Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer 'Ek Tha Tiger' has been declared as a Bollywood blockbuster in Japan. The film was premiered in Tokyo on 7th March and to ensure Japanese viewers didn't face any difficulties in understanding the film, Japanese subtitles were included. The film was released in Japan in collaboration with Nikkatsu studios, a leading production house.

Dailybhaskar.com was at ground zero in Tokyo and attended the premiere of 'Ek Tha Tiger'.

Filmmaker Kabir Bedi, who was present in Tokyo for the premiere, was overwhelmed with the response. He said, "I never expected such a big thing. I hope that the movie is well received by Japanese audience."

'Ek Tha Tiger' is the first Bollywood film to be officially released on a commercial basis in Japan.

Other movies like 'Don 2', '3 Idiots' and 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' have also been released here.
