate them.

Being brave doesn't mean having no fear but persevering in spite of it.

Philosopher,

You have a balsamic way with words but your choice of words is sharp and acutely inspiring. Your creations will seldom seek appreciation from the masses here albeit I can assure you I will always come around. For, you are an epithet to inspiration and knowledge to me. In this inaugural post of your somewhat out of the box creations' gallery you have produced some very simple graphics and associated them with some equally intricate thoughts.

I'm going to hunt down this book you call your best find of the year. And the song you've mentioned twice by now. Please keep these signatures coming, I'd be looking forward to discussing them with you once I can elaborate on each one of them at length. I'm a little short of time right now.

It's always remarkable to have you share your thoughts with me, in whichever form you choose. 😳

Love from
Kankshita

Kankshita,

Without a modicum of praise, I stand in awe of your ability to layout words in combinations that spark the intellect.

I dear say that you are quite correct about finding an audience here but I'm not disappointed because really Cinderella was expecting dainty and I turned up with a hiking boot!

Anyway, here is one I dedicate to you. It is one of my favourite lines from Macbeth because it sounds so fierce. [As you can see the blending tool is very much my enemy!] I love how a virtue is twisted in support for a vice. What do you think of Lady Macbeth? I can not deny I am fascinated by her.

I have no opinion of Lady Macbeth because I haven't read the novel. I am quite anti-Shakespeare because I found his 'Seven Ages' very sexist. That was two years ago, and having read 'Julius Caesar' as a part of my school portion I have decided to give him a second chance, per se. 😆 When I do, you'd be the first to know. And thank you so very much for this dedication. It is quite fierce and I do find it appealing and relative. 😳

Saraswatichandra

Mostly Jennifer because I find her very beautiful. I used lyrics from the songs of the 1968 film starring Nutan, another beautiful woman.

I wonder what it must be like to be beautiful. Don't misunderstand me, it's not important in the grand scheme of things but it is a blessing and some times I do wonder...

"Saaya bhi jo tera pad jaye
aabad ho dil ka veerana."

"Kisi aur ko shayad kam hogi,
mujhe teri bahut zarurat hai."

"Pehle bhi main bahut tarsa hu,
tu aur na mujh ko tarsana."

Did not like how these turned out. Any suggestions? (I mean apart from destroying them!

Sabah,

I'm not a regular visitor of IF. But since you are back here, I got a good reason to come here more often. Although time is big concern, I would make time to watch your work of art and words. 😳

I like the name of your gallery and the combination of words and pictures that you have chosen here. Words can be simple yet heartfelt. Words can be beautiful yet meaningless. It's the impact they carry from person to person that makes them powerful. I love how you have picked beautiful verses and transformed them into a piece of art. It's innovative and interesting. A siggie shop of words. 👍🏼

I liked all of the siggies. But I specially liked the Tolkien one and the Fear one the most. "For Fear is the shade in the shadow of courage" So true!

I don't know much about making siggies. I only tried making them once in my life. And never thought of making them again. You seem like a natural with these. The choice of colors and patterns is carefully chosen and it has come out quite beautiful. Congratulations on finding this new talent of yours. You are amazing Sabah... with multiple talents of beautiful writing, creating VMs and now making siggies. And I'm very sure we haven't seen all of your talents yet. So please keep exploring them.

I will surely visit here for admiring your work and of course a little chit-chat.

love
Archana
